PLTR, Core Weave. I talked about possibly even SpaceX with overbought reversal setups that would I would love to potentially short as a swing trade.

Good morning, good morning. What's going on, guys? It's Ricky here with a super quick market update. So, Nasdaq market looks to be a little conflicted with today's retail sales report. Initially, it responded in quite a positive way. I mean, markets opened slightly in the green, and now kind of teeter-tottering in that break-even. Currently, only up 0.1%, but remember, markets have had an incredible week. S&P 500 is currently trading at all-time highs, and today is Friday. Could markets just rally because they want to end the week strong? Of course, right? They're rational. They're bullish. They're elevated. Do not fight the trend if you see that it remains incredibly rational. With that being said, as of right now, we're testing an oversold range on the Nasdaq market. We'll see if we actually break that support and actually begin to, as what it looks like it's doing right now, bleed into the uh red. With that being said, in today's live trading session with my LPPT team, we ended up taking the total of two trades. Micron is still one of the current trades that I have. It hasn't been super favorable. Uh I'm up 16 to $1,700 on the day so far, but it's still an open position, which means that it's still open to risk. Coreweave was the most efficient trade. It gapped up, became overbought, one of my favorite setups. That's my personal uh preference. Overbought reversal, opened up a short, only added more to it when direction became favorable. Direction became very favorable very quick, and then I just began to take profits at the pre-market support range. Very simple, very straightforward. It wasn't a home run of a trade. Uh but in today's live session, I think I was up like $2,300 on this trade, and it happened in a matter of 10 minutes. Again, a great example of some days, right, you're really fighting the market. There's a lot of consolidation, a lot of change of direction. And other days, direction is just in your favor, and you work with it instead of trying to fight it. So, a great reminder that it's better to focus on quality setups that you prefer versus trying to force a trade every day. And I think today is a really good example of that. I did reopen as it broke the support at 105. I did reopen a small short with about 700 shares. So, that's why I'm up now $3,000 on this specific trade. So, this is technically a quite oversold range for Coreweave. It hasn't really broken below the 100s lately after it reported earnings and gapped up. But, if it does begin to break below 100, then we do have a huge gap down. But, that's a conversation for another time. Remember, shorting comes at a greater form of risk. It's not meant for beginners. We do cover how to short in our LPP lesson library. And even if you want to watch today's live trading session, I'd love for some of you beginners to kind of get a taste of what they experience. You can message me on Instagram right now. It's linked in the description. Message me that you want to watch today's live session. You've never watched LPP live sessions before. And that, you know, you're thinking about joining, but you want to watch it first. I'd love to send it to you. It's about a 30-35 minute session from start to finish. You'll get to see that Coreweave trade. So, even before you join LPP, you'll be able to experience exactly what it's like. The thing that I quickly want to talk about is although markets have been quite elevated, the thing that we experienced today is that the retail sales report came out. And it came out worse than what was expected. We expected retail sales to show signs of growth, but we actually saw contraction. Ricky, why is bad news good news? Why is a report that comes out worse than what was expected actually good news for the market? Well, again, you want to remember we do not want the Federal Reserve or the stock market does not want the the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates. And if consumers are overspending and you know, splurging, right? Growing our economy, they could justify raising interest rates. But, if they're already seeing that, "Hey, consumers or retail is already struggling." Maybe this doesn't support a rate hike to contract and to slow down the economy even more. Does that make sense? So, it's not that the stock market is celebrating, yes, consumers are spending less. No, no, no. It's how the Federal Reserve will most likely see it. By consumers spending less, that's shows already a slowdown. That doesn't support rate hikes cuz that would slow down the economy even further. Now, it doesn't mean that they can't raise interest rates, it just doesn't support the idea, right? So, the Fed rate monitor tool is a tool that you can look up and most likely because of this report, now the probability for a rate pause is more likely than it was before this report came out. So, again, I just wanted you to understand the sentiment behind that. Um and then the Michigan consumer sentiment report came in a little bit lower than what was expected, but I believe most of the market will be focused on that retail sales report. So, I'll continue to do my part in keeping you guys up today. As of right now, I'm actually quite surprised. The Nasdaq market is finally pulling on back and again, I said this all week. Markets have been elevated. They can remain elevated. They're still bullish. They're above the EMA, above the moving average. They are approaching overbought levels based off previous patterns, common resistance ranges, but we don't have confirmation of a sell-off. So, again, there are a few stocks. I talked about it, PLTR, Core Weave. I talked about possibly even SpaceX with overbought reversal setups that would I would love to potentially short as a swing trade. But, as long as markets remain bullish, there's just no reason to enter a swing trade when shorting those individual stocks if overall market environment is bullish. So, again, when in doubt, it's better just to be cash and wait for confirmation instead of forcing a swing trade, which means holding overnight, over the weekend, and then end up regretting it as markets continue to creep up higher. >> [screaming and crying] >> Stay patient, stay calculated, allow the bulls to make their money, and then we'll come on in to strike once the opportunity is confirmed, right? We're all here for the same reason, it's to make money. Let's not forget about it. So, appreciate you guys' time. Again, you want to message me to watch today's live session, just message me via Instagram. It's going to be linked down below. If you're ready to join LPP right now, it's the second link in the description down below. I appreciate you guys' time. Hope that one a thumbs up. Hope and wish you guys an amazing Friday. And like always, let's make sure that we end the year on a great note. Take care, team.
