So, it's uh it's been quite the day for the stock market today to say the least, guys. The midterm elections are going on. We have a lot of earnings coming out. Stocks are up, stocks are down. Everything's moving all over the place. And we have to break down the midterms, kind of what's going on there. We'll talk about SoFi, some earnings, and where my head's at now. So, guys, let's dive into it. We have no time to waste. Hit the like button. Make sure to subscribe and check out my Patreon if you guys want to keep up with the private Discord, my portfolio updates, and more. That's linked down below in the comments as well, or go to stocksurfest.com/patreon. And now, let's dive into it. So, we're less than a minute away from close. And just like the previous video, every index is up except for the Dow. The Dow's down just about half a percent, a little less actually. um as the Q's are up.7% spy up around.3 same with the Russell as Bitcoin's moving and we have silver down gold's down the VIX is down and oil is down as well actually WTI is pushing up a little bit.1% right now but Brent is down half a percent trading at 104 a barrel which is obviously the more important uh one to look at as again the VIX is at 20 down about 2% % and three out of the four indices here in the US stock market are up which we talked about earlier and here comes the closing bell. Wait for it. There we go. Boom. We talked about earlier how SPY is maintaining this channel. You guys see it. Same with the cues on the 4hour time frame. We're maintaining a higher low here on the trend line. And this is as again midterm elections are literally going on right now, which we'll talk about more here in a second. And SoFi stock, let me show you SoFi. This thing had a 1% green day officially today. The market just closed and it has kind of lost steam the last couple of days since that initial pop post earnings. And I'm not too surprised, guys. I wasn't expecting SoFi to really break out of 1920 bucks. um you know in this market environment we're in. That would have shocked me. That definitely wasn't or wouldn't have been on my bingo card, right? Uh we can see the stock ripped after earnings. We all know that. That was what, last Monday, uh whatever day that was last Monday, Tuesday, and it trickled up for another day or two, and it's kind of been stagnant since. Again, it's lost steam after hitting about $17.60 on the 29th of October. Uh, we can see that right here. And since that point, if I pull the 5day, five minute up, we've been struggling to break out of 1750, 1775. You guys see it here again. We hit that on the 29th of October. We tried breaking through on the 30th. We failed. We tried breaking through yesterday on the 2nd. We failed. And we actually sold off a good chunk yesterday um after that spike in the morning. We opened up at about690 17 bucks yesterday morning. We ran all the way to 1760 and boom, we got whacked all the way to 1660. The stock lost about 6% of its value. And now today on Tuesday. Um again, we're we're not breaking out. We are consolidating. We are consolidating. Finding support at about650 1675, which is good. Uh but we're not seeing a crazy amount of buying pressure coming in quite yet. You know, we're kind of trading sideways. That that's really where we're at on the fiveday five minute. If I pull up this channel tool out, you guys can kind of see uh we're trading sideways. You're noticing that on the 5day 5m minute, on the 15minut time frame, and on the 30 minute time frame as well. And we're probably not going to pick direction until after the midterms. And quite frankly, after the labor market report on Friday, that's kind of my opinion. SoFi might be chopping around for the next couple of days here. And that's not bad considering we're still up massively off the lows from before earnings. And we're still above both moving averages on the 4hour chart, which is good. And we actually have a golden cross, which is bullish, you know. So, we're up still about, like I said, uh 16% off the lows from before earnings, about two bucks a share. I'll take it. You know, we're not going to be up into the right every single day. Um so, we're kind of consolidating. Uh you know, gaining some ground here. Um you know, digesting the earnings, if you will, waiting for the midterm election results, and that's what we're waiting for, arguably before the next move. And speaking of the midterm election results, let me pull up on Kshi kind of what's going on here, guys. Bear with me. So, we can see here, as expected, the Democrats are most likely going to control the House. We can see uh the odds are 94% for the Democrats to control um the House here. And if you think, hey, the Republicans can somehow someway maintain control of the House, you know, win the House, uh, you you could take the other side of that trade, let's say, for example, you put $100 on that trade. There's a 7% chance of that happening. According to Khi, right now, you can come out with $1,400. Although, I don't think that's going to happen. You could take the other side of that trade, but as of right now, the Democrats look like they're going to win the House. And going back here, there's a good chance they're going to win the Senate as well. You can see there's a 73% chance that the Democratic Party wins the Senate, takes control of the Senate right now, according to Kshi. And if you think, oh, Republicans might come back, you know, and win uh the the Senate, keep control of the Senate, you can do $100 hypothetically on Kshi and you can win $352. That's the max payout based on the odds right now. And again, there's a 28% chance that the um you know, Republican party right now keeps control of the Senate. They win the Senate, which neither of these look too likely, especially the House. Uh the House odds are not looking great at all for the Republicans right now. But either way, I'm paying very close attention to these odds as the elections are going on right now. And like we've covered time and time again, guys, looking at midterm election data since 1950, the S&P 500's gone up every single time 12 months after the midterm elections. On average, the returns I think what 15%. And on Koshi looking at their US perpetuals market. You can actually trade their US large cap it's called. And you can use up to 25 times leverage which listen I am not the biggest advocate of going all in on leverage but you can use it strategically right and if you think history is going to repeat itself. We're going to see another big move over the next 12 months. This could be a very interesting and strategic way to actually play that rebound in the US large cap that they have here on KHI, which the top 10 holdings essentially mirror the S&P 500, right? And if you trade with Koshi using my link down below, deposit $25 and trade, place your first trade, you get a $50 deposit bonus. Check it out. And the links also in the comments. And it's not just SoFi stock moving in three out of the four major indices guys. Coreweave had a great day. 8 N% green day heading into earnings here in a couple of days. Although it's nowhere near breaking out. It's just a relief rally. It was a green day though nonetheless as Nebius had an 8 9% green day as well. The bulls are fighting to maintain uh the lows from back in July where the stock hit you know what $140. And the setup looks quite similar to Neb, you know, to last quarter. Now for Nebus heading into this quarter's earnings um in about a week. You guys can see last time Nebius reported the stock got down to 140. It pretty much cut in half from 300 over cut in half uh you know more than cut in half from 300 to 140 and then earnings came out boom it pretty much doubled up again. So that's kind of the setup right now. Although I'm not I'm not saying for sure it's going to double up again. That'd be quite nice. Um, you know, it's a similar setup. The stock's been bludging, man. Uh, it's down a ton, pretty much 40%. And hey, it's it's oversold. Once we get these midterms out of the way heading into the end of the year on good earnings, maybe we get a big rally in Nebius. It's something that we've seen time and time again. Uh, with this stock, you know, stocks like SanDisk had a pretty good day. Coinbase had a green day. Um, the large caps did pretty well. Nvidia had a 2 and a half% green day. The mega cap, shall I say. Um Amazon 2% green day. Not bad. It's battling to break out of this downtrend. We had stocks like Apple actually go down on the day um about 2% which I think this dip will get bought up as long as we're seeing this narrative around money going into uh you know the stocks that aren't pouring a ton of money into capex for AI infrastructure. Um so I think this dip in Apple will get bought up. We should be back to 340, maybe even 350 again in no time. Uh Google had a decent day, about a quarter percent, green day, not much. It's kind of still uh you know, gathering itself after crashing after earnings and I'm looking to buy more Google. Um just being patient with it, honestly. Looking to let the dust settle a little bit and we'll go from there. So, what do you guys think? Let me know in the comments.
