The thing going on with AI is infinitely more interesting than Bitcoin. And that is a true statement. Does SpaceX go to be worth 10 trillion dollars in the next five years? Maybe. 400% gains. Does Bitcoin go to 500K? Maybe. Rex says, "Why should I own Bitcoin over SpaceX?" It's an interesting one. I've been pessimistic on SpaceX at its current valuation, but they're approximately the same market cap. Oh, Bitcoin's what, 1.5 trillion. SpaceX is like 1.7 trillion or something like that, but let's say they're around the same market cap. So, what's going to offer you the better upside over the next 5 years? Are they similar upsides? Are you taking a similar risk-to-reward ratio when you're buying these? That's an interesting conversation to have. SpaceX, generational company, Elon Musk, generational entrepreneur. Rockets in space, man. Satellites in space going to freaking Mars, man. That's exciting stuff. Bitcoin also exciting. also cool but a completely different thing. The question becomes where do you make the more money? Does SpaceX go to be worth $10 trillion in the next 5 years? Maybe 400% gains. Does Bitcoin go to 500K? Maybe 400% gains. We're rounding up and down a little bit here, but you get the idea. Both can do very well. You don't have to choose one or the other. But Rex and these other guys are sharing a sentiment that I think a lot of investors are feeling right now. Bitcoin's been kind of boring. Bitcoin during 2026, despite everything else going on, global M2 and the AI trade popping off and gold going crazy and silver going crazy. It's just sucked for the last year. Great buying opportunities obviously for the savvy investor to take a long-term perspective, but the problem has been very real. People have been looking at BTC. They've been looking at what's going on. They looked at it go from 126 down to 57K. And I mean, don't get me wrong, stocks have gotten absolutely slaughtered recently. But even SpaceX is down 50% from its first few days of trading. But people looking at BTC and thinking maybe the big money is moving on. Maybe it's going somewhere else. I don't believe that to be the case. I think BTC is still a fantastic uh riskreward trade, but depends on when you're buying it. Depends on what your goals are. But realistically, just you don't have to choose one or the other. You can own both. Okay? If you're an American, this is for you. Offshore crypto platforms, some of them are ticking time bomb. Woke up with the realization that Bitcoin is just not interesting to me. It used to be kind of interesting 5 years ago. Now it's just mostly boring. The thing going on with AI is infinitely more interesting than Bitcoin." And that it's a true statement. I'm not going I'm not going to fault Dave for that. I understand exactly what he's saying. Are you going to buy BTC? What's the upside potential? Two 300% maybe during the the next uh cycle. It's good. We like that. bought if you're not in Bitcoin already. But if you're not, if you're going to come in today, now if you're coming in as a big capital allocator, we were just of course talking to um James from Coin Shares who talks to big capital allocators all the time and they're still only putting about 1% in on average, 1.3% he says the current sort of numbers they're getting. So it's still very conservative and people are looking at what's going on in the world and people still allocate to gold, right? those same family offices have gold positions to they see maybe Bitcoin fulfilling a similar bracket within their broader portfolio as something of a wealth preservation vehicle just more volatile one than gold but I think there's a lot of people out there who are looking at everything that's going on with BTC right now and thinking either a I should buy altcoins but someone like Dave and I don't know Dave but um for him he probably looks at crypto and thinks well if there's not going to be Bitcoin I'm probably not going to screw out this other stuff maybe I'll just you know go buy what I know which is tech stocks. And to be fair, everything going on with AI is extremely interesting. You don't have to be one or the other. Now, you can choose not to participate in tech stocks. You can choose not to participate in Bitcoin, obviously, but you don't have to be one or the other. You can literally do both. That's the thing. You can have some Bitcoin because it's fulfilling now a different niche than it once did. See, back in the day, Bitcoin was a very interesting piece of technology. Crypto was a very interesting piece of new technology in a way that AI is right now. The riskreward for BTC was extremely high back when Bitcoin was $10,000, $5,000. You were taking an early contrarium bet that this tech would play out. And if you bought in those ranges, you got a 10 to 20x return. Incredible. Great. This is the kind of stuff that tech investors come in for. Now people are looking at it and going, "Well, yeah, maybe it goes to a million dollars in like 10 years or something, but in that 10x time, how many AI stocks are going to do 10 x's?" There's a lot of interesting things, and I like AI. I I think that AI is a massively revolutionary technology. If you've been using AI, you know this, but also there's an incredible investment opportunity there. And I I feel like I should have more money in AI, more money into robotics. Not to say I want to sell my Bitcoin to do that. I like my Bitcoin as a cornerstone of my portfolio, as a wealth preservation tool, which is what I see it as, but it's hard to deny the gains that can be had from the AI trade. And so people like Dave here who are looking at it and going, "Yeah, I'm just not that excited about Bitcoin." It's an honest take. And it may not be a take that Bitcoin investors like to hear, but I'm think there's many investors that are thinking in a similar way. Like Bitcoin interesting, however, holy [ __ ] AI. I get it, man. I do. I understand. Virtual Bacon posted this said, "Things happening around bottoms." This guy here said, "I sold my remaining Bitcoin. I bought it all in 2018." I mean, damn, dude. Good gains. You could have bought almost anywhere in 2018, and he got, let's say, anywhere between 800 or 1,600% returns. Not bad. He said, "I had modest investments in Doge and Ethereum over the years, too, but have long been out of those. The reason all my friends who are enthusiastic about crypto have refocused onto AI and other technologies. And this is the thing too is that crypto is not the only trade anymore. If you want to express enthusiasm on future technology, well crypto is still part of that. But holy [ __ ] AI, holy [ __ ] robotics, holy [ __ ] biotech. Incredibly exciting things are happening. And I am not a crypto only investor. I like crypto. Crypto is a major part of my portfolio. But being a crypto only investor when there's so many exciting things happening in the rest of the market, there's other ways to make money. Let's just put it that way. Uh this Matthew guy goes on to say, "I don't personally know anyone building exciting crypto projects. When Chimath Palapatia and Jason Gallocana shared similar thoughts to me, I decided it was time to move on. Everybody gets to do what they want with their coins. This guy wants to sell." He locked in some nice gains. And massively, by the way, Matthew massively outperformed the NASDAQ by that Bitcoin buyback in 2018. So, he had a massive outperformance here. Now, I know I know he could have bought could have sold all his Bitcoin in 2021 and perfectly bought Nvidia at the exact bottom and made way more money, but markets don't really work like that. Still though, there's always going to be people getting out of the trade. There's always people getting into the trade. We just talked to James from Coin Shares. He said there's people getting into the trade. There's people buying BTC. Big money people buying BTC because they don't look at it as an eitheror situation. they look at and see well we can buy buy the AI stocks we can make the IPO investments and we can also have some BTC because it's got a role in our portfolios and he says I don't personally know anyone building anything exciting uh in crypto well just because you don't personally know anyone building anything exciting in crypto doesn't mean there's not a lot of exciting stuff going on in crypto because there obviously is Jeff Park I like this advisor uh Bitwise partner Parfy Capital so he says every now and then you get a rare moment where you realize one person's bull thesis is exactly the same as another person's bare thesis. Very interesting. Said, "After everything we just experienced over the past 72 hours, the fact of the matter is I like Bitcoin here." My man Jeff. Yes. These are the vibes we need. These are the vibes we need right here. Bitcoin recorded longest streak of Dailyet. Realize losses. People are capitulating. The fear is high, man. I like Jeff's uh overall vibe here, man. We like Bitcoin. We like Bitcoin a lot here. Real quick, 100,000 traders already open up this newsletter before the market opens. Are you one of them?
