All right, let's talk about why Micron keeps going higher, guys, and why the bears are wrong about Micron. Got a couple really key things here to to share with you. Going to be a really quick, very straightforward video. You can see right now, I'm recording this video on Wednesday, August 5th at about 6:00 a.m. Dallas time. The market has not opened yet. Uh you can see that uh Micron is trading up two, excuse me, down. Can't get my can't get my up and down right. Down 2.3% in after hours trading. uh it and it closed yesterday um Tuesday session up 7.62% 62%. And you can see right now the NASDAQ futures are down 2% and the Dow futures are up 159 points. That's not 2%, that's two points, Austin, you get my point. I'm not caffeinated yet, guys. Okay, so let's talk about why Micron keeps bouncing higher and why the bears are wrong. The bears are wrong about Micron in that they overreacted and have been overreacting for the last month uh about when the bull run from Micron is really going to end. That's really the key thing here and I'm going to explain that to you here in just a minute and this is something that I've talked about or or mentioned a couple times in passing. Okay, so we got a couple of really interesting uh analyst commentary about the kind of the state of the market as it relates to semiconductor and and and me memory chips that does sync up and coincide with some things that I've said. So Morgan Stanley u sounded the allclear in in red here for artificial intelligence stocks that one of their key analysts confirming that revenues for uh Micron are growing fast enough to provide AI hyperscalers Google Meta Amazon Microsoft so forth Oracle sufficient cash flow to buy the semiconductor chips they need to okay today Micron's getting an even more micron specific analyst so there's been another analyst that that's come out, okay, reiterating their buy their buy uh rating and it's uh Vivic from Bank of America still reiterating that $1,550 price target. And can you can remember that right now we're trading at $8.92. Okay. So a significant move up from where we currently are. Okay. Um so this is interesting. So uh this particular the the Bank of America analysts argues that the Micron bears are actually right about the stock. Now, they're right about the stock from the standpoint of that there will be an end date to when the uh the supply shortage will run out. And I have said that too. There is there's an end date. I think it's north of 2030. Okay? Because it's it's it's past that. We know beyond a shadow of a doubt that fabrication facilities are not going to are not going to come online and even start beginning to meet demand until 2028 and 2029. So it literally pushes our date for why and when and how Micron can continue to go up and rise in price from the standpoint of that memory shortage. Okay. So the bears are right. They they've they've been running around screaming about that that this is going to end. Yeah, you're right. And I've said that. We're all right. Everybody knows you should know that there will be an end date to when the shortage for memory chips to go into processors will end. and it will end probably sometime around the 2030 maybe 2031 time frame as we start to continue to catch up with the backlog. Okay, they're just wrong about the timing. The bears are. Okay, so semiconductors remain a cyclical industry to a to a point. I do argue that the um the strategic customer agreements that Micron's put in place will um have alleviated some of that cyclical nature of the market. But again, I would really want to focus on the fact of the bears seem to have it in their mind that this shortage is going to end end next month, if you will, or it's going to end in the next couple months or end in the next year. And that's simply not a fact because at some point, again, supply will catch up with demand. Prices will normalize at some point. Mic micron's profit margins will move down. Yes. At the end of that bull run. We all know that what we're seeing here with this AI buildout is is something that has never happened ever in the history of of man. And it's simply there is a set runway for this and I've given that to you. I think it's it's you know it's down the road a little bit at least into 2030. So what does this mean? So look, it basically means that last week's selloff and and I would argue that the previous month's selloff, the entire month of of July where Micron was down about 18%. Um, investors, [clears throat] bearish investors if you will, jumped the gun, selling the stock literally years before prices have quote normalized rather than reacting to fundamentals of the memory market today. I 100 million% agree. the bears simply are getting it wrong. And we've had an overreaction to emotion panic to uh I think rhetoric themes that have continued to be out there in mainstream financial media creating a bunch of uncertainty in the market. Period. That's what I've got for you. So, what do you think? Do you think I'm right? Do you think I'm wrong? Do you have an opinion? Drop it in the comments below. Would love to hear from you. But again, the bears are wrong about Micron. They really are. They're wrong about the timing. Okay. And so, and I think that that's what we've been seeing play out in the market, but Micron will continue to go higher because again, they are doing a fantastic job of managing that supply to demand ratio with the fabrication facilities they have. They have they have allocated billions and billions and billions of dollars to bring new fabrication facilities online the next couple of years to to try to meet demand. And all weekend we've talked about that the bears are just simply wrong about the timing and people have been overreacting. So drop in the comments below. Love to hear from you. And as I said, I wanted to keep this short and I'll see you. Thanks. Bye.
