Robin Hood. Let's talk about Robin Hood, guys, because Robin Hood's giving me some interesting vibes right now. You know, it gives you those early vibes, Robin Hood. Now, people are like, "Ah, you know, it's like buying Salon at $8 or something." Yeah, maybe. I think there's a lot of opportunities on Robin Hood chain right now. And I'm also want to give the bare case on Robin Hood, too, because I think that's important. So, if you missed Salon at $8, maybe this is your second chance. You probably still think about it if you missed Salon at $8. I know I do, right? Certainly didn't get $8 salon. I should have didn't anyway. say Levite even had a chance to buy at 50 cents back in 2020. I remember looking at it and like I don't know new a new blockchain whoop-dedoo right then after the 2022 8 move it ripped 30x everyone fading once again now it's become kind of more consensus and you know let's say a quote unquote safer investment but it wasn't just Salana the ecosystem tokens went nuclear 2 radium exploded for example right and the people who made life-changing money weren't the ones who bought after everyone agreed they were the ones who bought when it felt kind of stupid kind of contrarian and I think right now that's kind of where Robin Hood is it does feel a bit contrarian and there's also so there's the contrarian bet thesis but also the maybe the contrarian bets the wrong thesis and it's a terrible place to put your money anyway Robin Hood chain so numbers first this is not vaporware okay right now there's about a billion dollars in DeFi on Robin Hood there's another billion dollars in stable coins a quarter billion dollars in real world assets which is you know stocks on chain 400,000 daily active addresses $ 1.5 billion in daily volume all these numbers are down versus the peak from a few weeks ago, okay? But that activity even today is simply too big to ignore. The chain has already passed the product to market fit test for traders and has already cut a lot of older blockchains to a disgusting degree and it still feels pretty early. So the question is whether Robin Hood chain is going to continue to be a thing. I mean, it clearly is a thing right now, but will it have staying power? And if it does, how do you make money? Because can't buy there's no Robin Hood token to buy. And that's where things get tricky. Now, the lazy play probably just go and buy Robin Hood stock. I own Robin Hood stock, by the way. There's a case for that. But buying Robin Hood to bet on Robin Hood chain is kind of like buying Ethereum to bet on the broader Ethereum ecosystem. I mean, yeah, technically you are, but I mean, it's not that clear. The kind of the thousand mile view and it works, but it's kind of boring and it won't really give you that sort of Salana $8 vibe returns, right? A smarter version of that idea might be to buy unis swap. Now, stay with me because this is kind of surprising. UniS swap right now is doing about 85% of all Robin Hood chain volume over the last 30 days. And Robin Hood chain now accounts for roughly 40 to 50% of unis swap's total volume across every chain depending on the time window. So that's some pretty crazy numbers. It's a big deal especially because the revenue switch has been turned on. There's now revenue sharing. Unis swap is a much more attractive coin than it used to be and it's still significantly under its all-time highs by about 75%. Now, if you want Robin Hood exposure without betting on a random micro cap, maybe UNI is one of the cleanest ways to actually do it beyond buying Ether Robin Hood. It's got the more it's the safer upside play. Higher return, not such high risk. But you didn't click this video to hear about unis swap. Okay, you want the native play. So, let's talk about the only clear winning protocol in Robin Hood chain right now, and that's Pawns Ps. I own that, by the way. Pawns is already worth uh hundreds of millions of dollars, and almost nobody believes it can go the distance. Nobody believes it can maintain the revenue that drive its buybacks. Right now, somewhere between 56 and 70% of protocol revenue goes to buybacks. I think the stated targets about 80%. But anyway, that's the kind of tokconomics that print when the volume is flowing. But here's the ugly part. We can't hide that. Okay? You have to be honest about your investments. This is something I hold. You have to be honest about it. Otherwise, what the heck are you doing? You're not investing. You're hoping. Hope is not a strategy. Okay? Revenues down over 90% from its all-time highs. Those highs were just a few weeks ago, by the way. Less revenue means fewer buybacks. So why am I still holding my bag? Well, because I think the market is right now crossing the chasm of disillusionment, not just with pawns, but with the entire Robin Hood chain right now. And if the Robin Hood chain pops back, which I think is pretty good chance there will, then pawn sits right at the center of that. Now, the revenue drop, I don't think it's a heat death for ponds. It might actually be an opportunity. Price has been kind of forming a bit of round a bottom over the last few weeks. Maybe that's exactly what it needed. The bottoms always kind of feel like that. It feels like it's going to be the end, like it's never going to pop back and it's just going to go down after this and everyone who's buying right now is an idiot. It's usually the case. Anyway, beyond pawns, the honestly the picture on Robin Hood gets pretty murky. So, let's walk through some what's out there and I'll give you the contrarian case that might make you want to stay away from Robin Hood chain completely. Now, you do have some early movers things like index, which is a reflection token that pays holders back in stocks. And it's an interesting idea, but reflection tokens have a pretty uncertain license. has got like a 3% tax on every trade. So, how much do people put up with that [ __ ] I don't know. The economic model I think long term remains pretty iffy in my opinion. Then there's a strategy of course the big players are all talking about and that's tokenized stocks. You have 247 Nvidia and you know SpaceX and Tesla as ER as tokens that you can just you know buy in unis swap. Cool. The official narrative is you know SEC is given an innovation exemption. Cool man that's great. The consensus view is that of course memes bootstrap liquidity, but RWA is the destination and I get that and I'm bullish on adoption, but I don't need to [ __ ] buy Tesla on my [ __ ] wallet. But it's not even necessarily a good idea if your wal gets hacked. Buy Tesla stocks whereas you can buy it on a brokerage and it's going to be exponentially safer. Buying Tesla on chain also is not like buying salon at eight bucks, is it? It just isn't. Tesla's what a one and a half trillion dollar company. I'm sorry. like, you know, I I own Tesla stock in my brokerage account. I would don't think I'd even buy it on chain. Okay, you're just buying Tesla. So, you're bullish on the chain, but what the [ __ ] do you actually buy? Well, that's where low caps come in because basically everything on Robin Hood right now is a low cap, right? And there's a lot of very small market cap coins launching with some kind of utility pitch. Most of it's going to end up being [ __ ] I'm going to share a few names. Definitely not an ape list, okay? Just talk tell you guys about some stuff's going on out here. There's a coin called Note N. It's taking on sort of like the stock insurance game. There's a TLDDR of it. Uh you have Orio. They're building an AI marketplace. I mean, these things, these guys have like a [ __ ] ton to prove. And even their current valuations are probably optimistic. Okay, just FYI. But if Robin Hood chain pops, today's valuations on some of these coins like those or a few dozen others could look very cheap in hindsight. Or they go to zero. That's the game. Obviously, we have memes. Pure memes. There's cash cat. It's a picture of a cat. That's literally it. Is that going to be worth a billion dollars someday? Maybe. Then we have these paired coins. There's like boner, you know, like the thing, right? Boner, right? So that's paired against him stocks. So people are floating the idea that enough onchain pressure could actually squeeze the real world off-chain version of the stock. Currently, it's doing about 2% of the volume onchain compared to the 98% of volume on Wall Street, which is pretty impressive actually. You have artificial enu as paired against Nvidia stocks. And uh look to be crystal clear because people get confused about this. If you own boner or artificial enu or one of the other hundreds of coins, you do not get any claim to the underlying stocks that these guys end up holding. It's all narrative. Trade it like narrative. Now, here's the part that most Robin Hood chain bulls of course don't really want to hear. And I think you have to be honest about this part because it's something I've thought about, too. I mean, I think the Robinood chain vibes are much better than Bass, but this could just end up being another corporate chain like Bass. It does fine. It doesn't die, but Salana stays the GOAT. Nobody touches it dominance. Right now, while you're watching this, thousands of traders are already in on Bit Unix trading crypto. They're trading metals. They're trading oil. They have 28 million Robin Hood funded accounts and a built-in wallet. But Coinbase also had similar numbers for users that they were supposed to come on chain. Most of them never did. Most of them stayed on the centralized exchange. Look, Bass proved the fintech layer 2 template. Robin Hood is supposed to be the next one. So, if even a slice of the brokerage flow lands on chain, TVL and stock token assets under management have a long way to run. But everyone said the exact same thing about Bass. And look where it is now. No one's even really talking about BAS that much anymore. And I'm not saying they won't be. I think base comes back. I mean, fading base completely seems like a silly proposition, but it sure as heck is not the hot thing right now. So, here's what really matters. The users on Robin Hood chain are not Robin Hood users for the most part part. Okay. Multiple reports put flow from the actual Robin Hood app at around 1 to 2% of the chain activity. One to two%. Okay. Most of the money on Robin Hood chain cryptonative dgens that have been around. Okay. Okay, the same Dens who already live on base, who already live on Salana, who already live on Ethereum, they came over to Robin Hood chain cuz that was a place to make money. The onboarding process of the 28 million Robin Hood users, even a fraction of them. It's going to take a while, man. Plus, we had a free gas window, 90-day free gas window, which is as of well September 29th, done. So, a big chunk of the, you know, 9 million daily transactions and launchpad fees happen when the chain cost literally nothing to use. So if daily activives and pawns revenue keeps sliding from here all those you know salana week 11 comparisons or not it's just another corporate chain like base that will do okay and we'll get users and stuff will happen over there money to be made but it's not going to be this sort of you know economic paradise of making fortunes. So Robin Hood chain right now people want to say it's a very very clear picture but it's kind of in a weird spot actually. It launched. Everybody got pumped. Some people made a [ __ ] ton of money almost overnight. Now we're going through the chasm of dissolution. It has to prove, can it go the distance? Can it be more than base? Can it deliver real value? Can it actually bring over Robin Hood app users and bring in new users that aren't even on chain yet from not on Robin Hood yet and keep people sticky once the free stuff is gone? So, if you believe that happens, there are some real bargains in the ecosystem right now. some really low cap stuff that probably has 100x potential. Let's say at least 10x and some of the stuff, but I think it becomes just a lame corporate chain that does okay but never great. The initial enthusiasm once it wor everybody had the honey. It's like dating, you know, getting that getting that new girlfriend. You date her for a few weeks like this is amazing and then a few weeks later you're like this kind of sucks. What am I doing here? Put my pants on, get out of here. Anyway, for what it's worth, most of my money is still on Solana, still in Bitcoin, stuff like that. But I am holding some Robin Hood chain coins. I've got Cash Cat, I've got Pawns, and I've got Wallet. They varying levels of speculation. And I don't sure I'm don't sure I'm not sure how much I'm how long I'm going to hold any of these positions, okay? And it's not financial advice. Do not go ape [ __ ] just because I bought it, okay? It's just what my bags are right now. Anyway, what do you guys think? Will Robin Hood chain be the next Salana or is it more like the next, you know, corporate chain like Bass? Let me know your thoughts, but that's sort of my feeling on Robin Hood right now. Real quick, 100,000 traders already open up this newsletter before the market opens. Are you one of them?
