So Nvidia's backing another data center. It's another Monday on Wall Street, right guys? This time for Open AI. We're talking $ 105 billion in financing for OpenAI and this data center is going to be in Ohio. So we're going to break down what's going on, my thoughts, the stock of course and overall where my head's at now as Nvidia is a top holding of mine. So guys, hit the like button. It's all linked down below in the bio and the comments. You guys know where to find it. And now, let's dive into it. So, overall, the market today was all over the place. We had the VIX go up around 7%. We had gold and silver move. Bitcoin kind of What did Bitcoin do? I think it kind of stayed flat. I actually lost it here on my watch list, guys. I don't know what's going on. Bitcoin, uh, actually, no, it went up 2 and a.5% as every index in the US market went down, right? The Q's, Russell, S&P, Dow, you name it. And the VIX again went up around 6%, which I was talking about buying calls on the VIX in my video um, last week, right, which I didn't do yet. I don't think it's too late, you know? I think it I think the VIX potentially could just be starting to to heat up here, but we'll cover that in another video because we have to talk about Nvidia, which ended up staying flat on the day. Um, actually down a little bit, about 15 cents on the day and overall it's still up massively, right? I mean, Nvidia now is up around 20% off the lows from 2 3 weeks ago, and I think we might have a little bit more juice left into earnings. Uh, which earnings are coming up on the 26th. That's next Wednesday, guys. Get ready. Get ready. And listen, we could run a little more into earnings. But ultimately, I think after earnings, like we've seen before, I think Nvidia might pull back a little bit. Uh, which I don't think it's going to crash. I don't think it's going to give back all the gains from the last couple of weeks, but it might soften a little bit here, guys. Pull back um and see some kind of draw down, which again, it has done that before. So, with that being said, um Nvidia chartwise is trading at alltime or near all-time highs, trading at multi-week highs. We're above these moving averages. We have a golden cross. Bulls are in charge. There's no doubt about it. But again, it is a little overbought into the print. Um, and judging based off history, we we kind of know what might happen here after earnings. So, with that being said, guys, and by the way, I'm long Nvidia. It's one of my biggest stocks, like I said, so I'm holding through earnings. Um, you know, I'm not planning on selling anytime soon, but yeah, that's kind of where I'm at there with the charts. Uh, Bulls are in charge. We're looking good, but keep in mind what's been going on uh the last couple of quarters, right? So, we can see the headline here. Nvidia is backing $ 105 billion in financing for OpenAI data center in Ohio. If we come down here a little bit, here's Jensen. I'm pretty sure this was in uh Tokyo, Japan back in July. Uh you know, this was when he was speaking um at the Japan AI ecosystem reception in Tokyo. And if we come down here a little bit, let me see if I can X out this annoying uh thing at the bottom. There we go. So, Nvidia will provide up to $105 billion in financing for a new AI data center for OpenAI in Ohio. A securities filing revealed today on Monday. And the credit will support an initial 4.25 gawatts of computing capacity with the option for an additional 3.75 gawatt. Nvidia [clears throat] will provide the compute with capacity expected to come online in phases in 2028. and SP Energy will build and manage the data center at the Portis Pike Technology Campus in Pike, Ohio. And let's see, through a 20-year lease, oh, yeah, to OpenAI, uh, the Frontier Lab has a stake in the company, and OpenAI CEO Sam Olman was an early investor in SB Energy. And Jensen said, "We're securing long- lived infrastructure for NVIDIA compute so open AAI can deploy the most productive AI factories that can be upgraded repeatedly with each new generation, delivering more intelligence and better economics. And CNBC recently reported that Nvidia was in discussions with OpenAI to provide a backs stop of up to $250 billion that would let the model maker raise debt for a 10 gawatt data center at the Ohio location. Um, and the Wall Street Journal reported last week that Nvidia was set to cut that guarantee to less than $120 billion for the buildout. And the deal is Nvidia's latest in a string of financing maneuvers to support the sprawling AI data center buildout, which has raised concerns about circular financing in the AI trade, which I think that's a bunch of FUD. Okay, there are valid arguments about circular financing, but at the end of the day, the demand for this stuff is through the roof for these data centers. the future. You know, we're heading into uncharted territory, guys. And people underestimate how much demand there are for these data centers from the hyperscalers, right? It's limitless in my opinion, you know, and yeah, the the main constraint right now is really electricity, uh the grid, you know, uh the the the power supply. And once we figure that out, this is going to go through the roof, which is why they're making it an asset class, which is why all the the big boys on Wall Street want their hands on it. You know, the Goldman's, the the KKRS, the Black Rocks, Blackstones, you know, you name it. And we can see if we come down here a little bit, as part of the Ohio deal, SP Energy and SoftBank will build power sources supporting 10 gawatts of energy and invest at least $4.2 billion into regional grid infrastructure. Nvidia will invest $1.5 billion in SB Energy. Open uh OpenAI said the new data center will support 35,000 new construction jobs through 2032 and 2500 long-term position. So no doubt, you know, we're seeing uh more jobs be created even though people say AI's taken all these jobs. Um I feel like that is, you know, there there is some truth to it, but people aren't realizing how many jobs are going to be created. you know the new industries that will be created ultimately um from AI over the next 5 10 15 years things that we can't even imagine yet you know will be created what what do you think happened you know 100 years ago 200 years ago when everybody was a farmer you know and then things started changing the industrial revolution you know times gone by and you know we got the internet you know we got now AI 30 years later. It's like there new industries are going to be built um that that you can't even think about, right? That that aren't maybe even in existence yet. You know what I mean? With all this new technology where we're headed. Um and that's, you know, compute is so critical here. And that's why again the Wall Street guys, the big boys, they're getting all their hands on it, right? The asset class, uh which I think is so bullish for Nvidia. You know, I don't think it's fully priced in to Nvidia stock. uh which is why I'm still holding it, which is why I'm not uh you know locking in gains on the position yet. Uh but that's the quick rundown on the Ohio news. $ 105 billion in financing. Um and obviously Nvidia is not doing anything on the news. The stock I mean we're talking about a $5.5 trillion company, $5 trillion company, but they did invest into SB Energy. I don't know if they're public. Um are they public? They might be. No, they're they're definitely not. Uh they're a private subsidiary backed primarily by um Soft Bank and Open AI. However, the company is targeting an IPO aiming to raise at least $5 billion. Oh, okay. So, they're they're going to go public. SP Energy is aiming to actually go public um uh as early as next month, raising anywhere between five and 7 billion. Um honestly, you know, I'm not the biggest fan of IPOs, right? I've said that before. I I'll say it again. They get overhyped. People get too excited. They buy, they buy, they buy, they buy, they push the valuation up. It doesn't make sense. Uh but who knows? Maybe a more low-key one like an SB Energy. Maybe maybe it will do well and the gains will sustain. You know, we'll see. We'll see. Either way, um I'm not the biggest fan of IPOs, but I am watching SP Energy when they do ultimately um IPO, and we'll talk about it here on the channel, guys. So, I don't want to go too long on this video. That's pretty much it. You know, I'm long Nvidia. We got some good news regarding OpenAI. I don't think it's a bubble. I think the demand's there, which is why we're seeing all this stuff happening. And I think we'll see a little more green and Nvidia stock into earnings. Uh but ultimately I think we will get a draw down whether it's right before earnings post earnings I think we're going to get that draw down uh based on what I've seen in recent memory in recent history you know and Nvidia wasn't the only AI stock that did well today you know we had Lamb Research up 3 and a.5% Micron 4% GLW 4.5% uh Coherent crushed it 8% up so pretty good day for a lot of these names even though the overall market went down.
