Have you noticed how stocks like Micron, Rambus, [music] and G Revolve didn't really climb over the past year? They exploded. >> [music] >> Behind those moves were three critical constraints reshaping the AI boom, the memory wall, computer shortage, and the power crisis. >> [music] >> While much of the market remains focused on software, sophisticated investors recognize a deeper [music] reality. Nvidia's GPU cannot reach their full potential without advanced HBM memory and the enormous power infrastructure that needed to run them. The one-year performance of Micron, [music] Rambus, and G Revolve reinforces our strategy. Identify the critical dependencies holding [music] an industry back before the market fully prices them in. These charts are not just impressive, [music] they demonstrate what can happen when you spot a critical choke point before the trade turns parabolic. [music] For early access to our institutional grade research and real-time alerts on [music] the next sector rotation, join our Discord community through Patreon using the link below. Now, as [music] the primary AI trade begins to shift, the question is, where will the next breakout opportunity emerge? [music] Right now, the next breakout opportunity may be taking shape in two sectors. One of them is taking shape right above our cities, advanced air mobility. The emerging [music] market for electric vertical takeoff aircraft, air taxis, and autonomous cargo platform is approaching the point where years of testing could become a real commercial industry. [music] The revenue potential is substantial. Fortune Business Insights project that global advanced air mobility market will grow [music] from 16.5 billion in 2026 to 87 billion by 2034, representing a compound annual growth rate of 23%. [music] Supporting that outlook, Acumen Research and Consulting forecast the market [music] could reach 132.2 billion by 2035, expanding at 24.7 >> [music] >> annually. Although the estimates differ because the firms use different market definitions, [music] both point to a rapid growth as electric air taxis, cargo aircraft, [music] autonomous flight systems, and the infrastructure supporting them move closer to commercial [music] deployment. Those figures reflect far more than passenger flights between city centers. The opportunity spans cargo delivery, emergency response, [music] medical transport, offshore logistics, defense missions, regional connections, [music] charging infrastructure, fleet management, air traffic software, batteries, and specialized manufacturing. >> [music] >> In other words, the aircraft may capture the headline, but an entire supporting ecosystem must be built around them. The regulatory picture is also [music] beginning to evolve. US aviation authorities have established an implementation plan designed to enable early operations at selected locations, and have updated commercial aviation rules to include powered lift vehicles. [music] These steps do not eliminate certification, safety infrastructure, or affordability risks, but [music] they offer a clear road from experimental prototype to revenue-producing services. That is why this sector appears to be at the cusp of breaking [music] out and surprising the real world. Markets often wait for visible revenue before recognizing a tech shift. By then, the earliest opportunities may already have [music] moved. The key is identifying the bottlenecks, certification, battery performance, [music] manufacturing scale, charging networks, and airspace integration. As each constraint [music] is solved, value could flow not only to aircraft developers, but to the quieter technologies enabling an entirely new transportation [music] network across the globe. Two stocks stand out in advanced air mobility, but my number one pick is Joby Aviation. [music] The company is closer than ever to turning engineering and certification work into commercial operations. Management plans to begin flights [music] in Texas in September and continue targeting its first passenger before the end of 2026. Joby has five electric air taxis flying, including its first [music] FAA conforming aircraft with another 12 aircraft in production. These EIP P operations could generate operating data, demonstrate readiness, and potentially [music] accelerate final certification. The company is also preparing commercial service [music] in Dubai while expanding its passenger network and infrastructure strategy across the key [music] US markets. Joby's financial position gives it an advantage in this capital-intensive [music] race. It ended the second quarter with 2.3 billion in cash, cash equivalent, and short-term investments. Management expects to use between [music] 385 million and 415 million dollars during the second half before certification manufacturing and commercialization. >> [music] >> Although that burn rate means substantial its liquidity provides runway. A further 250 [music] million strategic investment is expected to close later this year or early next year. Institutional confidence is strengthening [music] as Joby approaches commercialization. A July 2026 SEC [music] filing shows BlackRock beneficiary owned 50.5 million shares, representing 5.1% of Joby's class A [music] stock. Its position increased from approximately 46.6 million shares at the end of March. Other strategic and institutional investors also hold significant stakes. >> [music] >> Joby still faces certification, execution, and cash burn rates, but its aircraft progress, liquidity, partnerships, and [music] expanding institutional ownership make it the sector's standout opportunity. My second stock [music] pick in advanced air mobility is Archer Aviation. The company is moving from aircraft development towards operation, [music] supported by flight tests, infrastructure investments, and a commercial strategy. Archer [music] recently completed a piloted intercity flight between Salinas and Monterey, a step toward operations under the White House EVTOL integration pilot [music] program later in 2026. The company expects to begin flying from its airport base in Los Angeles before launching EIV operations in Texas. >> [music] >> Beyond its Midnight air taxi, Archer is expanding into autonomous cargo, logistics, [music] and defense applications, creating routes to future revenue. Financially, Archer remains well-funded for an aerospace [music] company. It ended the second quarter with 1.56 billion in cash, cash equivalent, and short-term investments. Second quarter revenue reached 5 million [music] as autonomous operations expanded. However, commercialization remains expensive. Operating activities consumed 156.4 [music] million while 37.1 million went toward property and equipment. [music] Archer's liquidity provides a cushion, but investors should continue monitoring its spending and potential dilution. Large institutions are maintaining significant exposure. [music] June 2026 ownership data indicate that BlackRock held approximately 60.2 [music] million shares, or nearly 8% of the company, after adding roughly 1.3 million shares during the quarter. State Street, Vanguard, and other investment managers [music] also reported sizable positions. Strategic industrial backing further strengthens Archer's credibility and manufacturing [music] ambitions. Archer still faces certification, production, and execution [music] risks. Nevertheless, its approaching US operations, strong balance sheet, expanding platform portfolio, and [music] infrastructure planning, and growing institutional support make it a compelling second pick [music] in the emerging industry. The next major AI bottleneck may not be computing power itself, but the ability to move data between processors at extraordinary [music] speed. As AI clusters expand to thousands of GPUs, traditional copper connections face increasing limits involving [music] bandwidth, distance, heat, and power consumption. That makes high-speed optical transceivers a critical layer of the AI infrastructure buildout. This market appears to be entering a breakout phase. TrendForce projects the global [music] market for AI-focused optical transceivers will reach $26 billion in 2026, [music] growing more than 57% year-over-year. It also expects [music] 800G and faster modules to represent over 60% of shipments into AI data centers. [music] Meanwhile, LightCounting expects 800G shipments to more than double in 2026 [music] while 1.6T adoption grows from a small base to tens of millions of ports. >> [music] >> The opportunity extends across transceivers, lasers, optical components, silicon [music] photonics, testing equipment, and advanced packaging. One stop positioned directly inside this bottleneck [music] is Applied Optoelectronics. Right now is the perfect time to buy the dip as company announced a $600 million equity distribution deal to raise more cash. [music] This cash raise was anticipated as explosive growth requires significant cash to expand [music] capacity. The company reported record second-quarter revenue of 86% year-over-year, while returning [music] to non-GAAP profitability. Its 800G revenue more than doubled sequentially and management [music] expects demand for 800G and 1.6T products to exceed production capacity through mid-2027. [music] To capture that demand, monthly capacity is expected to rise from approximately 200,000 units to 650,000 units by year end. Management's outlook points towards roughly $1.1 billion in revenue in 2026 with the possibility [music] of dramatic growth in 2027 as new capacity comes online. The valuation also looks compelling at approximately four times estimated [music] next year's sales considering the company's potential growth rate. However, this opportunity carries [music] serious risk. Manufacturing expansion require enormous capital, free cash flow burn remains elevated [music] and further share dilution is possible. Applied Optoelectronics offer powerful upside to the optical networking boom, but investors should expect considerable volatility as the company finances and executes its expansion [music] at global scale.
