AX stock investors are definitely seeing a bit of a pull down right now. We have companies like Micron down 17% in the past uh 5 days. We have Nebas down roughly 24%, Navitas down roughly 20%, light down 17%, Coherent [snorts] down roughly 20%. And on today's episode, I want to take a closer look at why I believe this dip is an opportunity uh for me to add into a lot of shares. So, let's take a closer look in today's episode. But before we begin, if you're serious about semiconductor and AI investing, I break down major earnings and conferences inside my community, institutional quality research built for retail investors. Get 33% off at whatthechipappen.com. All right, guys. So, if you have been following this channel for the past two to three months, one thing that I have been discussing is that I felt the biggest opportunity for me was in the boring companies, right? Nvidia. A lot of people probably got bored, right? Uh I've been talking about Nvidia, about Microsoft, about Meta, about Broadcom, companies that I believe were at a great valuation and um that's where I would be putting a lot of my money in, right? And and that's where I have been putting money into some of those big players recently, any new money coming in. Now, the reason is I tend to buy a I believe there's times to buy low beta names and there's time to buy high beta names. When the market hates AI stocks, I think that's when high beta names are are are very attractive. And we've seen various dips in the past from the deepseek moment uh from Microsoft uh slowing down data centers. There's been so many portions in in in crashes in the past two years that have create been created by some form of bearish thesis. And I think that is the opportunity when everybody gets scared and the bears come out to kind of go into high beta names. The unfortunate part about those types of uh purchases is I don't necessarily deploy everything at once because the dip keeps on dipping, right? The dip keeps on dipping. And at the same time, I also like to continue to invest. So when those opportunities are not there, I believe boring companies, and there's still a lot of boring companies in the tech space are extremely fine. So again, historically, I I thought Nvidia, Microsoft, Meta were great purchases. I think with the recent draw down that has changed a lot. I think now is the opportunity for me to go heavy on high beta names. And I want I'm curious to see what you guys are doing. And again, that doesn't mean I'm going to use all my dry powder right now. Everybody has their own investment styles. For me, for example, I have a nice amount of positions in treasury uh short-term treasuries. Uh and usually that collects interest or that gives me a nice interest payments um when it's just sitting there. And if I need cash, those are the first I sell to try to build whatever position. And then sometimes I swap back and forth depending if some of my stocks have run up a nice amount. Uh but right now we can see that the big players, the big players that have um been sitting and and kind of sitting at those strong valuations, they're not really down much right now. Nvidia in the past 5 days is pretty much flat. Bracom in the past 5 days is pretty much down 1% flat. Qualcomm, one that trades at a very low valuation um down in the past 5 days down 3.1%. So the market right now is definitely pricing these as these are valuation ones that I don't need to sell off right now, right? No one I I don't I'm not selling Nvidia uh due to any fears. And we'll talk about some of the bearish places in in a bit. But now we're seeing other names that are more high beta take a big of a bigger hit, right? AMD uh down about 5%. Uh regardless still in the past month is still up about 5%. Intel down 16%. uh coherent down 20% um in the past month down 21%. And pretty much since pretty much flat since April, right from April down about 10%. Um early April at that. So it's been a few months since the stock hasn't really moved um and all and and again I believe my time was to buy low beta names that then right now there are certain industries that look a lot more attractive and I'll name some of those. And I think everybody here most likely has their own bullish case. There's so many shortages and so many opportunities in the market. I don't necessarily follow all them. For me, the biggest opportunities are in the Cleo Neocloud market, right? In the Neocloud market for sure. uh companies like Iran, companies like Corore, people like obviously other smaller NEO players like Nebia, uh not smaller but other ones like Nebas or smaller like white fiber uh like Bitier the list Kio the list goes on and on and on but I just think for me the neocloud market is one of the biggest opportunities and mispriced uh right now someone might say the same about the optics market somebody might say the same for the memory market everybody has their own investment style so cororeweave I rent those are my biggest buys recently in the past few days. Wednesday, Thursday, unfortunately, I lost a family member. Talked a little bit about it in the previous video. So, I didn't do any purchasing on Thursday. Friday, we had off. Monday, I didn't do much purchasing. I think we had a bit of a a rally yesterday. Um, but today we're back to those levels in Thursdays. And we could continue to see uh bearish pressure. And we have a lot of bearish news, right? You had Meta kind of creating or or reports that Meta was going to sell AI compute. that created kind of a bearish thesis that potentially we are at uh over supply space. I don't think that's the case. You also had um reports that Nvidia had some delays and that was going to create some pain in certain solutions. I don't think that's necessarily true either. And you have kind of this uh I think Bur went on to a little bit more bearish sentiment into the semiconductor space. You also have kind of the fear that open- source models is supposedly bad for the semiconductor industry. Um, so you've had this crazy crazy amount. You had Nvidia, uh, I talked about it yesterday, Nvidia kind of going into funding and financing a lot of these NeoCloud players. And a lot of people see all this and put it as a bearish case. Hey, Nvidia is is paying for their own demand, right? They're inflating numbers, yada yada yada yada yada yada. Um, and and and and to me that is creating all a perfect storm. Obviously, a lot of macroeconomics. There's also a lot of tensions that u seem to be resp-sparking um in the Middle East again again. Uh so volatility will continue it but I believe companies like Iren at a $40 price point cororeweave at a $83 these are the times when for me the AI cycle right and and we'll talk about some of the AI leads but I I I AI if you're using AI to some strength and especially in the software side some of these software solution AI AI agent software solutions are taking hours to complete 30 minutes to complete I believe one of the biggest indication that we are in an AI bubble is going to be when intelligence is instant or somewhere near instant. I'm not talking about consumer AI. I don't think consumer AI is really much of a driver anytime soon in the overall AI ecosystem. And a lot of the consumer questions that you most consumers do for AI, I think could be done in lower models. And I don't think that's where the demand is. That's where some people think the demand is. And when open source models come out and when certain uh local models come out, people think it's game over. But that's not where the real demand is happening right now. I believe the GPU pricing is going to continue to be elevated for foreseeable future due to computer shortages from various shortage reasons be it being memory, via it being power. No matter what shortage there is, if there is a shortage of something, the current GPUs that are online right now are going to have a benefit from it. pricing are going to increase. So, whoever has active power, whoever has active GPUs can benefit dramatically, right? We've seen Nebia's doing extremely well, almost touched $300. Unfortunately, now it's down under $200. Uh, but a lot of people are getting excited about this one at these price points. I think it's insane to me. It's insane and you guys can call it coping, but Nebby is having a market cap of $50 billion and at the same time, Cororeweave having a market cap of $45 billion. Yet Core Reef has a 1 gawatt of active power. Nebus doesn't have anywhere near that of active power. That's a lot of GPUs that Cororeef in my opinion has as an asset. Now I'm not saying Nebus is overpriced. What I believe is Coreweave is underpriced right before any of you Nebia shareholders get a little bit angry u because I'm being I I think Coree is just undervalued based on the amount of GPUs that it's on right now. And for me, GPU valuation is something that's completely completely mispriced in the overall market. Um, so, so I'm very bullish. I think right now is the time where I'm going to be aggressive. I did buy Core Wee. I did buy Iran. We were just talking about it at my community what the chipappen.com about some of the recent opportunities in in in the space as well. And I would be curious to see what you guys are planning on buying right now. Are you guys in the memory space? Are you guys buying in the optics case? cuz some of these have taken a hit. And you don't need to be in every single one of these shortages, right? You don't need to buy every memory company. You don't have to buy every optics company. You don't have to buy every power company. You don't even have to be in the Neocloud space. But I do believe this industry and shortages will continue to have some strength and do your analysis and see which one is the one that attracts you the most. The one that attracts me the most is the NeoCloud space. And AI evolution continues, right? AI for examp meta meta today introduced muse image and music v and muse video the first media generation models developed by meta super intelligence I think we even saw them in arena right arena uh which is kind of a benchmark they were ra rated number two I believe in AI imaging so meta's moving in the AI lab right in the AI market they are moving they are cooking we see reports that space x AI is expected to launch a new AI model with cursor as soon as tomorrow. Not necessarily know if that's true. This is probably market. Uh some betting stuff could be happening there. Um but the innovation in AI continues. Nvidia recently announced their kind of the Vera CPU. They updated more updates, right? They talked a little bit about the Vera CPU and AI agents. For agents in AI factory, speed matters. The faster the CPU can run the tool, the faster the agent can perform the task at hand. So CPU needs to be able to run fast because the agent can then perform the task at hand faster. And for those that are not familiar, when you're using an AI agent, it's using a tool. It's using some form of software, some form of application. So it goes back between the GPU and the CPU to think of what it's doing. Hey, the LLM says this is what you need to do. So then it create it uses the G the CPU to move it. So the GPU does the thinking, the CPU does the action and back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. So you need to make sure those are moving at fast levels. You can't have someone a CPU taking too long because then the GPU is just sitting and not doing anything. And for the AI factory, the utilization of a GPU is the most valuable resource in the data center. Uh so anytime waiting for attacks to complete constraints the revenue of an AI factory [snorts] and AI agents AI agents I believe is going to be a massive massive market and we are still completely in early early innings out of this this alone AI agents in the software space and AI agents kind of learning to use applications I think that's all the innovation we need in AI to continue to be supply demand imbalance for at least 18 months, but I'm pretty sure there's going to be plenty of innovations that are still going to happen from there. Um, that that's just added tailwind uh to this AI market. Uh, so Nvidia kind of talks about their their Vera CPU, why it's extremely beneficial. They talk about how companies like Perplexity are also using it. Perplexity tested Vera on the agentic work it runs every day. running a real cutting coding workflow, cloning a repository and running it test suite in sandboxes. Vera completed the job at about 1.5x faster than x86 and started concurrent sandboxes up to 1.9x faster. Perplexity is now looking to deploy Vera in its upcoming production uh system. When I hear this right when we're still very much in early AI agents, I still see the cycle continuing especially with all the shortages in the overall industry. Now, Nvidia also brought up a pretty cool slideshow recently. Many people aren't discussing about it because they're not uh crazy like me that checks a lot of these companies on a daily daily basis. Uh but Nvidia just released their July 2026 um presentation and they have mentioned a lot of things. First, they see more than a trillion dollars in cumulative Blackwell and Ruben revenue from calendar year of 2025 through calendar year of 2027. We already knew that but um but it's great to rehear it right and they say it's still growing. They recently have met Anthropic uh Meta SL uh they have multiple other partnerships as well uh that are going to continue to grow that growing basis between Blackwell and Reuben between calendar year 2025 and calendar year uh through calendar year of 2027. So a lot of growth opportunities just there. The other thing Nvidia mentions is their demand is multi-industry. non-hyperscaler is 50% of data center revenue. So a huge amount of demand is waking up in the enterprise side and other smaller AI labs. The other thing is they plan to return 50% of more or more of free cash flow to shareholders. As a big Nvidia shareholder, this is actually pretty exciting. I do believe I am now a [clears throat] dividend investor. They also mentioned that combination of regular modest dividend increases and expanding stock purchases. This is a company that's growing at crazy levels and putting its money back to work. I do believe a lot of other companies maybe in the memory space who have now a nice great balance sheet are going to start doing a lot of increased dividends or massive uh stock repurchase which could create a lot of benefit for memory shareholders. So let me know if you guys are in any of them. Now Nvidia continues to explain the reason they are the best is they build a full stack solution. And to me it I don't care right. I don't care who wins in the AI chip base. Obviously, Nvidia being a big position, I want them to win. But I think for a lot of the other investments that are in the AI investment, it doesn't matter who wins because the demand is going to be out there. Right now, Nvidia is the clear winner and they're going to continue to dominate and they're going to continue to do u expand and and and research and innovate in the AI industry. But what I'm really excited is the innovation happening within the AI companies because as AI innovation continues and we saw that with Meta, we see that with Perplexity, we see that with OpenAI, that's what's going to drive more tokens and that's what's going to keep the semiconductor cycle going. Uh the other thing that they kind of talk about, they reave their road map, right? And here they talk about the Kyber and the 144. It seems like there's no real delay here. We already kind of got reports from um a spokesperson at Nvidia, but I think this gives a little bit more of a clarification. Nvidia showcases that for AI factories, right? AI factories, what's crucial is time to first token, the usefulness of a life, and how much um tokens you get per watt. And Nvidia says that for their products, they continue to benefit and you will have the best AI revenue out of there. For that reason, I really do enjoy NeoCloud players that are completely partnering up with Nvidia. Obviously, some of those big winners have been Nebus. Uh, and I believe some of those big winners will continue to be Coreweave and I rent as well. The other thing that we see is AI cloud GPU pricing, right? In during a market where one is worrying about AI being dead, this is not what you would see. GPU pricing are pretty much intact compared to two years ago. The A100 is still making money, right? A100 is still doing amazing in GPU pricing. Trailing 3 months, up 7%, trailing 6 months, up 5%. The H100 trailing three months, up 13%, trailing 6 months are up 21%. The H100 is kicking, right? Is doing amazing. I can't imagine how Blackwell um GPU pricing are also going. That's because the demand is crazy. And if the demand is crazy, the whole supply chain is also doing well, right? And and GPU, it's not just GPU. What runs these GPUs? The AI servers, you need the networking solutions, you need the optics solutions, you need the memory solutions, you need the compute, you need the power, you need the infrastructure, you need the neoclouds, you need the cloud server providers. GPU pricing indicates that everything is extremely extremely healthy right now, even if the market might be a bit bearish. Now, Nvidia also says that they are now going to be using their free cash flow and powerful supply chain line to make sure there's more clouds, more NeoCloud players, more OEMs, more enterprises to be able to continue to push demand even more and more. I think Nvidia is making sure this demand is not only from a limited amount of players, right? They don't want the demand only being on Amazon, on Google, on Microsoft. So, be it. They want to make sure and enthropic or open AI, they want to make sure there's a lot of different players because when there's a lot of different players in either the AI infrastructure in either the AI model, you will have a lot of competition and a lot of competition forces AI innovation and AI innovation forces this flywheel where you have more demand for AI compute and overall really great for uh shareholders. Uh so again overall I'm pretty excited. Nvidia also gave a broke down breakdown of customer diversification. Hyperscalers still make up a good portion of revenue breakdown based on end consumption. That's internally. Uh so I'm guessing that's Bad Rock. That's Microsoft Azure. Uh that's Google kind of whatever studio they have. Then AI natives also make up a good portion. AI labs and enterprise are definitely picking up um some of the market here in the uh revenue breakdown based on end consumption. So this AI market in my opinion is still extremely healthy. I am gonna continue to buy. For me though, it's now no longer focusing on low beta names that I was a few months ago. Now I have shifted into focusing more in high beta names. I think high beta names while the dip could continue and I'm not going to use all my dry powder at once. This is the time where I get to increase my positions on core at a um stock price of 80s of Iran in the 40s or even high 30s, right? this and and many other people are probably doing the same for whatever market they are really focusing on. Uh so let me know have you guys purchased anything in the past 24 hours? If so would love to hear what are some of your stories. Take care. Have a good day.
