Hey, hey. What's up good people? How you doing? Welcome back to Stock Up with Larry Jones. Hey, the Fed gave his decision and it was to stay the rates right out of the gate. I am buying Google right now. I'm buying some Google right now. We'll get into that and we'll get into the Fed. All right, we'll talk at the end. Let's get right into this data. Let's keep this one short and to the point. Let's go and see where the NASDAQ closed up. As you could see, the NASDAQ actually ran up all the way up until earnings and then we got some good news and some bad news. Microsoft gave us some good news and Google aka uh um uh gave us some bad news aka Alphabet is what I wanted to say. All right. So, we had a drift up today on the NASDAQ. So, most of your portfolios look good. All right. You look good because you're just like I am tech heavy. You can't help it. I can't help it. We just wanted some of these tech companies, especially the big ones like Microsoft, Alphabet, Meta. Those are the biggies. Okay. So, let's go right into it. Microsoft had a good earnings report. Microsoft is actually up 5% at the time of making this video. Now, I'm making this video two hours after the market has ended. Two hours. All right. And we're up 5%. So, Microsoft is really, really uh bullish right now. And it's good. I showed you on that chart the other day that it was bullish, but there was some concerns. All right. And those concerns were the capex spin. But guess what it hit? It tore Alphabet aka Google up. Guys, let's just go right into it. Google Alphabet is down right now 10.62%. That's massive. 10.62%. It's down 28793. Right. I bought some and I'm going to buy some more. Right? And I'm just telling you what I'm doing. Remember, anything I say is not a suggestion for you to buy, hold, or sell. You got to do your own due diligence. But at these prices, I'm buying and I'm buying cash. Remember, I have Google that I bought way lower than this. All right. Leading up to earnings, we had a what a step up. So, it was kind of a V-shaped recovery. And then today, boom, down uh 10%. So, we were bullish leading up to it, but there was some concerns. And I'm going to blow this up so you guys could see this. Here are the concerns, right? Watch for cloud. All right. AI search, AI overviews. But here's what happened. AI spin, the capital expenditures, and margin pressure. Guys, you see that? I showed you that the other day. Yes, we were bullish, but you had to watch out for those things. And those are some of the things that's causing it to go down. All right, so now let's look and see. Sorry, this is going to be a little small for you to read. All right, so what's going on with it? Slowing search ad growth. All right, so that's one of the things we knew that was happening. Google ad search is going down because of chat GPT because of claude because of Grock because of these AI models right but I'm still bullish on Google long-term so slowing search ad is coming down right so advertisement revenue grew 12% to 63.35 billion falling short of Wall Street expectations That's one of the things that hit it. Then massive AI cap capital expenditures. This is what they mean by cap X, capital expenditures and negative free cash flows. So that is not good, right? That's not good. All right. So Alphabet reports a massive 51.4 4 billion capex spend for its artificial intelligence buildout driving free cash flow down to negative 9.1 billion. These companies have lost their spending mind. All right. And then earnings and profit misses. So we had a miss and a miss. gross revenue 25% to 126 billion slightly missing expectations and net income took a hit from a 8.7 billion paper loss on equity investments reducing EPS by 55%. Okay, here's the bright spot. overweight by spin despite Google's cloud search at 103% yearoveryear to 30.7 billion on heavily IA AI demand. So you got the bad news and the good news. So why am I buying it? Moving averages. Remember you don't have to be like me. All right? This is not support. This is not uh Fibonacci. It's none of that. It's simply where Larry likes to buy. Remember, you got to do your own due diligence, right? So, let me show you this here. I'm on the two-day. Now, this is what I called not dollar cost averaging, but value cost averaging. This is what I do for stock that I'm going to hold for many years. And Google happens to be one of those for me. So, let's go. right to it. Now, I'm on the two-day 150 EMA exponential moving average. Okay. The last time we dipped beneath was right here. That was 2020 uh five. That was liberation day, the tariffs and all of that. Of course, that was a hard dip beneath. Now, I like to buy right here, right now, right where it is, touching the 150day moving average on a two-day time frame. Remember, value cost averaging is what I call it. So if you see the last time we touched was here and here every time if you just bought and I'm not telling you to buy you want to keep holding you go ahead. You want to hold off that's okay. There's no wrong or right answer. So just from touch to touch you got 8%. Right? So instead of me dollar cost averaging average this is value cost average from touch to touch another 12%. Okay. So, if I would have just bought here and let's see here. Let's do this. If I would have just bought here, two touches, 21%. See that? That's what I'm talking about. That's what I do. And if I would have bought it the last time we got this close, which is about right here. Okay. If I would have just bought a lot then, even though it came back down here 62% and even where it is now, I'd be up 85% on what I purchased here. Okay? So, that's all I'm telling you is I'm just buying because simply because of those reasons. Okay? And if it's a fallen knife, so be it. I rep I welcome the opportunity to buy in this in this range guys just look at this right so I'm not I'm not trying to convince you I'm just trying to convince me okay all right so let's go back here we are over the last five days the the the low has been 313 look at that over the last month the low has been around 314 3:15. Over the last month, over the last 6 months, the low has been 314. So, me buying it right now at 288 because it's down so far, I'm good with that. How about you? Now, let's talk about the Fed really quick. The Fed He was dovish. He was dovish. And you're going to hear some talking heads say that he was hawkish. He wasn't hawkish. He was dovish. He came out giving you all of the good news. The job market is doing better, is increasing. He gave you all of this data. You know, that was good. And he kept the meeting short. So, my move actually does work. And I actually made some money today on the cues while the Fed was talking. I traded between pre-market high and pre-market low and just took a snip, just took a little a little uh move down as I did decide to come on with uh my group Money Moves. Come join us, right? Come join us in Money Moves. So, I did grab a little move and got 75% uh on a put option on the Q's because it started to drift. But he kept the meeting short. He was uh mostly positive and hawkish if you ask me. If you listen to the whole deal, he didn't say anything out of the ordinary. He stayed interest rates which was baked in. Had he not stayed interest rates and would have increased by as little as 25 basis points, the market would have crashed. But wait, here's what I want you to know before we go. Before we go, guys, I want you to understand that tomorrow morning we have PCE. It is the Fed's preferred uh inflation gauge. That is the biggie. And then we have Amazon and Intel after close and bail. So an hour before the market opens, we have very very important data. What are you going to do? So if PCE comes in hot, my Google buy could go down lower. And so what Larry's going to do, Larry's going to buy more. The only way that Larry can buy more is to save some cash, right? So I'm not telling you what to do. I'm telling you what I'm doing. All right, guys. So listen, I just went through the whole deal. Go ahead and hit that like, subscribe, and notification bell. I just thought I'd come here and let you guys know what I see and what's going on. And if you want to make money like we killed it yesterday, we killed it today. Um so I'm sorry, we killed it today. Um this morning with Tesla riding it down, everybody made money like in the first uh 20 minutes cuz we started trading early. So the first 15 minutes we were in and we were out. Took our money and we ran. Come join us. We got classes. If you're a beginner, if you know nothing about options, we have classes in money moves. Either way the market goes, we make money. All right, make sure you hit that like, subscribe, and notification bell, and we will see you tomorrow.
