Ladies and gentlemen, first and foremost, welcome back to the channel. But secondly, I have a warning for all of you. Citadel, they are going to pump and dump the AI hardware trade and we're going to talk about this in this video. But there's a lot of other things going on as well. We had CPI today. We have this pre-midterm election volatility seasonal period that we're in right now. I think we need to talk about that. We still have earnings like Nvidia that are yet to come. A lot of other companies um that still need to report earnings. We have Iran and Trump shenanigans. We don't know kind of where that stands at this point. And of course, a lot of the markets are still fearful that Kevin Walsh is a hawk. And after we get through all of that, I don't want to just leave you with, "Oh my gosh, Citadel is gonna pump and dump you." I want to explain where the next AI trade is. Long before Wall Street is talking about it, there's four areas actually, so there's a lot of optionality in how you want to go about playing this. Number one's robotics. Number two is automation, which yes, they are different. Number three is AI software. are the companies that truly have massive benefits from AI adoption in the enterprise field which there's a ton of optionality there as well. And number four is cyber security. So we'll talk about that in this video as well. Ladies and gentlemen, the only thing that I ask you to do ever on this channel is to hit the like button for the YouTube algorithm so at least people have the opportunity to see this video and to benefit from it. So, first and foremost, when it comes to AI hardware stocks, two months ago, they were the talk of the town. FOMO like crazy. Leverage up the yin-yang. Okay, it was the only trade really in the market. So, everyone was chasing it. Everyone had leverage. Well, now we know that funds like the situ situational awareness fund blew up. I'm sure there's a lot more stress under the surface than what we're actually hearing about. And there's a there's a lot of different reasons for this, right? There's questions around sustainability of the capex trade and what these companies fundamentally are going to look like three years or five years from now, blah blah blah. But at the end of the day, when there is FOMO and there is exuberance and there is leverage around one particular trade, you never want to buy that trade. I don't care if SpaceX says, "Look, there's a meteor the size of a bus that is pure diamonds that we're going to capture in space and bring back worth trillions of dollars." I don't care how good the story sounds. Never, and I mean never, chase that. If you get in early before the news comes out, great. You're going to make a [ __ ] ton of money. But never chase FOMO ever. If you're not in it, accept that you missed out. Because when you have leverage and you have FOMO and you have overcrowding, once it once the bubble deflates, it never comes back. I asked Grock about this. I said, quote, "So AI hardware stocks received incredible FOMO recently. We have seen a huge wave of leverage and a lot of these stocks have declined massively from all-time highs. In my experience in the stock market, after a sector receives FOMO and that FOMO collapses, it typically does not come back again in the same way. Is that true? Well, Grock says after a sector experiences intense FOMO driven by leverage, narrative uh excess and rapid price spikes far beyond fundamentals, the same kind of pure specula speculative frenzy rarely returns in identical form anytime soon. The underlying trend or technology can and often does continue or even accelerate over the longer term. But the post collapse phase is typically different. More selective, lower multiples, consolidation among survivors, and less indiscriminate buying. As I've said on this channel for a while now, the the the AI hardware trade is done. I'm quite bullish on Qualcomm and Broadcom and Marll. But the whole trade as being a the dominant trade in the markets, those days are over with. And that brings us to the next point here. Citadel is in the process of pumping and dumping the stocks that they just bought at a discount. Keep in mind, Citadel is not a charity. Yesterday, they said, quote, "We believe systematic buyers are getting ready to load up on stocks again after a massive unwind." Hey, what happened today? Well, AI hardware stocks are green. People are chasing that, of course, as they always do. Here's the series of events that took place recently. Number one, Citadel. Before the last Fed meeting, they scared everyone into a rate hike that wouldn't happen. Number two, they crashed the AI trade and they picked up the best names at dirt cheap levels. And now they are pumping the AI trade again to benefit. Citadel, they're not a charity. They're trying to unwind these bags. They do not want to sit on them. Citadel knows exactly what I'm talking about in these videos. So, Citadel, what they're doing, they're pumping the trade up again to unwind the trade. They're not a charity. They didn't go out and buy situational awareness fund basically all of it to sit on it. No, they went out, bought it to pump it, and sell it. So, I think this is a massive misconception in the markets that is going to burn a lot of people, especially if you're still chasing AI hardware. Yes, some can do well. Are you going to make life-changing amounts of money in AI hardware? Absolutely not. But can some do well? And will some beat the S&P? Of course. But the days of the AI hardware trade, you know, going up every day or doubling in a month or two, like those days are long behind us. And we are actually in a gray period right now. And I've explained this on the channel for a while now. And I'll explain it again here briefly in this video just so I don't gate keep this information from you. I want everyone to benefit from this as much as possible. But think about a literal timeline, right, of 30 years, the AI hardware trade. They're the first winners. They've they've won. They've benefited. Okay? Some will continue to benefit. Some will go bankrupt. Some will fail, whatever, right? Just as any other business cycle does. Well, when you transition into a new phase of a longer term trade, it doesn't typically happen overnight. And right now, we're in this transition period from AI hardware leading the markets into a new AI trade. But via the war with Iran, the new Fed chair, the midterms, concerns around rate hikes, we are in this gray period. There's a lot of hesitancy by Wall Street right now. Now, the ear the the smart funds, their positioning for this, and we've seen a lot of these stocks that I'm going to talk about actually do well recently because of early positioners, but the FOMO's not here. These stocks are not even really being talked about right now because we're in this gray period. By the time Wall Street's talking about them and they're the talk of the town on CNBC, you want to stay away from them. Okay? So I think we're still very early in this. There's four key themes. Now, after this hardware pump and dump that Citadel is largely manufacturing right now, you're going to see a lot of money plow into this new AI trade. It's going to be slow at first, probably will not accelerate meaningfully until after the midterms. After the midterms, hopefully the war with Iran is winding down or there's some kind of normalization there in the straight of Formoose. By then, the midterm elections are going to be over with. So, that volatility is behind us. And um hopefully by then we have a better understanding of what the Fed is doing and what policy is going to look like and that will open up a clearer door of opportunity for big money to start chasing the new AI trade. And even then I do think the broadening trade is also a theme right out of out of the markets. I like robotics, automation, AI, software, and cyber security the most, but I also like cyclicals and industrials and small caps. There's, you know, these are different levels of risk to reward, you know, so there's a lot of opportunities out there in the trading community. Year to date, we are up almost 86%. We're smoking Wall Street. And I think with, you know, the way that I invest is by spotting opportunities before Wall Street does. You have to envision a little bit. You don't have to be 100% correct. If you can envision the future and where the puck is going 12 to 24 months from now, even if you're a little bit correct, you're going to make 86% year-to- date returns. Now, I also know there are a lot of people out there that are nervous about this midterm election period and what I will also tell you in regards to the gray period, right? Um, it's kind of feeding into itself because everyone knows you tend to have volatility during this time of the year before a midterm election. So, what's happening right now is a lot of people are hedging. A lot of people are quick to take a profit. A lot of people are nervous, right? There's a lot of moving parts right now in the markets between the Fed and inflation concerns and rate hike concerns and the war with Iran that could change at any moment and the midterms. It makes perfect sense to me why one AI hardware has deflated a bit. Okay. um why Citadel is pumping and dumping hardware, but why we have not fully transitioned into the next evolution of the AI trade. It makes sense. You know, if if if I was managing other people's money, I would be very careful right now. I would have some hedges on the portfolio most likely. But that is your benefit as a retail investor. You're investing for yourself and for your family and you can go out and make decisive investments when they are present. You don't have to worry about what happens in the next month or two because there's a midterm election coming up. You don't have clients that want profit statements every 3 months. I will also tell you guys that while Wall Street's very nervous right now, the NASDAQ just declined 11 and a half%. you know, in the in in the past um month and a half or so, you've since clawed back most of that, right? And actually, from a technical perspective, the NASDAQ looks pretty good. You're only down about 3% from highs at this point. You're back above this bull flag pattern. You're back above the downtrending trend line. So, you could actually be setting up for another move higher here. Now, the news flow and what happens with the war with Iran and all of that, that's likely going to determine the next move higher or lower for the markets, but I actually think you've already seen the premidterm election correction. And you don't have to see a meaningful downside move over the next month or two. It's not it's not a guarantee. So, be very careful if you're falling into the seasonal trap. We may or may not get a correction, but I actually think the odds really don't favor a correction at this point. And again, even then, in the trading community, this portfolio that we started at the start of this year, by the way, is up 136% in the past 3 months, in the past quarter. When you get this kind of momentum, it tends to lead into more momentum. Unless Wall Street was super bullish on the stocks that we were investing in, I would say, yeah, it's probably time to like reduce exposure to, you know, play things safe. But Wall Street's still hyper bearish on the stocks that have actually begun to do very well. And part of it is because of all of this this gray noise that's happening, this uncertainty about the war with Iran and the midterms and the Fed, blah blah blah. So, I just want you guys to be very careful right now. Um, and try to envision where things are going from here. I know it's difficult to do. It's nearly impossible to do. But what is the next evolution for the AI trade? It's pretty clear to me. Robotics, automation, AI software, and cyber security. These are major themes that Wall Street is still very bearish on. We're we're we're massively early. I do think over the next couple of months, we probably get some positive developments. Oil comes down, Fed does not hike rates. You know, these are things that are going to help the broader markets. And we have to understand what's happening with hardware right now. Citadel, they don't run a charity. They don't want to hold these positions for 10 years. They are not the buy and hold people, right? They are the pump and dumpers. The leg they they do it in a shady legal way, right? It's not like they're going to get in trouble. They're not literally pumping and and and dumping, right? It's very hard to make an argument that Citadel controls the markets, but in the reality, they kind of do, right? They're a literal market maker that also runs a hedge fund, which is conflict of interest 101. So, just be very careful right now. Um, hopefully this video provided some perspective here.
