Man, oh man, what an interesting day. I have an update for you guys. What's up? It's Ricky with Tech Solutions. Hope that you guys are all having an amazing Thursday. Let's go ahead and recap the day. Again, I was up $7,000. I held 50 shares because I thought that Micron was cheap enough. Um, I'm still holding them, but it sold off enough during the uh extended hours that I ended up giving back like $700. Nonetheless, very grateful for how today played out. Just so you could see, my average price is right around8.48. I have 50 shares and I'm going long on it. So, $7 to $800 is what I gave back. Nonetheless, we did a great job fixing the mistakes that we made yesterday. Going in too aggressive too early on, not taking profits quick enough, and fighting the trend. Now, again, I'm okay with holding the 50 shares. I know technically speaking, Micron is still bearish, but it's oversold enough. I'm willing to take the risk. I think the ratios still make sense. Uh, and to make matters even worse, I actually bought the dip on Netflix and I actually bought it a little bit more than what I probably should have, but I just found it to be so attractive. Um, at least now I ended up losing $1,000. U, but my average purchase price in my opinion is very good. It's right around $6810. Um, I'm excited for this one. I'm excited to see how markets trade tomorrow. It's not that it has to recover soon, right? If you actually see what what and how it reported earnings, uh it did beat earnings expectation for EPS, but revenue was missed. It's down 35% quarter over quarter. Fundamentally speaking, it's still undervalued, but technically speaking, price momentum is terrible. It's incredibly bearish. And if you look at this again, if you're a beginner, I would stay away. Like it it is a very bearish stock. Consistent lower lows, lower highs. It just made new 52- week lows with a big leg down. It's down 8.9%. I want to see what happens tomorrow. And because of that, I wanted to have some skin in the game. Just because I'm willing to take the risk does not mean that you need to. Again, I've shared my good trades and I want to share my bad trades with you guys. And we'll see how this one plays out tomorrow. With that being said, um let me update you guys on some news. This was a wild one. Like I I had to wait to confirm. President Trump just turned his insider trade into paid subscription. You guys let me know down in the comments section what you think. Trump owns Truth Social. That's his like social media application. Um it also trades under the ticker DJT, right? Uh his post already moved markets. We all know that, right? He's made it very apparent that you know when he treats peace deal no peace deal, it moves markets and he's been aware of this. Now Trump media is launching a paid API that gives Wall Street real-time access to s uh to those same post. So again, just more direct and quicker access to this information, including his own post. Many high frequency trading firms have already signed up. Isn't that just like odd? Doesn't this just like cheapen the presidency? You're just doing everything to like sell out. Is it just me? You guys let me know down in the comments section what you think. The president of the United States selling more direct access backend API because he notes his tweets move markets. So, why not make money off of that as he moves markets? A complete abuse of power and conflict of interest if you ask me. Um, markets were trading lower. It looks like something is actually happening right now. If we pay attention to the NASDAQ market, uh, really nice uptick for like the past 10, 15 minutes. And also, Micron, a really nice push. We'll see if that actually carries into tomorrow. I want to remind you, we've been on a consistent downturn for a lot of these semiconductor stocks. You could see Micron is currently down like 33% from previous all-time highs. SanDisk from 2380 is down 35%. All of them semiconductors, memory chip stocks got hit really hard. Uh with that being said, it's not the only thing that got hit really hard. The US has struck a key Iranian road bridge which is again one of the threats that the US has made, right? The US has killed at least two people, injured four and caused power outages in the area because of uh not because of this. This is different. $300 billion in Japanese dollars has been wiped from the Japanese market. Uh and the Nikki has crashed 4% extending a brutal sell-off for the second straight day in a row. I really hope that this is not foreshadowing what's set to happen tomorrow in our markets. But again, first the South Korean market and now the Japanese market having a negative implication or negative influence of the overall market. Iran has launched extensive attacks on Qatar with at least three to four impacts in Doha minutes ago with initial reports of the U US I don't know how to pronounce any of that uh but air base. Uh simultaneously Iranian retaliation is ongoing along the Gulf Coast countries with explosions heard in Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait and Iraq. Again just a terrible look. It looks like things are escalating. They It's been happening all week. I think this is the sixth ongoing day in a row that the US and Iran are actively attacking one another. I mean, Trump made it very clear from his initial attack, I think it was July 7th, um he has 60 days to attack and continue to attack without congressional approval. I really do believe at this point it looks like he's going to try to take advantage of it. So, we'll see how things follow. Again, we talked about Netflix. We talked about what it reported. Um, and I'm excited to see what follows tomorrow. You guys let me know down in the comments section. What is your approach going into tomorrow, Friday? Are you going to stay cash because you're kind of uncertain? There's nothing wrong with that, right? Are you willing to buy the dip on some of these semiconductor or memory chip stocks because you think that they're so oversold 30 to 40% of a sell-off that you want to buy now in case of a potential recovery? Or do you think more selling pressure is going to happen? Are we going to just short a lot of these semi and memory chip stocks because direction is so favorable at least for this past week for the bears? Again, they've sold off like 5% today. They sold off like 10% yesterday. That's two very favorable days, right? So, um you guys let me know down in the comments se section what you plan to do. We will be talking about a plan of action in tomorrow's live trading session with our LPP team and I would love to see you there.
