…10-12 range. I don't know about next week. I don't know about next week. You know, but over the coming weeks, if this persists, yeah, $10, $12, that's where SoFi's going, and I'm sticking to my plan. I've said it before, I'll say it again. I'm buying leaps on SoFi in the 10-12 range. I could have bought some at 1375, but I think that was a bit too premature in my opinion. You know, who knows? Maybe I'm wrong. So, it's not looking so pretty this Friday, guys. Man, the entire market's getting hit. Well, I guess the Dow's not too bad. Then again, the Dow it was green earlier. Now, it's down half a percent. The Russell's down over 1.6. The S&P's down about 1.1. And the Q's, you guessed it, are leading the red down over 2.2%. And I got to be honest, I was wrong. I thought we would have a decent rebound day today considering the KOSPI, the South Korean index, actually had a pretty good day yesterday, right? I thought that would lead into the US market. And oh boy, was I wrong. I was wrong. The VIX is up 35% today. I just realized that is insane. The VIX is up 34%, 35%. It's completely skyrocketing out of nowhere here. It's been, you know, kind of climbing over the last couple hours, but really it took off here in the last hour. And SoFi stock is down a very good chunk. What else is new? It's down about 4% as of this video, trading at $14.50. And that's after we had a pretty big move in the morning from $15 to about $15.50. We tried breaking through the mid-15s back to $16, but we failed. And I'm not surprised considering we've been talking about it here on the channel, guys, that every rebound SoFi sees, it's a bull trap. You can stamp it, mark it, every single time it rebounds, it's just a bull trap. And that's what happened yet again. We saw it at the end of last week. At the end of last week, SoFi had 1520, saw a decent run into Monday to about $16, and it was a bull trap. And obviously, it fell right through 2 days ago, right through $15. It got all the way to 1375 yesterday. Then it had a nice rally, nice intraday rally as did a lot of the stocks out there in the market. And like I said, we had a pop this morning, and that's all it took for this to get flushed right out. You know, it got flushed right out. Now we're down about a dollar from the intraday high, about 6%, and clearly we're getting nailed at the 180 SMA on the 1-hour time frame, right at the trend line, right on cue. I mean, this is again, it's almost too predictable. And at this point, what else is new for SoFi stock? And if I had to guess, if I had to guess heading into next week, guys, especially if the market remains like this, I mean, again, the VIX is ripping. I mean, what the heck? Where did that come from? 31% move on the VIX. Oil's up. If this continues, you better believe it, man. SoFi's going to take out these lows, and I think we're going to that 10-12 range. Either way, I mean, I guess if you're looking long enough out, even 1375's good, but I want $10-12, and I'm looking to buy at that point probably $15 leaps. I might stagger these, maybe 15, 1750s, $20 leaps. That's that's kind of the plan where I'm at right now. Maybe even some more shares at that point. They're going to be dated out, not even just a year. I'm talking like two two years at least, maybe three years out. And that's where I'm comfortable uh you know, putting those leaps or buying those leaps uh for SoFi stock. Um, I've said it before, I'll say it again, they're crushing it fundamentally. They're growing members, they're growing products. We talked about it in the previous video, kind of what to expect for this stock to really move. Uh but at the end of the day, the macro is bad right now. Interest rates are going up, inflation's going up, hikes, we're going to get more hikes, that's the reality. So, things are not looking pretty, but you got to cut through the noise and look long-term. And again, my target's $10, $12, and I think if we get there, long-term leaps, it makes sense because ultimately we're going to come back. Uh rates are going to normalize, that's my bet. We're going to see cuts eventually, not in not not anytime soon, but within the next 3 years I think we'll get cuts. Uh we'll get in a better environment for SoFi, and the stock's going to rocket, and I want to be in leaps for that exact reason. Um, so yeah, that's a quick breakdown here, guys. Not surprising the price action today. We called it out. It's it's it's a lot of the same old crap, and the VIX is pushing 20, oil's through the roof, Brent is at 110 a barrel, it's up 3%. And this looks like a cup and handle on Brent crude oil. Um, this looks like it's going back to the highs from back in what, March, February? Um, so that's happening. It looks like it's about to happen at least, the chart setup's there. WTI's up around 3%, it's pushing over 100 a barrel. So, this is all pushing um the market down, the stock market that is. It's obvious. Gold's up, silver's up, inflation pressures are are even more uh of a problem day after day as oil keeps going up and when the heck is this conflict in the Middle East going to end? I'm sick of it, you know, we we we heard all oh, it's going to end in August. Oh, it's going to end before the summer. Then we heard Trump say oh, September, you know, by September we'll be good. Now it's almost November and my in my opinion and look, I'm not well versed in the Middle East conflict by any stretch of the imagination and if in fact, I don't pay attention to it much anymore, but at this point it's pretty obvious Trump and the Republicans and we're not talking politics here. We're not talking politics here, but they know they're in trouble for the midterms. It's over. It's been over, you know, they're they're going to lose the midterms. So it's almost like he's saying screw it, pedal to the metal, um, you know, with the conflict in the Middle East and I know it's not that simple, right? It's not that simple like oh, let's just end it tomorrow. I'm sure there's a lot more, um, you know, he the the the hornet's nest has been stirred, right? So you got Israel, you got the Middle you know, every other country that's involved, um, you know, a lot's going back and forth. It's not just us, right? In the United States, but you know, even if we wanted to end it, they might not want to end it. It's kind of what I'm getting at. The hornet's nest has been, um, you know, disrupted, if you will. So it's not that simple anymore and at this point Trump's like, hey, we what's the incentive to end this, you know, we're already going to lose the midterms, you know, oil, yeah, it's up. Inflation's up, but it has been. Might as well go a little longer and see, you know, what we can get out of it. I don't know. Maybe that's what's going through, um, you know, the the government's head right now. Who the heck knows? I'm not a big government politics guy anyway, uh, but it's like man, when is this going to stop? This stuff needs to freaking stop. And could you imagine if we never got involved in the Middle East? I mean, oil would be at 50, 60 a barrel, things would be normal, CPI would be low, inflation you know, it wouldn't be ripping, interest rates would be more normalized. I mean, I just I just don't get it at the end of the day. I wish we never got involved in the Middle East. And I know I'm not, you know, super well versed, but looking at it from a bird's eye view, it's like all right, maybe we wanted to get more control of oil, disrupt China. I understand, you know, that angle. I get it, but it's like man, the the repercussions of it in the US economy, we're starting to feel it. And the market's starting to feel it, the average American's been feeling it. I mean, that's no secret. Inflation's nuts, gas at the pump it went up like 70% or whatever the data was from the CPI. It is insane. And I just don't see when this is going to end at this point. I thought genuinely a couple months ago when we were really covering this stuff day-to-day. You know, back in June, July, even before that May, I thought it would be done by now. I thought oil would be normalized by now, not back to 50 or 60, but I thought hey, it'd be 70, 80 a barrel. But my goodness, man, was I wrong. This stuff's still going on and and I just don't see when it's going to end. That's a problem for a lot of these stocks that are interest rate sensitive. And a lot of the growth stocks, which are interest rate sensitive, and we're seeing that. And yeah, Trump is going to lose the midterms, that's the reality, but he still has two more years to go in his term, right? There's still some ways to go. Um I still think he ultimately wants to recover um the you know, the US economy, the stock market. So, eventually, yeah, things will get wrapped up over there in the Middle East. Things will get better, in my opinion, but I just thought it would have happened already. But again, when he realized, in my eyes, midterms are gone, they're going to lose. He knows that. I mean, come on. Everybody knows that, whether you're left, or right, middle, whatever it may be, you know, that once he realized that, pedal to the metal, I think, is what he in his head he he thought. Um yeah, here we are. Here we freaking are, guys. I don't know what else to say, but man, I just want this stuff to end. I want inflation to come down. I know it's not that simple, but I want, you know, the the pricing pressure uh for everyday goods and services to not be going crazy. You know, the average American's feeling it. And yeah, it's it's it's a rough It's a rough It's been a rough go the last couple months um in the economy, stock market aside. Uh but it's not It's not terrible. Again, we've seen data from the banks that consumers are still resilient, but we're seeing a lot at the same time, we're seeing a lot of the CEO, CFOs at the big banks saying, "Yeah, you know, the consumer is starting to feel pressure. You know, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. They're resilient, but they're feeling the pressure. Um it's only a matter of time before they completely crack under that pressure um and we head into a recession at this rate." I mean, if oil's still at a hundred a barrel in a year from now, I mean, holy smokes, guys. Um it's not going to be good. But either way, what do you all think? Let me know in the comments.
