Yeah, based on the Hill Conviction Index, this would be a decent time to start adding to those Micron bags.

All right, what's up everybody and welcome back to another Friday here in the stock market. Well, in today's video, I wanted to talk to you all about our good old buddy, our good old pal Micron because man oh man, did this thing just have a wild day. I don't know if you guys were watching this. We were actually watching it pretty closely on the live stream earlier today, but this thing was all over the place. I mean, it started off the day with a dump, then it pumped, then it dumped all the way back to around $83. Then it pumped all the way back up over $100, back up towards 93 before U-turning again, coming back to around 845 bucks. I've not seen this many U-turns in one day since I was trying to drive through Houston traffic at 3 p.m. This thing was all over the place. And interestingly enough, as we were getting these wild swings from Micron, we actually did see a massive buy signal flash for Micron when it was right around $830, which isn't far off from where we are right now. And this is one of the buy signals that I personally do use in my portfolio basically every single day, every single week, every single month. When I see this buy signal flash, I take it into account. And often times I do end up buying as a result of it. And so because this was of course such a massive signal from Micron and because this is of course a signal that I personally use, what I wanted to do for you all in today's video is just break everything down for you. We're first and foremost going to talk about what this signal was. Then we're going to go through the history and show you kind of what has happened historically when this signal has flashed. We'll talk about whether or not that means that Micron's price is about to try to pump sometimes in the future, maybe over the next few weeks, and exactly what I'm doing in my own portfolio as a result of this signal flashing. So, we have a good bit to get into today, folks, and I don't want to keep you too long on a Friday evening. So, let's go ahead and let's jump straight on in. So, first and foremost, what was this signal that flashed for Micron? This big old buy signal that I use all the time. Well, the signal that we're going to be talking about today came from the Hill Conviction Index or the HCI, which of course you can find in the TH toolkit. Now, if you've never seen me use the HCI before when I'm doing technical analysis, it's actually pretty simple. So, what it is is it's a meter. As you can see, it goes from bright red to bright green, and you're going to see a zero that counts up to plus 5 and down to minus5. So what happens is that as the price of a stock, let's use Micron for example, goes up and down and up and down, this meter is going to go up and down and up and down following the price. And what it's doing is as the price is moving, it's measuring all of that stock's indicators to try to determine whether or not that stock is getting too high, which is the red zone, or too low, which is the green zone. Now, the actual signal itself, the buy or sell signal, happens once that meter crosses the four level. So let's say hypothetically you see a stock pumping, pumping, pumping. And this meter goes up up up up and crosses the four level. That's your sell signal. That means based on its indicators, it is getting really high, probably considered to be too high and is probably going to pull back sometime soon. Or on the flip side, if you see a stock dumping, dumping, dumping, and this meter comes all the way down and crosses below the four level, that's your buy signal. That's the signal that says, hey, based on history and based on how these indicators operate, this thing is getting very low and could easily start to pump back towards the upside sometime soon. So, when you're looking at the HCI, you're always watching to see if it crosses that plus4 level or that minus4 level. And personally in my portfolio, if I see the plus4 or minus4 level get crossed, that's when I'll make some moves. That's when I'll buy or that's when I sell. So with that in mind, if we look at Micron, what you can see is that Micron's HCI actually just crossed the minus4 level on the daily chart. Now the daily chart is a very important one because this isn't one that moves very easily. No, it takes multiple days for this meter to move. And so the fact that we saw Micron's daily HCI fall below that minus4 level means that Micron is officially now considered to be a buy based on the Hill Conviction Index. And if we go look at historically what has happened when Micron has crossed into this buy territory based on the HCI, it's honestly done pretty well. So the last time that we saw this happened was back at the end of March and the beginning of April. And what you can see is that in real time it started falling falling falling and it ended up falling into the minus4 territory right here in this red candle. And sure enough, it went down a little bit lower, ultimately started to reverse off of that $300ish dollar level and pumped all the way up to around 1,250 bucks. If you go back to the time before that, you can see it happened right at this red candle right here, right about there. And what ended up happening was that Micron continued a bit lower, ended up bottoming around $192, and went into that beautiful rally all the way to around $450. In the time before that, we saw Micron's price right around this area right here. the first time around $109. It got a nice little pump, pulled back one more time, and then ultimately started rallying all the way to around 250 bucks. So that was last year around this time. So basically in the last 12 months, there's only been three major moments that we've seen Micron's price come back down and interact with the minus4 or lower level on the HCI. Every single time that it has happened, Micron has seen some sort of pump soon thereafter. And so although it obviously doesn't guarantee that Micron's price is about to pump right now, it does go to show that this correction that we're in right now is getting so substantial that Micron bouncing sometime soon could be a reasonable thing to happen. Now, there is a caveat though, okay? There is something that is worth noting. Over the last 12 months, Micron has been in a fullblown parabolic run fueled by the AI trade taking off. Right? Ever since April of 2025, AI stocks have gone absolutely parabolic. And some people believe that the AI trade is over. Some people believe that all of these parabolic gains that we were previously seeing from AI are behind us and that they're not going to happen again in the future. And if those people are correct, this pullback that we're in right now could get substantially worse. It could be much more dramatic than we saw here, then we saw here, and then we saw here. instead of some sort of correction, it could be a fullblown crash. And so again, if that is the case, this meter going off right now is a good sign that Micron is correcting, but it could still have a lot lower to go if the AI trade is over. If the AI trade is not over though, and we do believe that AI is still going to try to continue in an upwards direction, this could be the signal that says, hey, we're getting to very similar levels as we did back here, back here, and back here, right before we saw Micron's price start bouncing back to the top side. And so my personal belief is that due to this signal, I think we are entering into a pretty pretty decent time to buy for Micron. Now, I personally wouldn't be going all in, right? I I would never say that because let me make one thing clear. There is no signal on Earth that is perfectly right. There is no signal on Earth that every single time it tells you exactly where the bottom is and where the top is. That just doesn't exist. And so this one could be wrong. Micron literally could just go whoop all the way to the downside. And something to consider is that if you go to the weekly HCI, it's still at plus two. So it's not even back in the bullish territory quite yet. And so if this is going to be some sort of fullblown stock crash, I'm talking Micron AI memory stock crash and we're going to see Micron coming back towards $500 to $400, this may not be the best time to go all in. So I would not be going personally allin right now. But if I'm somebody who's looking to start getting my dollar cost average going, maybe I bought Micron around a,000 bucks and now I'm negative and I want to start lowering my average cost. Yeah, based on the Hill Conviction Index, this would be a decent time to start adding to those Micron bags. So, I'll of course keep you all updated as this does play out, but I wanted to show you this because while everybody else is freaking out, screaming, calling it the end of Micron, saying that Micron's going down to 400 bucks. I'm looking at this thinking, yeah, it's possible, right? Micron can continue this move downward. So, you do want to prepare for that. But the reality is that at least in the short to midterm, Micron's showing some great signs that it might get a little bit of relief to this pullback. maybe even sometime as soon as next week. So, time will tell. And again, don't put all your eggs in one basket. That would not be a very good idea. Don't just start buying stuff just because one indicator says to, but it is worth taking into consideration. Micron's pulling back. That's down 33% from its all-time high, and it's so low now that buy signals are starting to flash. That definitely is something that's worth considering, especially whenever you're determining kind of the moves that you want to make. So, again, as I mentioned before, I'll keep you updated as this does play out. I will let you all know that the HCI is again a part of the um TH toolkit. This is a toolkit that I personally use and develop in order to basically just do my technical analysis for me. So if it's something that you want to use, you can download it and use it. If you head to the website, it will be down below. It's um yeah, it's going to be linked probably the first link in the description. So feel free to check that out if that's something that's interesting to you. Make sure to tune in to the live streams because on the live streams I always update you guys on what's going on with the Hill Conviction Index. There's also some pretty, you know, some other pretty cool tools that are available on the um the toolkit itself that tell, you know, where the buy levels are and where the sell levels are. So, make sure to tune into those live streams where we do a bit of a extra analysis. So, stay tuned for that. I'll keep you updated on what happens as this buy signal is now flashed going into next week. And yeah, I hope you guys enjoyed today's quick video. See you all in the next one.
