A major drop happened on Bitcoin over the last 24 hours. And in today's video, I'm going to share with you exactly what caused this drop and where I believe Bitcoin is going to be going next. I'm also going to be sharing with you a trade that I went into this morning and showing you where you can get more information on that trade and why it is still active right now. We've got a lot to cover, so without much further ado, let's go ahead and dive right on into it. Bitcoin is currently trading at $83,477. And this follows a major uptrend that Bitcoin has witnessed off of the July low at $58,000. Bitcoin has gone through a very clear Elliot wave 1 2 3 4 5 impulse pattern. And over the last 24 hours, Bitcoin has witnessed a very sizable corrective movement. This came predominantly as a result of a large long liquidation that took place yesterday around 9:00 p.m. where $295 million worth of shorts were liquidated. In grand total, about $500 million worth of shorts were liquidated yesterday. And that is most likely as a result of the fact that as Bitcoin has become extremely bullish over the last 90 days, people have become extremely confident in its uptrend and have gone into longs that were perhaps not the best setup. I think what happened is that a lot of people went into longs right here beneath the local high at $87,500 and they kind of just expected for the market to continue moving to the upside. I think many people were trading this uptrend right here and had their long liquidation right beneath this expecting us to break to the upside and then of course because they didn't use their stop losses the way they should they ended up getting stopped out. So with this uptrend being broken, this has caused a new downtrend and that's where Bitcoin has actually gone through this long liquidation. It doesn't seem like there's a very serious big news event that necessarily caused this movement to the downside. Of course, it's human nature to try and find a reason behind everything, but the main thing that seems to have taken place is that those longs got liquidated as we talked about. What I anticipate to happen now is that Bitcoin seems to be attempting to put some kind of short-term bounce in motion. And this is something that we talked about on the Discord uh all morning. In fact, we're in a trade right now. You can kind of see that trade u mapped out right here. We're talking about that a lot in the Discord server. In fact, there's probably going to be another entry coming into this trade very soon that will be breaking down in the Discord server. But nevertheless, I do believe that what is happening with Bitcoin right now is that we're most likely going to see somewhat of a bounce moving over into the next few days. And I think this uptrend is one that is very much tradable based on our trading system. But I also believe that Bitcoin has a real possibility of turning this entire movement into one large downtrend in the longer term time frames. What could end up happening right here is something like this where Bitcoin comes back down, has a Bwave to the upside. This Bwave on the shorter term time frames is what we are longing right now and then having a C-wave that could actually cause Bitcoin to drop back to the downside quite substantially. You can see that Bitcoin is currently finding support above this May the 6th high over here at $82,833. But Bitcoin is probably going to rally up here towards around $84 to $85,000. Then most likely fall over and violate that level on the ABC. This would be the Awave, then the Bwave, then the C-wave, which would be a little bit easier to see something like this if we have an A B C, something like that. So, I think that Bitcoin is probably looking at a medium-term bearish bias over the next few weeks. But I also believe that for today and possibly into tonight and moving on into tomorrow, there is the opportunity for a short-term long trade setup, which is exactly what we are in. We almost we absolutely must always remember that long-term Bitcoin is an incredible investment opportunity, but we also want to make sure that we're leveraging our ability to do analysis to understand when the best times to trade and invest are.
