Hey, hey. What's up, good people? How you doing? Welcome back to Stock Up with Larry Jones. Let's get it in there. Bam. Listen, uh, I'm buying some stock right now. One of them is ticker symbol SMCI. SMCI. I'm buying that. And I'm buying some ETFs. One of those is QQQ right out of the gate. When are you buying, Larry? I'm buying right now. I'm buying these right now. I just wanted you guys to know that you could uh um do what you do. Anything I say is not a suggestion for you to buy, hold, or sell. We're going to get into why the market is falling and it could fall more tomorrow. Why? Because today we had CPI and tomorrow we will have a PPI coming out tomorrow. consumer price index today which showed that inflation is still going up which means that the Fed is now even more likely to raise interest rates and then tomorrow we got to see an hour before the market opens we have to see what's going to happen right we're going to see are the producers getting hit also with high inflation so we have some things like the Putin oil deal with the US which is proven now that it will not lower uh cost. It won't lower cost and that's what they are saying. I'm reporting the news. Okay. So let's look at some uh bullet points. As a matter of fact, let's go here and why is the market falling today? Inflation ran hot. All right. Uh price up prices up 3.7% versus a year ago above the 3.6%. 6% expected. Okay, so we have a point higher, right? And then gas prices drove overall uh over half the jump. Gas prices actually boosted. Okay. But core prices rose also. All right. Now, odds are this month jumped to about 47% from 22%. So there was a 22% chance that the Fed may uh raise interest rates and now that jumped to 47% and of course we have what? High bond yields. Okay guys, you guys know higher bonds, lower stocks. Okay, that's what's going on. So now let's dig into what some of the news stories and I'm just going to read this right along with you. I just piped things up and ran to the desk. Okay. So, why the deal may not lower gas prices. Talking about the gas deal that uh the president made with Russia, right? You could see here. All right. Market skepticism. Say that word three times. The promised initial shipments included roughly 300,000 tons to about 2.2 million barrels initially. All right. cover only a small fraction of the US demand. So this is what is going on. They're saying it's a small fraction compared to what we do and what we need. Even the total uh uh announced volume 35.8 million barrels would supply less than 10 days of domestic demand. So we're talking about this entire deal, they're talking about less than 10 days of entire demand. So that is weighing heavy on the market. This is not about politics, blah blah blah blah blah. I'm reporting the news, okay? And so this is about what is moving the market. Whether you like it or not, it's moving the market. Okay? So what happened on CPI? Key numbers of September 2026. Headline CPI. All right. Rolls 0.6 for the month seasonally adjusted and 3.7 over the past year. We just went over that. Okay. Core CPI less food and energy rose 0.3% for the month and 2.6% yearover-year. And then you could see energy prices surged 5.2% 2% in September and are up 20.4% over last year. Gasoline prices jumped 9.1%. And then you could see groceries here, right? So you you guys get it. Inflation, inflation, inflation. And we don't know what PPI is going to bring for us tomorrow, right? We know what's happening with the consumer. Now we need to find out what's happening with the producer. Things have to be produced first before they are consumed. Okay. So that's what we want to look at guys. That is going to be the news. What are we going to look at now? What is Larry buying? What am I buying? Okay. That's what I want to dive into a little bit. For all of those in money moves, if you're watching this, you better go over to Money Moves because I have been wearing that buy button out. I'm just going to go over a few of them with you here. And now, we didn't load the boat. We saved some dry powder. These are some of the things we dipped into as the market fell. Let's go to a hot one. I brought to you guys, ticker symbol STRL, right? And I brought it to you guys and it it started to run again. And I said, "Listen, I'm not going to buy it right now." And you guys are going, "But it's running. It's running. Why aren't we buying?" Listen, you got to stop. You got to stop. Good people. I care about you and your money. You got to think about the opposite. Your question should be when is it going to come back down? Is it running too fast right now? Okay. And the answer to that is yes. Okay, so now we're down to 447, down 10% today. Yeah, it ran up, but over the last five days, we're still down 14%. Over the last month is when I brought it to you, we are down 5%. Okay, we are actually down 5%. Let's go year to date. Let's see. We're still up 46% year to date, but that was a big run. But over the last month, we are down. And I know somebody bought it at 563. So what did I talk about in money moves? I talked about fractional shares. I showed people that don't know how to buy fractional shares to limit your position size and buy fractional shares and wait for days like these. And even on a day like today, of course, fear will take over the market and drive the market down more than it should fall. But you have to understand it's your purchase price, especially if you're in it long. This is going to be a long position for me as it pertains to AI. And then let me show you. I shared with you guys SMCI. I'm not even going to go over that right now. I'm just going to go over a few ETFs that I've been talking about for a while. Now, in the comment section, I want you to put in the ETF that you like. There is no one-sizefitit all. You may have a new ETF. You may like the popular ETFs that everybody's talking about. I forget the other one. SHD, all of that. Whatever your ETF is, whether it's V or VTI, uh uh whatever your ETF is, just know that it's time to consider looking at some ETFs. I bought I'm just sharing with you what I bought. Let's go right to it. Here I got QQQ, VUG, and GRNY. I've been buying these consistently like I've been bringing it to you guys, okay? Consistently buying them. Now, I buy these every Friday. I got it on set it and forget it where my broker actually buys these in very small amounts every Friday. But on days like today is when I kind of dip in, right? So look at this guys. You could see right now that they are down. They are down. See here, QQQ VUG Gr. You could see that, right? And you could see that for the day. Okay, they're down. 2.2% on QQQ. Well, here's where all of your tech lies. Okay, all your tech lies right here on QQQ. VUG 2.35 down. GRNY 2.45 down right now. I like these because I've been in them and they've paid. And yes, you can just have QQQ or you can have a QQQM. All right. Lower expense ratio. Okay. So, here's what I'm doing. I'm not suggesting to you, but I'm telling you I'm not spending all my money on a 2% drop. That's what I want to tell you guys. That's what I want to tell you guys. I'm not spending all of my money on a 2% job drop, but I am buying because if we have a green day and fear has grabbed the market and it's going down more than it should, then I still got in. Okay, so now um you guys know that there's some more ETFs, okay, that are uh AI or chip related ETFs. You guys know some of the usual suspects, okay? I am not going to chase some of those. Ticker symbol DR AM. Okay. And Drram. Now, I'm not dumping a lot of money in it right now. It's just too volatile for me. Okay. You may say, "I'm just going to load the boat." That's fine. Larry's not because I know that just one spook or one scare can send it down more, and I'm waiting on it to go down more. How about you?
