Since I was giving you guys these warnings, SanDisk is down like 40%, 39% at the low of the day today. It was down 40 almost 44%. You know, is the selling over with here? Maybe, maybe not, you know, but even then, I don't think this is where you have to be crowding

We are now heading into pre-midterm volatility. What does that mean? Well, long story short, don't be surprised if the markets go through a bit of a correction over the next couple of weeks. But there are certain stocks out there that are going to make people multi-millionaires. And I want to talk about those stocks in today's episode. Where is the real opportunity in this market? On top of that, I want to discuss some of your catalysts coming for next week and the the big thing that really matters for the markets right now, which is clearly the AI trade, the capex trade, and I want to clearly define my thoughts and expectations around this. Hence, you know, some of the stocks we're going to talk about in this video are like the 1enter ideas. These are some of the stocks that, you know, Wall Street, we're really early to these. Now, to kick off this video, there's there's a lot going on in this market. We are heading into the seasonal period of volatility for the stock market. This happens before midterm election years. It tends to begin in late July and then really kind of trend lower into October. This is normal even during, you know, a normal year. you tend to have volatility in September and October and then you tend to rally towards the end of the year. Well, midterm elections, you tend to get that volatility earlier and a little bit more dramatic and then you tend to rally harder after a midterm election year or after the midterm election itself, which is on November 3rd. Now, I will tell you midterm elections, they there's always something for the markets to to panic about. uh this time around there's going to be a lot more about AI and data centers and backlash and this and that and you know the markets are going to be volatile for the next two or three months here but I do think it is a buying opportunity more important to focus on is that the rally that you actually get after the midterms not just from November 3rd through the end of the year and the Santa Claus rally but this rally tends to extend well into you know the first half even into July or August of the following year. So we could be setting up for as what like a Tom Lee has said uh once in a lifetime kind of a rally next year. I will also tell you that if Republicans lose the midterms that is going to be even better for the stock market because that could limit some of the the power of Republicans right now. This could create to some degree gridlock in Washington and markets they tend to like gridlock. though from that perspective, you're going to get some volatility from the midterms themselves. But this is a very weird market. You have some stocks that have done really well, some stocks that have not done well. Anything tied to the AI trade has done exceptionally well over the last couple of months. And there are questions about the sustainability of the AI trade. I want to be very clear about this. I think that capex is going to grow from 700 billion this year to about 900 billion next year. That is a $200 billion increase. But AI stocks are priced for 1.2 trillion in spending next year. It does seem like in the last couple of weeks, Wall Street has started to say crap, maybe we're overestimating how quickly capex can rise. is the big reason why a lot of AI stocks have recently come under pressure. It's not that the AI trade is over with. It's just we priced in too much too quickly. And the big reason for that is is look, hyperscalers, they're going to be negative free cash flow about $50 billion for this year roughly 50 to 100 billion something like that. If capex grows next year, $200 billion, they're going to be they're going to need to raise like a hundred to $200 billion worth of debt or stock offerings to fund that. If capex goes to 1.2 trillion, you're going to need like 400 billion of debt or stock issuance to to actually fund that. Well, when the hyperscalers over the last couple of quarters, they've come out, they've raised capex guidance. I mean, look at Microsoft, right? The stock just can't get out of its own way because they continue to spend more. And this is how basically all of the hyperscalers are are starting to look. Well, there's a problem with that. A lot of people go, why would the hyperscalers care about their stock price? I don't think they do. I think investors do, right? Like in the credit market if you have to go out and raise a lot of capital but your stock's down 50% from highs as let's say they come out and raise capex again and you know by the end of this year their stocks are down 50 60% from highs it becomes very difficult to get billions and billions of dollars in the credit market because people don't want to lend to stocks when their stocks are in freefall. So that is a governor on spending. Now, best case scenario if you're an AI bull as these hyperscalers come out and they raise capex and their stocks go up. I just don't think we're heading into that environment. So, we have been in the process in the last couple of weeks of rerating things. I would say today the capex expectations are lower than where they were a month ago. How much more do you have to rerate AI stocks? I have no idea. But the process is ongoing in my view. Now we also have a lot of other things going on like in the last couple of weeks strikes on Iran have started up again and this instinctively will push capital into tech stocks into AI stocks like we can see today earlier in the trading day once we started trading AI stocks were getting smoked and then they kind of climbed back as some of the Iran rhetoric grew more aggressive throughout the day because would you rather own Nvidia or Delta Airlines if oil goes goes past $100 a barrel again, you'd rather own Nvidia. So, it is a force to help out AI stocks, but at a time in which people are starting to question the capex trade, I don't know if that's going to be enough to cause another FOMO like rally for AI stocks. And that's probably one of the bigger risks at this moment because as oil goes up, Treasury yields go up and the Fed is expected to be more hawkish. Over the next two weeks, you are going to have very important earnings coming out. Specifically, Wednesday of next week, you have Tesla, Google, Service Now, IBM, Texas Instruments, and some others. And then Thursday and after hours, you're going to have Intel. So, you know, for this rerating of the AI trade, we're going to have a little bit better of an understanding of how sustainable the capex trade is from here based on Alphabet earnings. And really the only thing that matters right now is number one, what is Google's capex? Microsoft or Meta or Amazon. And then I'm assuming capex is going to go up. The only thing you should care about right now if you're invested in AI stocks is one, does capex go up? And two, do hyperscalers go up? You need to see hyperscalers raise capex and go up. You can't have a capex raise and Google falling 10 15%. That doesn't work because eventually it will force Google and hyperscalers to slow down capex spending because again credit markets will begin to dry up. Nobody wants to lend to stocks that are in freefall. Okay? No matter what their long-term fundamental outlooks look like. People are speculators. They're gamblers. They're short-term traders. Nobody is investing in these stocks with an actual five to 10 year outlook. They're investing in these stocks because they think they're going to go up in the next three months, right? Let's not fool ourselves. The stock market is no longer a long-term investing vehicle. And that's why if you do take a long-term approach, you tend to do very well in the stock market because most people don't do that. Okay, I could go on and on about this, but again, long story short, you need hyperscalers to raise capex and signal that capex will continue to rise and you need the stocks to go up. If both of those things or one of those things does not happen, AI stocks will continue to come under pressure because again, it's not about the numbers right now or even the numbers next quarter. Wall Street's trying to figure out how long will the capex trade continue? How long will it continue to rise? And if hyperscalers get punished for spending, it is the timeline is shortening. So that's going to be very important. But again, from a seasonal perspective, you are likely to get some downside in this market simply because of the midterm elections and the volatility that tends to come around that. You can also see if you look at the NASDAQ chart, it does not look good. You had a bull flag pattern. You broke down below the uptrending trend line. You did find support around 695, which is great. Um, if you fall below that, you're on track to test that 100 day moving average, which is downside from here of about 5%. Now, what happens with the war with Iran? What happens with earnings from hyperscalers? You know, these are going to be things that really impact the NASDAQ itself. The S&P has held up a lot better recently because it's not as weighted towards semiconductors and, you know, MAG 7 for that matter. But the Iran war, that's that's still a problem for this market from the Fed perspective, from the inflation perspective and supply constraint perspective like the consumer. The higher oil goes, the more pressure it does put on the consumer. But there is a saying on Wall Street something like this. When the missiles start flying, start buying. Ultimately, the Iran conflict, I believe, will end by the end of this year. one way or another, whether it is militarily or whether it is actually getting a deal done. We'll see. Trump has threatened to destroy power plants and bridges next week. And last time around that seemed to be a point to actually get Iran to come to the table and start negotiating. Again, we'll see what happens with that. But I think ultimately by the end of this year, you're going to have the war with Iran coming to an end. Hopefully the Russia Ukraine war coming to an end. Who knows? I'm optimistic that could happen, but it's not something you need. Iran war will come to an end. The economy is going to remain pretty much the same. I don't think we're going to have a recession. I don't think we're going to have some kind of massive boom either. Although, if oil does come down, consumer numbers are going to start looking a lot better. I think you're going to have inflation coming down. I don't think we're going to have hikes from the Fed in that scenario. We'll see what happens with the capex trade. I do think the capex trade will slow down so it's not such a FOMO like rally in hardware. I think they'll do okay there, but the FOMO is going to die down. And that's the problem with FOMO is when there's FOMO, everyone's rushing into these stocks at any price and they forget about everything else in the market. I don't think you're going to have FOMO in AI stocks into the end of this year or even next year for that matter. This is going to allow other areas of the stock market to actually do better. And if the Iran war ends and we don't get rate hikes and the consumer gets a little stronger, this is going to really reignite other areas of the markets in a big way. So with this logic, I do think the stocks that are really going to outperform here are the ones that are underpriced. What does this mean? Well, if the AI trade slows down and the FOMO goes away, I think hyperscalers, especially the ones that start spending in a more responsible way, I think China's latest model is another iteration of, you know, you don't have to spend like crazy to win in AI. You just have to be really efficient. You have to know what you're doing. Um, if if you guys don't know, China put out another model today which is actually ranking better than Fable 5. they probably spent like $50 million on it, you know. Um, so I think it's a lot less about spending at this point and it's more about doing things efficiently and I think that might start to develop into a theme over the next couple of months. We'll see what they hyperscalers say on earnings of course, but if they start to spend more responsibly, hyperscalers are going to catch a bid. Software is going to catch a bid. I think software, you know, is the bridge to actually getting enterprises to adopt AI. These software companies are already doing business with enterprises. They're already embedded in enterprise systems. Enterprises, they're not going to vibe code their own solutions. AI is great and it it it really helps existing software tools be better and sell more. And I think this is one of the most misunderstood, irrational ideas that I've ever seen on on Wall Street. And I think some software stocks, we're going to talk about them in just a moment, are presenting once in a-lifetime opportunities. But also cyclicals that that that play on, you know, lower oil and a less aggressive Fed, a stronger consumer. These are going to be names that I think really outperform as well over the next couple of years. nonAI industrials, nonAI financials. Some of the banks like a Wells Fargo to me looks pretty good all things considered, right? Banks that really cater to middle America. Within software, I think Zeta, Rubric, UiPath, Service Now, Zcaler, HubSpot, MongoDB, Snowflake, Data Dog, and Back Blaze. These these are some of the names that I really like within software. Some of them have different, you know, riskreward profiles of course, but these are the stocks I think double, triple, 5x, 10x over the next one to three years. And and that's what we do on this channel. We're trying to find outsized opportunities. I don't care about a 20%, you know, a stock that's going to go up 20%. AI stocks might do that in some kind of rebound rally. I'm looking for the next 5 10xer, right? So, some of those I think they're going to have huge upside. cyclicals, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, Celsius, Blooming Brands, ELF, Sweet Green, Airbnb, Hilton, Tesla, Nike, Las Vegas Sands. Although not a huge fan of Nike at this point, I think they're really missing the ball on consumer trends, but like if you really wanted to own Nike, I I'm I'm not going to hate that idea. within financials, Wells Fargo, a Robin Hood, SoFi, Fizzer, Root, Lemonade or Oscar. Some of these I think are also going to well outperform the markets and outperform AI stocks from here at this point. Robotics, you know, Tesla, Rockwell Automation, Symbotic, as well as Zebra, you know, Zebra. Zebra Technology is a very interesting company. have started to do some research on about a 12 billion market cap. They're used by 94 out of 100 for 95 out of the top 100 companies for um automation and warehouses and inventory and things like this and they're pursuing this you know AI road map which kind of like symbiotic just more of the you know data side of it. They they sell hardware things as well. But Zebra is another interesting one within the robotic space. I do like energy. I think energy will be important. Nuclear like UU Leu, New Scale Power, CCJ, some of these things. Um you know even like uh uh you know uh Bloom Energy, something like that could even be um kind of interesting at the right price. Within AI stocks, I do like some of the data center names. I think compute is going to be um more in demand, right? But I also think if we go from 700 billion to 900 billion in capex, if memory prices come down a little bit or server prices come down a little bit, you might actually deploy more gigawatts with, you know, less money, right? So compute could actually grow. That could be really good for data centers like a Kors or a Keel potentially, you know, with other AI stocks, Marll and Qualcomm at the right price. If AI stocks continue to sell off, I I do think those are going to be very attractive opportunities. Of course, I like software. I like cyclicals more at this point. I like financials more at this point, but I do think at the right price, AI stocks are a buy kind of this is my expectation from here on into 2027. I think we're gonna have a neutral to do doubbish Fed because I think inflation's going to just continue to come down. We had a negative CPI report um you know a couple days ago. Let's not forget that that's a big positive for the broadening trade. I think the war with Iran will end by the end of this year. Hopefully Ukraine war ends. Who knows? You know, everyone's going to have their own opinions on that. But if that did end, that's like the cherry on top for the bullish Sunday. Number three, inflation falls. Number four, real estate picks up. Number five, the consumer is going to boom or at least be stronger that, you know, next year than it is this year, I believe. And number six, I think AI is healthy. I don't think this is a bubble. But I do think you have to go through a consolidation. I do think you have to go through a moment of reckoning, if you will, because we priced in too much too quickly. That's why I've always said on this channel, you want to position into companies before the FOMO hits. I believe software is going to have AI FOMO. You know, people are going to be FOMOing into AI stocks again at some point. If you're positioning now into these names, you're not buying the FOMO. [laughter] You know, you're early. And that's the idea. You want to be early to market trends and when things are shifting. And that's what I think we're really good at at at doing on this channel. You know, I was warning about AI stocks. I was warning about a SanDisk at $2,200 a share warning that the stock could fall 50%. You know, stock's down to $1,400. Since I was giving you guys these warnings, SanDisk is down like 40%, 39% at the low of the day today. It was down 40 almost 44%. You know, is the selling over with here? Maybe, maybe not, you know, but even then, I don't think this is where you have to be crowding. I think there are much better areas that are going to make people a lot of money.
