Over the last 3 months, I have made it a point to try to have as many conversations as humanly possible with those of you who watch my channel. Whether it be through emails, whether it be through Instagram DMs, whether it be through the Discord chat, or phone calls. I actually call people from TH Capital. I'll just message them like, "Yo, dude, want to get on the phone and have these 30-minute, 60-minute conversations about who they are and their journeys with the goal in mind on my end to get a better feel, a better understanding of who you guys are. Who Who are the people who watch my channel and what are you maybe gaining in terms of value from the channel so I can try to do it even better." As many of you know, I've been in this market for about 7, 8 years now. I have made and lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in the stock market, the crypto market, and the real estate market now, which is pretty damn well cool to say. And my thought process is that I can use that experience of the last 8 years to try to save you guys some of the headaches that I've gone through. I made many mistakes, I've learned many lessons, and if I can use this channel as a vehicle, a medium to give you guys these lessons and give you guys these mistakes so that you can expedite the night, the journey. You can expedite your process and grow faster than I did. That's a win, and I feel like I'm actually having an impact on the world, which is where I feel a bit of genuine fulfillment, okay? If I'm just going to be honest with you guys. And so, because of that, I've had a lot of these conversations. And through these conversations over the last 3 months, I have recognized that there are three mistakes. There are three massive mistakes that investors, especially in the stock market, are making right now that I've seen before, I've done before, and I'm telling you, the people who make these mistakes are going to lose money, and it's going to be bad. It's going to be bad. If you know, you know. Like, I'm telling you, these are three rough ones, okay? And so, because I've recognized these mistakes, what I wanted to do in today's video, since it's a Saturday, and you guys know I like to make educational videos every Saturday, I want to take a break from the charts. We're going to take a break from the data. We're going to take away from Take a break from the physical things, the physical learning, and we're going to talk about some some mental learning. This This going to be a bit of a different video. I don't really have any bells, I don't have any whistles, I don't really have any presentations to bring you. This is a convo between me and you. And I know I'm in a bit of a weird place, no purple walls. I'm in a normal people place. It's a little bit weird, but I'll be home soon, don't you worry. But I wanted to have this conversation with you. Cuz I think this is going to be something that's going to save a lot of people a lot of headaches. Maybe not money, but headaches okay? Let's start. The first mistake that stock investors are are making right now is not recognizing the exceptionality of the market that they've been in. What do I mean by that? The stock market that we've had for the last year is not the normal stock market. The gains that many of you have made over the last year are not the normal gains of the stock market. You see, whenever you look at some of the oldest, more traditional investors, you know, the Buffets and Mungers and that group, right? You often times say, "Oh, they're boring." Especially any of you who come around this year, you say, "Oh, they're boring, right? 10% a year?" My NEBLIUS position can do that today. You know what I mean? And you look at them and you scoff at the gains that they expect, the stability that they look for. And the reason why you do that is because again, you don't recognize that the market that we're in right now is not normal. And what's unfortunate is that many of you have it built into your brain. Many of you have it built into your mind that what has been happening, let's call it for the last how many months have we been in 2026? Eight? The last eight months is what the next eight months is going to look like. The unfortunate truth is that eventually this market will go back to normal. Eventually this market's going to kind of just go back to how it was, which is a market that does have exciting moments and it does have scary moments, but more often than not, not a lot is going on. And you know how I know a lot of people are making this mistake is because this week in the stock market was more of a normal week. Not really. Nvidia fell 5%, AMD fell 8%. We saw Walmart down 10%. These aren't particularly normal price actions for the stock market. But it was a bit more normal than usual. We didn't have [snorts] a crazy piece of news to pump the market up. We didn't have a crazy piece of news to dump the market down. We had the whole bond yield situation, but that wasn't like a like a whip moment, like a whap moment. It was more just like a something that kind of gradually started to scare people sort of thing, right? But we didn't have that like kind of big crazy volatility and the big roller coaster this this week. That's what I'm trying to get at. And so many people in the comments in the Discord are saying, "Nah, the stock market is probably dead, you know, it's done. Like, this is so boring. What is this? Like" This isn't you know, this isn't where the money's made. Oh, I saw that one. That's That's what it was. I was trying to think of it. I was trying to think of what the the comment said. It said, "This isn't how money's made. I can't make money in this market. Nothing's happening." And what that tells me is that a lot of people don't recognize how exceptional that this market has been. This has been one of the most ridiculous stock markets that we've ever seen before. You go look back at history. You go look it back at volatility indices. You go look at all these things. This has been an exceptional market. And I know I keep saying it, but I'm trying to get a point through to you that this is not normal. All the [snorts] crazy gains that have been generated are not normal. All the crazy losses that have also been generated in some places are not normal. This is a market that is being exceptionally exceptionally compounded by a mixture of leverage and huge spending by hyper scalers mixed in with a lot of retail and volatility from the White House that has caused this big boiling pot of BS, all right? Where it's just nuts and a lot of crazy things are going on. And that's not normal. Yeah, we have moments like this, right? When the pandemic happened, we had a moment like this. Um before that, we had a moment like this in 2018. We had one in 2012. We had 2008-9, obviously. We had 2001. We had many moments over the last 20 years, but most months are not like this. And so, a lot of people have started to get this idea in their brain that the 30% gain that they have this year, they're going to do every year. The 40% gain that they've gotten this year, the 80%, 100% gain that they've gotten this year, they're going to get every year. You're not. Eventually, it's going to come come down and it's just going to go back to normal. In which the market on average produces 10% gains a year, 12% gains a year if you look at the little closer time frame, right? And if you get that in mind, now it'll do you better because many of you that I've speak spoken to are desensitized. You're desensitized to it. You're used to seeing 20% swings. You're used to seeing 40% swings. And when you don't see those swings, you get bored. You get antsy. You get anxious. And you start making mistakes because you feel like you always need to do something. When the reality is that in the stock market, some of the most money is made by not doing anything. Buy something good and leave it alone for 24 months. But people can't do that because they're so desensitized as a result of the volatility that they've experienced in a very exceptional year. And that's why I feel for you guys. For any of you who started in March, April, May, that's many of you. You you're so used to something that's not normal. And it's going to hit you hard and you have to be dialed in up here to be okay with being bored. Because if you can't be okay with being bored, you're not going to survive the next 10 years. I'm telling you, you will not survive the next 10 years. You won't survive the next bear market. You know what I want you to do? Go look at 2022 and 2023. Go look at how the stock market performed in that time. There's no chance you survive that if you can't get a good grip on your senses now. Now, you need to get that going now and be ready to say, "You know what? It's been a crazy year. It's probably not going to last. Eventually, it's going to slow down. Things are going to get a little bit different and I'm okay with that. I'm going to set a plan in place. I'm going to set a strategy in place. I'm going to dollar cost average it if the market's pulling back or just going sideways and I'll be okay with being bored. And I will not by any means start making a bunch of moves and a bunch of trades and re-positions just because I'm getting bored and anxious feeling like I need to do something." You have to get that going now. If you don't get that, I'm telling you, just give it time. I made that mistake in 2022. I got into the crypto market. My first bull market in crypto, like big one, was the 2020 to 2021 crypto the market. I And if you if you know, you know. That was a wild ride, dude. I mean, dude, it's hard to even explain what happened in 2021. It was like everything was chill in 2020, and then everything went nuts in 2021. You're seeing positions that were up like $5,000 over the course of 12 months go up $5,000 in 24 hours, right? And it was like that for like 7 months, 8 months straight from like March to December, March to November-ish. But then going into 2022 and the worst one was 2023, things were like pulling back, then it went sideways, then it got super boring. And I'm in there and I'm just like trading and I'm moving and I'm like I'm I'm feeling like I constantly need to do something. I'm feeling real anxiety. And because of that, if I would have just left that alone, if I would have just bought these assets and left them alone, I probably would have made about the same amount of money, but I'd have been way less stressed. And that's the whole thing, right? It's not being stressed out as a result of the boringness that this market will present eventually. You need to be okay with getting a 10% return per year. That That That is is what it comes down to. You need to be okay with that because there will be years that produce that or okay? That's mistake number one. That was a long one, so I'm going to try to speed the next few up. The next mistake builds almost directly off of that. And this one's going to hit home for some of you, and I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. As a result of an exceptional year, many of you are mistaking a great year for skills. What do I mean by that? Many of you have done fantastic this year, which is amazing. And I'm so happy like whenever I talk to guys in TH Capital, I see guys who are generating hundreds of thousands of dollars, and it's just like mind-blowing to see, right? Because I'm seeing so many normal people who live normal lives doing exceptional things, and that brings like a real warm fuzzy feeling to me, right? But the problem is that many people are mistaking a great year for skills. There's a quote There's There's quote, and I don't remember exactly how it goes, but I remember it from the crypto bull market. And the reason I refer to the crypto bull market is because again, 2021's crypto bull market is essentially what the stock market of this year has been. But they said, "Everyone looks like a genius in a bull market, and a bear market exposes the frauds." And what it means is that it's easy to make money in a stock market during a year like this. It's easy. It's easy to buy literally just anything and wait. If you bought basically anything in January, you've probably made money this year. And the problem with that is that people are going to go, "Oh my god, I'm so good at this. I can do this forever. I can quit my job and do this." And some of you can. Some of you are very good. I mean, there's a fellow who I know, I'm not going to name drop him, but he's actually good. He's He's really good. He reckon He recognized an opportunity within the oil industry. He spotted a trend. Capitalized on it multiple times now. Made hundreds of thousands of dollars. That's real skill, right? But a lot of people have just watched YouTubers, saw Jeremy from Financial Education buying something. They've just bought it. They don't know anything about it, but they've bought it cuz he said to buy it. They've made a bunch of money off of it, and now they think they're good at this. Jeremy's good at this, but they think they're good at this. And because of that, they have a diluted sense of skill. They They go or or they have an overexposed sense of skill is what I meant to say. And they go, "Yeah, I just need to do this, you know, 1 more year, 2 more years, and I'll be able to retire." And they think it's just that easy. And so, they don't feel like they need to continue to build up skills. They feel like they don't need to continue to learn. They don't need to continue to try to learn new things. Go on a new platform, learn what this thing is. If you don't know what like an an NTM P/E ratio is, you should know what that is. Like like these sorts of things, for example. They don't think they need them because they've had so much success. And that is very problematic, because let me tell you something. You remember how I said eventually this market's is to go back to normal? A market that is normal is so much harder to make money in if you're not just in the S&P 500. It's always easy to make money in the S&P 500. You buy it, you leave it alone, you make money over time. History has shown that and I believe that's going to continue. In individual stocks, it's going to be way harder. And by way harder, I mean five times, six times harder to make money in the individual stock market. Meaning you're going out, you're picking stocks, you're buying them, you're riding them. Why Let me ask you something. If it was just as easy as it's been this year, why wouldn't everyone be on Wall Street? Why would becoming an investment banker on Wall Street be one of the most high-paying jobs that there is kind of? Why would being a top investment firm for 20 years be one of the most difficult tasks to accomplish? If it was just as easy as it's been this year, why wouldn't everyone do it? It's because it's not easy. It's because it's not just that easy. Winning in the world of individual stocks is not easy at all. And being able to accomplish it over 10 years is insanely difficult. We're talking a less than 5% chance. Most people get burned. And so, when people are sat here and they've had such a phenomenal year, they get this idea that they can just do that forever and that they don't need to continue to grow and that they don't need to continue to learn and that they're that they've got it figured out. That's That's a good way to say it. Most people think they have it figured out. You don't. You can, but you don't. And let me be honest with you folks, I don't have it figured out. I've been investing in the stock market for 8 years. But I've seen enough cycles. I've seen enough ups and I've seen enough downs to know better than to be naive enough to believe that I have this market figured out. The second you think you have it figured out is the second the market takes you out. And so, that's why every Saturday I make videos like this where I'm teaching you guys new skills, new strategies, new lessons, new things that I'm experiencing and going through because you must be willing to adapt and evolve in this market or you will die. Only the paranoid survive. And you need that mentality. You cannot stop moving. You cannot slow down. You have to continue progressing if you want to survive. Because yes, you did great this year, but if you want to continue to push that on forward, you need to up your skill set by 5x. Because the skills that got you money this year are going to take or the money that you made this year is going to be five times harder to make in the next coming years when all this slows down. It's going to eventually. And so if you're on the other side of this camera and you're wondering how do I do that? How do I do that? Just keep learning in whatever way possible. Do not get complacent here. Do not think that you have it figured out. Go learn a new technical analysis tool. Go learn a new platform that does fundamental analysis for you. Go sign up for some course somewhere and go learn how to do forward PE ratio value dynamic analysis or just something random like just keep learning but don't think you have it figured out cuz you don't. None of us do. Unless you're just buying that S&P 500 and doing nothing else. You got it figured out. You got it figured out. If you're if that's what you're doing, you got it figured out. So please don't get this idea that just because you made money over the last 8 months means you're going to make money over the next eight. Things will change and you need to be willing to adapt with it. So you need to learn. You need to continue to grow. Add new tools to your toolbox, new skills to your skill set, and continue to look for new opportunities, okay? That's the second mistake a lot of people are making. The last mistake that we're going to talk about today is a new one. This is as recent as like the last 3 days and I need you to listen to me real closely, darkness. Many stock investors, if the crypto market keeps rallying, are going to sell stocks to go buy crypto. The worst of this bunch are going to sell all of their stocks to go all in on crypto and that is a nasty mistake. That is a nasty mistake. Now mind you, this is coming from someone who's been investing in crypto for 6 years >> 6 >> and a half years, 6 and a half years, yeah. Who has a YouTube channel with 140,000-ish subscribers talking about crypto. I talk about crypto every day. I have full faith that blockchain technology is going to continue to change the world and that Bitcoin will be one of the most standardized assets in all investment portfolios, okay? I'm a firm believer in crypto. So, for me to say it is a mistake it is a mistake, okay? Now, it's not a mistake for everyone. It's a mistake for most people. Let me explain. The reason why many people are going to sell their stocks right now and go buy crypto is not for the right reason. There is a right reason. I'll explain that one in a second. It's for the wrong reason. They're seeing their stocks slowing down. They're seeing cryptos pumping and they're going Oh, well, that's where I need to be. That's where the money's being made. Now, I don't need these stocks. So, they're going to sell their stocks that are in the red, a little bit, kind of. It depends on what stocks you hold, but if it's AI, they're kind of in the red. And they're going to go buy these cryptos that just pumped 30, 40% a week. The reason why that's wrong is because you're playing this game backwards. What's the core What's the core principle of the stock market, guys? I have to say this every week. What's the core principle of the stock market? Buy low. Sell high. Everyone knows this. But no one practices it. And so, the idea that you are going to sell something that's low stocks right now, kind of to go buy something that's high, crypto that just pumped 30, 40% a week you're playing the game backwards. You're playing the game backwards. It would be different if 3 weeks ago, 4 weeks ago your AMD or Micron or whatever, right, was pumping and you were taking profit out of that while it was pumping to go rotate into crypto because crypto is at the bottom of a bear market or close to one. That's completely different. But that's not what people are doing. See, that is the right way. If Had you been doing that, that is something that I've personally been talking to you all about here on the channel. I've told you all several times that I am personally getting some capital and rotating into crypto. This was like a month ago because I thought crypto was getting close to a bottom. That's the right way to play the game cuz I was what? I was selling high on stocks, which I really wasn't selling. I was more just like not investing as much and then taking the capital, whatever. But then putting it into the crypto, which was low. And so now that crypto's going up, I don't have to do anything. I bought low and I sold high. That's the goal. But that's not what people are doing. They're looking at their stocks saying, "Well, my Micron's down 20% or 15% from its all-time high, whatever it is. I don't know the exact number right now. So, I'm going to go sell this and I'm going to go buy XRP, which is up 40% from Tuesday." This is stupid. It's just stupid and I'm sorry. And the reason I say it's stupid is because you have to think about your odds. You're not stupid. These are just emotions that we all face and I want to say the same thing. I'm not saying you're stupid. The reason I'm using the word stupid is because you have to think about the core principle of what you're supposed to be doing here, buying low and selling high. Right now, you're literally buying high and selling low. It doesn't make sense. Okay? And so I don't want you guys to make that mistake. The only way The only way it makes sense for you to sell your stocks right now and buy crypto is because you have a fundamental belief that a capital rotation is occurring, that liquidity is about to transfer, and that we are about to see a market-to-market pivot. What I mean by this, if you believe that the stock market is nearing a top and you're ready to take profit. You've been looking for your trigger, looking for your moment to take profit, and you're you're just wanting to take some profit. And you believe that the crypto market you're you're you're firm on both. You understand how both of these markets work. And you're looking at the crypto market and you say, "Fundamentally, I believe that based on the four-year cycle, midterm year, having in two years, I believe that the crypto market is near a bottom enough that I'm ready to start rotating now that we're seeing capital injection into crypto. So, I'm going to rotate some of my capital to crypto from a long-term perspective for a market-to-market pivot. Totally fine. There's nothing wrong with that. That's super reasonable, by the way. If that's what you want to do, it's super reasonable, by the way. I think objectively, the crypto market has higher upside potential right now than the stock market. Because the the crypto market's been in a bear market and the stock market's been in a bull market. I think that's It's not saying one's better than the other. You just got to look at the math right? I think Bitcoin's much more likely to do a 2x right now than the S&P 500, essentially. But, it's a much more risky asset. It easily can fall 40% from here, where the stock market's probably not going to fall 40% anytime soon. So, if that's your position, that's totally fine. But again, that's not what most people are doing. Most people are going, "Mhm, crypto's up. I want to go buy that cuz stocks are dead." And it goes back to all these other things. The decent sensitivity, the lacking of recognition that this is an exceptional market, the mistaking skill, uh you know, a great market for skill. Like, those sort of mistakes are now compounding into this idea that you're just going to go and just buy crypto and that crypto's just going to go up. That's not how this works. So, if you are someone who wants to rotate into crypto, you can, but you need to do it from the right perspective. Okay? Because what you think's going to happen? Let me just say one more thing. What do you think's going to happen if you sell your stocks right now, which are down, to go buy XRP and that XRP falls 30%. What do you think you're going to do? You might stop investing. You might be so deflated. You might have the air taken out the wind taken out of your sails so much because you're just like, "Man, I'm just not good at this. I can't figure this out. I don't know what I'm doing." You're just going to stop investing. When it's really just a mistake in the strategy. It's a mistake in the approach. And it's an easy one to fix, okay? So, those are three mistakes that I see a lot of people making right now. And I think a lot a lot a lot of people are going to make these mistakes anyway. Some of you are going to still make these mistakes after watching these videos and listen, I'm not a financial advisor. I'm literally just a random dude in a nut purple room. So, everything you say you know, you should hear me say here, take it with a grain of salt. Look, I got no licenses. I got no credentials. I got no proof of anything that I'm saying is true. Right? So, take it all with a grain of salt. But, for those of you who do take anything from this video, please take the core of these things from it. This is an exceptional market. You need to get your expectations right. Stop mistaking a great year for skills. Keep growing your skills. You need to continue to evolve or you will collapse. Three, don't chase the hype of crypto if you don't understand crypto. That's the core three lessons from this video, okay? So, I hope you guys had enjoyed this style of video. This is a little bit different.
