Another day's in the books, guys, and as you can imagine, man, it was another rocky day for the stock market. The indices went everywhere, so we have to break down the charts, what I'm doing, where my head's at, and a couple stocks I'm watching right now. So, guys, hit the like button, make sure to subscribe, join my Patreon if you want to keep up with my portfolio updates, my trades, investments, and if you want to be a part of my private Discord community, that's linked down below, pinned in the comments, or go to stosslerfast.com/patreon. And now, let's dive into it. And like I said, guys, it was another rocky day for stocks with the Qs leading the losses down about 1%. We had the S&P 500 actually up a quarter percent. You guys can see here, and the Russell roughly the same, up around a quarter percent as the Dow went up 1%, and the Dow right now, guys, after today's 500-point green day, is right at all-time highs. We're about what, 500 points away? If we have another day like today, guys, we're going to be at all-time highs on the Dow Jones as today the VIX went down 2 and 1/2%. And oil, Brent went down, let's see, about 4.6, and WTI crude oil went down over 4%, 4.2, and it's actually back under $80 per barrel. So, oil's been volatile for obvious reasons, guys. WTI hit about 67 a barrel. It got all the way to 93, and the fact now we're back in the 70s, and we have this temporary ceasefire, whatever you want to call it, right? That's a good sign, you know, for inflation, overall for rates, which we'll talk more about that tomorrow. We're getting a big Fed rate decision, so oil, WTI's back under 80, Brent is not quite there yet, it's at about 81 a barrel, uh, but it's come down a lot, man. This thing hit over a hundred a barrel back in what? The beginning of this week or the end of last week, we were at a hundred a barrel. So, the fact that we're at eighty right now, very good sign that it's coming down again for inflation. And this will put I guess the Fed more at ease when it comes to rates, you know, we're hearing some some rumors about a rate hike. I don't think we're going to get a rate hike, guys. Could you imagine Trump gets this new chairman in, Fed chairman Warsh, and you know, with the expectations that he'll ultimately cut rates. Could you imagine if he hiked rates tomorrow? That would be insane. I don't think that's coming. And the fact that we're seeing a great CPI, well, the last CPI was great. And the fact that oil's come down a lot, that's a good sign heading into tomorrow. But who knows, oil could spike up again for all we know, man, with everything going on in the Middle East. And at this point, it's just a waiting game. What do you guys think? Let me know down below. And you know, the AI stocks today led the losses. We had Corning down over 12%. But I must say the the recovery rally was pretty strong. I think we hit a hundred fifteen dollars, one fourteen this morning. It was pure pain in Corning today, guys. And we did see a nice relief rally up to about one twenty six, not too bad. We recovered around 10% on that rally, but we still had a 12% red day today. Corning just got destroyed. Stocks like Coherent, same thing, down over 10%. This thing hit 228 earlier in the morning, and it closed at 243. So, think about this, man. This stock was down 15% on the day. Plays like Nabors, forget about it, got destroyed. This thing hit 160, which means it pretty much cut in half from all time highs. Not exactly a 50% drop, but pretty dang close, guys. Stocks like Micron had a 9% red day, ARM Holdings 8%, Lam Research is pretty much back to where I originally bought it, down 7 and 1/2 percent. Even Palantir got hit today, guys, which this started to move yesterday with a lot of these software names, and it ended up being a pump fake, a fake out rally, a bull trap, whatever you want to call it, and now Palantir is back under $125 per share as stocks like Robinhood took a crap today. The space stocks, you name it, some fintech names, which by the way, SoFi's got earnings tomorrow. Go check out my video from earlier regarding SoFi. We go over the numbers, the charts, what I'm expecting, and so forth. Go check that out, guys. And yeah, what a day in the markets, man. What a freaking day. You all probably saw my earlier video today before the SoFi one. I added some NEE today. And I'm looking to add even more of this stock here moving forward, NextEra Energy and Bloom Energy, by the way, we might as well talk about this and then dive deeper into a particular stock I'm watching that's in the AI surveillance space. Pay attention to that, guys. Bloom Energy reported, and you guys know this stock pretty much got cut in half heading into the print, and the stock's now popping in the after market. We're up to $185 a share after closing where at 167. So, the stock went down 11% on the day, but now we're up 10% in the after market, pretty much recovering. All that is really is us recovering the losses from earlier today, guys. And we can see here, well, I don't know if you guys can see it. Maybe if I drag my big old head down here, you guys can see they reported earnings per share of, let's see here, where is it at? Earnings per share adjusted of 78 cents, which beat the 40 cent expectation. Very strong beat. They pretty much doubled the estimate, right, guys? And looking at revenue, that came in at 1.08 or 1.07 billion dollars. Pretty close, right? Versus the 822 million dollar estimate. So, very strong double beat out of Bloom Energy. And Bloom's guidance, guys, is very strong. They actually raised their full year adjusted EPS guidance for the entire year 20 26. They raised it from a dollar 85 to 2 dollars 25 cents to now 2 dollars and 55 cents to 2 dollars 85 cents versus the 2 dollars 15 cents expected. And they raised their full year 26 sales guidance from 3.4 to 3.8 to now 3.9 to 4.2 billion dollars versus 3.72 billion expected. So, guys, very strong double beat and they raised their guidance for the full year EPS adjusted and revenue. What more could you ask for, right? Especially when the stock's down 50% into earnings. This is a great way to to remind investors, you know, they're doing very well. And we talked about in a previous video, you know, why the stock sold off, the scandium claims, China, blah blah blah, the short report, CNBC. We're not going to dive deeper into that in this video. But, this is a great way to kind of quiet the noise in the short term. And by no means is Bloom fully breaking out again, but this is a great step towards that. What do you guys think? And with all that being said, guys, let's dive deeper into this company I've been watching, Iveda Solutions, trading under ticker IVDA on the Nasdaq. This company, guys, well, is a publicly traded AI and smart city technology company that, well, people are not really paying attention to. When people think about AI, what do they think of, right guys? They immediately think about chatbots, semiconductors, right? Data centers, memory, you name it. And one area that could see signific- uh significant adoption, AI adoption, is AI-powered video surveillance and smart city infrastructure. And we all know AI is going to be in the physical form. It's already in the physical form, and that's only going to accelerate here as time goes on. Cities, businesses, and public safety departments already have enormous networks of cameras installed. The problem is, and this is the problem that Avida's looking to solve, the problem is that most of these cameras are still relatively passive. They record footage, but somebody may not review that footage until after an incident has already occurred. And Avida is working to turn those cameras, those existing cameras, into intelligent real-time monitoring systems without actually having to rip out all the cameras and start over. And its primary platform, which is Avida AI, you guys see right here, can analyze live video, search recorded footage, and alert organizations when it detects certain objects, behaviors, or potentially dangerous situations. One of the most interesting parts of this technology is that customers may not have to replace, again, their entire camera infrastructure. Avida AI is actually designed to add intelligence to many existing surveillance systems, which could make deployment faster and potentially more cost-effective for cities and, of course, commercial customers. And they recently introduced a zero-shot AI detection capability, which allows users to describe what they want the system to detect using a single simple text prompt, right? And for example, a retailer could ask the platform to monitor for a specific type of suspicious behavior, right? And a factory could use it to identify potential safety violations as a city could create a customized detection model for a particular public safety concern. And instead of spending months gathering data and training a completely new AI model, users can potentially create customized detection capabilities within seconds. And another key market they're targeting, which only makes sense, right guys? Is traffic management. They recently launched a new module that can transform existing intersection cameras into sources of real-time traffic intelligence, and the platform is designed to monitor traffic conditions, identify safety issues, and help cities make better decisions regarding congestion, and of course, road management. And according to the company, they're currently engaging with multiple American cities and transportation agencies regarding potential pilot deployments in 2026. And if Avida can successfully convert those pilot discussions into meaningful commercial contracts, right? Traffic management could become another important revenue opportunity for the company. And another big market is elderly care. Avida care uses ambient sensors and AI to monitor the well-being of seniors living independently or inside senior care facilities, right? And it's recently launched Sleep Sense technology can track information such as heart rate, respiratory rate, sleep patterns, and nighttime movement. What stands out is that the system does not require cameras or actually wearable devices. So, I'm excited about the markets that Iveda is trying to penetrate at this point. And again, we're seeing chatbots, LLMs, which is awesome, but people don't realize that AI is going to transform, it already is, into the physical world with, you know, security cameras. You're going to see it, robotics, humanoid robots. You know what I mean, guys? And and it's only going to accelerate. So, make sure you add Iveda Solutions, ticker IVDA on the Nasdaq, onto your watchlist. And full disclosure, guys, I'm not a financial advisor. This part of the video was disseminated on behalf of Iveda, and I currently own zero shares of the stock. Please do your own research, guys, as always. And yeah, that's pretty much it for the video. Balloons popping, stocks are all over the place. Earning season's just getting started, man. And I'm excited. Hit the like button. Make sure to subscribe.
