What's up, everyone? Welcome to day 20 of my small account challenge of growing a $2,000 account using Charles Schwab [music] as my broker. Today is the biggest green day so far in the challenge. I traded two different stocks, and I took a total of three trades, but I had one loser. So, one loser, two winners, that gives me 66% accuracy for the morning. A little bit below the average I've been maintaining during this challenge, but because I was able to stop out quickly on the loser, the loss is relatively small and manageable, and the two winners are bigger. Now, in terms of uh you know, how it went down, the first trade was a winner, the second trade was a winner, and the third trade was the loss, and that was my cue to take my foot off the gas and walk away. Preserve the profit from the day, and you know, don't spiral. And that's really challenging because the natural inclination is that, you know, I just took a loss, I want to make back what I lost. But, the fact is there was there weren't any more good opportunities after I took that loss. And you know, if there had been, maybe I would have traded it, but but I don't want to trade just for the sake of trying to make back the loss cuz the market doesn't care what your P&L is. You should only trade if there is a valid setup, and you shouldn't take bigger size to try to compensate for a loss or whatever else. You got to take risk based on the difference between your entry and your max loss, and the fact the profit target is at least 2x whatever you're risking. Two to one profit loss ratio, focusing on eight quality setups that meet all five pillars of stock selection, that's how I've been able to maintain approximately 77% accuracy during this challenge. I'm now up to a total of 45 trades over the course of 20 days. So, I've been averaging about two and a half trades, approximately uh 2.4 trades per day, which is pretty good. So, we're going to jump on the screen share here. I'm going to break down my trades from the morning. Again, sitting um with the biggest green day so far in the challenge, which is great because all that money is getting donated to charity. All of the profit from these small account challenges gets donated to these different causes and every time you guys hit the thumbs up, I add an extra dollar to how much we're donating. We've now raised over $370,000 with the bulk of it coming from you guys hitting the thumbs up in this red line here. The green line is my trading profits, which is each time I reset my account, I slow down the growth. This first challenge that I did, which was towards the end of last year, was with a $2,000 account using six times leverage. And you know, I kind of said, "Look, I'm I'm doing this to raise money for children's hospitals. It's a good cause, but it's taking some risk." And so, after I finished that challenge, many of you guys were like, "Okay, that was cool, but can you instead, you know, like slow it down a little bit and trade in a way that's a little bit more realistic for how maybe some beginners are trading." So, I then for these last three challenges have been doing either cash accounts or accounts that don't offer leverage to sort of slow things down. Um but then to keep donating and raising money for the children's hospitals, I said that each time you guys hit the thumbs up, I would add an extra dollar. So anyways, that's where we're at right now. And we're going to be coming up to having enough money raised to do another donation. Been doing it about every $5,000. So, if I can, you know, average 5,000 a week or so with the small account challenge, that's going to be all 50 children hospital children's hospitals, one in each state in the United States by the end of the year, which would be that's my goal. So, thank you guys for helping and let's go over day 20. So, this morning we didn't have really anything on the scans that was interesting here until ERNA pops up on the scan with breaking news and squeezes up 54% very quickly. So, this is a stock that you could see is a little more expensive, 9, 10 up to 11, 12. It was up 55%. We had this breaking news headline. It's a biotech company. And so, when I pulled up the chart, um I see first it comes to my attention on the scanner. We get the alert right here at 9:09, and uh almost immediately it's up 50%, which made it the leading gapper in an instant. Then it's up 75%, it's definitely the leader. I pull up the chart, and it squeezes up here to 10.62, drops back down, pops back up, pulls back, pops back up, pulls back, pops back up right here. As it dips right here, I jump in right here looking for the break of 10. We got the break of 10, but it wasn't super clean. Sort of popped up there, then dipped back down, then it came back up. Now, it did end up breaking out a few minutes later, which is one of those things that can be a little bit annoying. So, I'll show you the chart on this um on all four time frames. So, we've got the 10-second, the 1-minute, the 5-minute, and the daily. So, on the 10-second chart, you can see that we ended up coming back up to this 10.50 level, and we broke through and went all the way to 11.50, micro pulled back up to 11.75, micro pulled back up to 12.50. And I didn't participate in that section of the move. Because of the way it sort of faked me out here, I started feeling like maybe this was similar to the stock that I'd lost about $6,000 on in my big account yesterday, uh which was UBXG, and I just thought, you know, like it's popping up, but it's kind of acting a little weird. I'm afraid that I'm going to get caught in a flush, and you can see how UBXG was sort of a similar, you know, pullback, choppy recovery, and then it never pulled away. I tried and tried and tried, and I just kept getting stopped out. So, that's what made me think, you know, maybe it's not going to work, just because of that sort of recency bias of what happened yesterday. If yesterday I'd had a huge winner, I might have felt differently. But anyways, that's the one trade I took, and it gave me a profit of $873.52, as you can see right there. Now, um that was in a total of uh three orders. So, if I pull this up here, I'm just going to pull up my um my account here. So, these are the filled orders. And so, we're going to just scroll down. So, the first fill um was was in this area here. So, this is where I started buying. 9:37, 9:39, 9:42, 9:58, and 9:60. So, I took one starter, and then I added to the position for the break of 10. It hit a high of 10, but it couldn't break in the first Well, it sort of straddled 10. So, I took the profit off right around there. So, that was the first trade jumping in and jumping out. Um so, let's see. So, that was um ERNA. Now, on ERNA, I can't remember the total number of shares I bought. Um the way it sort of breaks up, you see how it sort of clumps these orders. I think it was Let's see. So, this looks like $2,000. Two Sorry, 2,000 shares. So, I think it was 4,000 shares, and I must have made about 20 cents a share. All right. So, two orders of 2,000 shares. That was the buy and that I used to buy. So, then the next uh stock is V Sorry, uh VIVS, right here. Hits the scanner at a dollar and 25 cents. It's up 49% and they've got this headline that they received a $5 million payment from Eli Lilly providing guidance that it expects revenue growth of 500% in 2027 fiscal year. Okay, this is a little ways away. Again, it's a biotech company, and initially, I'm Um I I don't have much interest in it." Um and so, the first thing I check is the daily chart, and I notice that the 200 moving average is a dollar 80. And so, as it squeezes up to a dollar 20, dollar 40, dollar 50, dollar 60, I'm like, "Yeah, 200 moving average is right there at a dollar 80. It's going to reverse off that level." I was pretty confident in it. Um but, it broke a dollar 80. And so, as it broke a dollar 80 right here, I got in for the break of two, and this thing cuz at this point, it was up over 100% on the day. I mean, in an instant, it was up so much. And you know, it did have this news catalyst, so I'm like, all right, I'm going to jump in. Jumped in for the break of two. It goes up to 220, 240, 250, 270, all the way up to a high of three. Boom, I take my profit. It dips down. I add back up here looking for the continuation up to four, and I stopped out with a loss. So, if we look at that one, let's see. So, I added first entry was $1.91, $1.95, and I'm just pressing that button shift one uh or shift two to add 2,000 shares. And I'm getting partial fills, partial fills, partial fills. And so, then I take the profit off the table. So, looks like I had again about 4,000 shares on this trade. Then I add back 2,000 shares right here, and then sold up here. In hindsight, I kind of wish that I bought uh you know, more shares. Uh I wish I'd bought like I In fact, I could have afforded 10,000 shares of this. Imagine that for a second. If I'd actually bought 10,000 shares at, you know, $2 a share, that could have been a $78,000 winner. That would have been incredible. But, you know, that also would have been very risky because uh obviously, that would be putting my entire account into one trade, and uh if it doesn't go the right the way I expect, you know, it could could be pretty bad. So, so that's where uh so that's where I was at there. So, now I finished the day at uh $3,652.96. So, fantastic solid green day here. Best day so far the challenge. Now puts the account up over 1,300% versus the $2,000 starting balance with 48 winners, 37 uh 48 trades, 37 winners, 11 losers, 77% accuracy, and the average winners are $560. So, things are starting to get a little exciting here as the account's getting bigger. I'm starting to be able to have bigger trades. And I I certainly could have done better today if I'd been a little more aggressive, but um nonetheless, it's a solid green day. And I'll be, you know, back at it first thing tomorrow morning. So, for those of you guys who haven't already checked out our 2-week trial here at Warrior Trading, link is pinned to the top of the comments. So, check out that link. And for those of you guys that are curious about my t-shirt, my red, sorry, sorry, correction. This is not a red shirt. This is a green shirt, as you can clearly see. Some of you might misinterpret this to be a red shirt. It's a green shirt. And this is how I've counteracted the superstition that I've had that it's bad luck to wear red. You know, you don't want to be red on the day, so I wouldn't wear red on the day, right? This is This is how the greatest professional athletes think. You You talk to any of these really great athletes, and they think the same as I do, of course. They look at me and they think, "Ross, you do look like an athlete." And I say, "I know, I am." Well, kind of. You know, I'm a trader. So, you know, side by side, you put me right next to all those great athletes, and I kind of blend right in. I might be a little shorter than a lot of them. I might weigh a little bit less. That doesn't matter, because this is my sport. And I am equally superstitious. So, I found a loophole where if I wear my green shirt, green shirt, I'm empowered, in fact, to put on any color I'd like. And so, we have, as I suppose you might imagine, launched the green shirt, Ross's green shirt collection. Now, these are being sold at cost. This is not about me making money. This is about me spreading the good word and giving you the confidence that you can wear any color you want. In fact, you can wear a green shirt every single day of the week. Isn't that amazing? Now, that's how you get through superstition. If I I mean, I can't think of a better way. I honestly can't. So, anyways, I hope you guys check out the shirt. Link is pinned to the top of the comments uh, to check out the shirt, also for the trial. And I'll see you guys back at it streaming tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Reminder, as always, trading is risky, and my results aren't typical, no matter what color shirt I'm wearing. So, please take it slow and always practice in a simulator before putting real money on the line.
