Silver crashed nearly 50% from its January peak, falling from around 120 an ounce to just $60 an ounce. And investors are running for the exits, but I'm doing the opposite. I'm actually following three different silver mining stocks that I believe could explode when silver rebounds. And here's why. Silver miners can deliver several times the profit growth of the metal itself, especially when prices rise. And I've found that these three stand out from the pack. One has 1.8 billion dollars in cash and almost no debt. Another just grew earnings 160% and the third one is growing fast while trading at less than a third of the broader market's growth adjusted valuation. So, in this video, I'm going to show you all three of the ticker symbols, why I like them right now, and the risks you need to know before buying. Plus, I've got a bonus precious metal stock that actually ranks higher than all three of these, and I'm saving that one for last. So, make sure to stay tuned. All right, we're going to start with SSR Mining, ticker symbol SSRM. The company mines up to 7 million ounces of silver a year at its Puna operation in Argentina with gold mines across Nevada, Colorado, and Canada. And these days, the company bills itself as an America's gold and silver producer. I forgot to tell you who I am. My name is Jacob Wade. I'm a financial coach for high-income earners, and we're here to help you cut through the noise and find the signal in this ever-changing market. And before we dig further into this company, if you're finding videos like this useful, just tap the like button below. It tells the algorithm to put this kind of breakdown in front of more investors just like you. Almost everything a miner like SSR earns above its cost to pull the silver out is pure profit. And for SSR, that cost sits near $25 an ounce. So, at $30 an ounce silver, it nets about $5 an ounce. But at today's $60, it's netting around $35 an ounce. Silver has only doubled off of its early 2025 level. Yet for SSR, the profit per ounce is up something like seven times. And SSRI's turned that into a fortress balance sheet. This past June, it closed the sale of one of its problem mines over in Turkey for about 1.5 billion dollars in cash, clearing its biggest headache in a single move, and leaving it with roughly 1.8 billion dollars in cash and next to no long-term debt. Management is actually buying back its own shares hand over fist, more than 400 million dollars worth already this year alone. And it's leaning in hard right now while silver's slump has the shares on sale. And there's real growth underneath all that cash, too. Wall Street experts see SSR growing earnings around 57% a year going forward, more than three times its industry average pace. And you're not paying a premium for it. SSR carries a PEG of just 0.53. The average stock trades near 1.5, so shares could literally triple from here and still be cheaper than the typical company. And Wall Street is on board, as well. Four analysts cover the stock, and the coverage is split between two strong buy recommendations and two buy recommendations. The average fair value target implies an upside of more than 20% Now, the most bullish analyst over at CIBC ranks in the top 18% of all analysts that we track, and his fair value target implies more than 40% upside as of the week that I'm recording this. Now, let's pop the hood on this company with our Zen ratings. Our quantum model analyzes every stock across 115 different fundamental, technical, and AI factors and boils it down to an intuitive letter grade, A through F, just like school. And it also gives seven underlying component grades encompassing things like value, growth, and momentum that pin down each stock's strengths and weaknesses. Now, SSR lands at an overall B rating, a buy recommendation in the top 20% of more than 4,600 stocks. Now, let's go through those component grades. Momentum is in the top 21% Value is in the top 9% based on 21 different value measures, and the standout here is financial strength. Like we talked about, it's in the top 8% of all companies that we track. And again, not a surprise for a company sitting on 1.8 billion dollars in cash. Now, the one risk here is the metal itself. These shares live and die on silver and gold prices, so a sharp pullback would definitely sting. But with that cash pile and zero debt, SSR can ride out a rough patch better than almost anyone in the group here. All in all, SSR kicks us off with silver and gold, a fortress balance sheet, and a team pounding the table on its own stock. But, the next miner brings something SSR can't. Three different metals under one roof from the biggest precious metals name in the entire country. Now, before I get to that next stock, here's something that might interest you. Our editor-in-chief Steve Rightmeister has put together a list of three stocks that he believes could double in the coming year. Yes, he did find them using the exact same Zen Ratings model that I'm using to review the stocks in this video. You can get all three of those tickers for free. Just head to wallstreetszen.com/double or just scan the QR code on the screen right here if you got your phone handy, or you can click the link in the description below. That now brings us to Buena Ventura, ticker symbol BVN. Peru's largest precious metals miner with more than 70 years behind it. Silver sits at the heart of the story through its Yumpag mine, a high-grade operation that keeps getting better. Output there climbed 8% last quarter, and this summer Peru approved a 20% increase in how much ore the company can pull each day. So, there's more silver on the way. There's more than silver here, though. A brand new gold mine called San Gabriel started selling its first gold this year, and is still ramping toward full output, adding a second growth engine. And Buena Ventura owns nearly a fifth of one of the largest copper mines in Peru, a passive stake that quietly sends it close to 120 million dollars in dividends. So you have silver, gold, and copper in one ticker symbol, and that mix pushed revenue up 43% last quarter and drove earnings up about 160% from a year ago. Now here's something you don't see every day. Only two analysts cover Buenaventura, but both of them rank in the top 7% of all analysts on Wall Street. One of those analysts has a fair value target pointing to more than 20% upside from here. As you'd expect in a video from Under the Radar Miners, Wall Street just simply hasn't shown up here in the numbers yet. And that kind of coverage gap is the something that I like to get ahead of. Now at this stage, you know that I'm going to reach for the Zena ratings here. Buenaventura earns an overall B rating, another buy recommendation, and sits in the top 19% of everything that we rate. Two component grades lead the way here. Financial strength is in the top 14%, and the standout is actually value, all the way up at the top 7% based on 21 different value factors. Now one risk worth flagging here is execution. San Gabriel, that brand new gold mine, is still in its early ramp and running well below full output, and new mines rarely come online exactly as planned. So a slower climb there would actually take some of the shine off of this growth story. But all in all, Buenaventura gives you silver with a gold and copper kicker, a 70-year track record, and a value grade cheaper than almost every stock that's out there. Now if that's the quiet, diversified pick, the next one is the absolute opposite, the highest rated silver miner of the entire bunch. Now quick ask before we move on to the next pick. If you're getting value out of this type of video, just hit the subscribe button below and make sure you hit that notification bell because we publish data-driven stock analysis like this every single week. Now our highest rated silver miner is Fortuna Mining, ticker symbol FSM. Now until recently, it was a literally named Fortuna Silver, and silver is still in the mix through its Caylloma mine high in the Peruvian Andes, but what turned Fortuna into a standout is actually gold. Its biggest operation sits in West Africa and it runs a second gold mine down in Argentina. So, you're getting Fortuna's silver roots with a fast-growing gold engine bolted right on top. And with gold sitting up near record-highs, that engine is throwing off serious cash right now. Now, the catalyst to watch here is the West African projects, already one of the lower-cost gold mines in the business. Now, back in late July, Fortuna greenlit an expansion there. And here here's the part I like. It's paying for the entire build-out out of its own pocket. There's no new debt and it's targeting more than 200,000 oz of gold a year for the next decade. And even while it funds that growth, Fortuna has been steadily buying back its own shares, which tells you how cheap management thinks its own stock is. And all of that is already showing up in the numbers. Revenue grew more than 45% last year, which is more than decent, but below the industry average. But earnings grew by 141%, significantly ahead of the industry average. And you're buying it cheap. Fortuna trades at a PEG of just 0.48, less than a third of the market's 1.5. So, all that gold-driven growth comes at a steep discount to the average stock. But it's what our system has to say about it that pulls Fortuna ahead of those first two picks. It earns an overall B rating, a buy recommendation. It's in the top 7% of everything that we track. So, let's take a look at those component grades. Growth is in the top 23%, financial strength is an elite top 4% and the standout here is value, which is in the top 3% of all stocks that we track. Now, the one knock here is jurisdiction. Fortuna's growth runs through West Africa and Latin America, where politics and permitting can get bumpy, but it's funding that growth out of its own pocket instead of with debt, which is what you want a miner carrying that kind of risk to do. So, all in all, Fortuna hands you a silver mine, a self-funded gold engine, record-high gold prices at its back, and the strongest value and financial strength of any pick in this video. It's a financially rock-solid miner priced at a bargain. And on the fundamentals, it's the pick of the litter. But, I did save the single highest-rated name in this entire video for last. And honestly, this is sort of a bonus pick because it's not directly tied to silver as the other pure-play picks are that I've already mentioned, but it's definitely related for sure. So, if you're interested in this overall theme, the fundamentals of this one make it well worth the space on your watchlist. So, just make sure to sign up. And now, the bonus pick, the one I saved for last, is Sibanye-Stillwater, ticker symbol SBSW. Now, it isn't a silver miner. It's one of the world's biggest producers of platinum and palladium, plus a major gold miner across South Africa and Montana. So, why am I putting this in a silver video? Well, because platinum is silver's closest cousin. Both are precious metals that double as industrial workhorses, and when money rotates back into the complex, they tend to run up together. When silver moves, the other moves with it. Now, in its latest half-year report, earnings more than tripled from a year ago with revenue hitting a record on top of that. It cut net debt in half. It propped up its dividend and settled a long-running legal dispute that had been hanging over the stock. And on top of the mines, it runs a fast-growing metals recycling arm that adds another income stream. Now, here's the kicker. Even with all that good news, Sibanye still trades at more than 50% below its 52-week high. A turnaround that's already working on sale. But as you'd expect from an overseas miner, coverage is thin here. There's just three analysts that cover this stock. But as of the week that I'm recording this, every one of their fair value targets sits above today's price, implying anywhere from about 20 to 50% upside in the year ahead. And it will shock no one that our highest-rated pick carries our highest grade. Sibanye earns an overall A rating, a strong buy recommendation from the Zen Ratings. And it's in the top 3% of more than 4,600 stocks that we track. That's better than 97% of everything that we rate. Now, if we pop the hood and see what's underneath, the financial strength of this company is in the top 9% of all stocks. Growth is in the top 8%, which actually foreshadows more earnings beats ahead. And together, growth and financial strength are the two most vital grades for future outperformance. But the crown jewel here is actually value. It's in the top 1%. It's absolutely elite because of that stock price. Now, the one risk here is volatility, plain and simple. Platinum, palladium, and gold can all swing very hard, and these shares are going to swing with it. But with record first-half results and net debt cut in half, Sibanye is in its strongest shape in years. A rare mix of dirt cheap and firing on its two most important component grades. So, that's the finale, a top 3% stock, the cheapest value grade in this entire video, and the one name you're most likely to catch an updraft the moment the precious metals trade heats back up again. So, just consider whether it deserves a spot in your portfolio. So, don't think of all of these as four random tickers. Think of them as a little precious metals basket. SSR Mining, Buenaventura, and Fortuna give you silver exposure and each one is backed by gold. And Sibanye gives you the sympathy play, rating near the very top of our entire universe, especially for value. So, let's tie this all together. Silver has pulled back roughly 50% from its January record. Yet, these miners are still throwing off strong profits at today's actual prices. That's a high floor under these shares and is set up by like a whole lot more than buying silver when it sits at the top. Now, the Zen ratings are up-to-the-daily, so make sure to check them before any buy, hold, or selling decision and make sure to bookmark the website wallstreetzen.com.
