Contexte extrait par IA Now, remember that $75,000 number. The last time Bitcoin was down here back in the middle of September, everyone was scared then, too. And less than a week later, it was above $87,000. Now, I'm not going to say that that's going to happen again. Nobody knows that. All right? On Wednesday, Trump told everyone the stock market had just hit a record high. A day later, the NASDAQ crashed more than 5% and Bitcoin dropped to its lowest level since middle of September. In between, his party got absolutely obliterated. And down in South America, a president just resigned after a bank collapsed and people lost access to their savings overnight. There is a lot of noise out there this week. So, I'm going to keep it simple for you and I'm going to tell you what happened, why it happened, and the one thing that did not change on election night, which exa exactly why I am not worried. Now, before we get into it, I've been in this space for over a decade and I've seen it all. Okay? The crashes, the bull markets, the exchanges that blew up and took people's money with them. Heidi and I started this channel 10 years ago, back when Bitcoin was under $1,000. And weeks like this are exactly why we do it. So if you want to stay on top of the markets with us, see what we are doing with our money and get our updates every Tuesday and Thursday, become a member at learningcrypto.com. The link is right here. All right, let's start with Bitcoin because a lot of you have been messaging me about it. All right, on Wednesday it bounced back above $81,000 and everyone was saying that the bottom was in. Then yesterday it gave a whole lot of it back and overnight it dipped to just above $75,000. Check out the post we did. Around $1 billion dollar of leverage bets got wiped out in a day and almost all of them were people betting the price would go up. They jumped in on the bounce and they got absolutely obliterated the very next morning. Same movie every cycle, guys. And that is why I never use leverage. All right. This is why Heidi and I have been around for a decade while most of the YouTubers out there come and go. They just get liquidated. Especially in 2025, October 10th, they got obliterated and a lot of those guys have left and never seen again. Okay, so why did it drop though? Okay, honestly, this was not really about Bitcoin. Wall Street had a absolutely horrific day yesterday. All right, the NASDAQ fell more than 5% which is actually nothing in crypto and is now officially in a correction. All right, the chip stocks fell more than 12% and the AI companies got absolutely hammered as well. And right now, Bitcoin is moving with the tech stocks. So, when they fall, it falls too. Now, remember last week I asked you if the AI bubble is starting to pop? Well, it's starting to look a lot like it. All right. And keep in mind the Tuesday before the vote, I told our members I wouldn't be surprised to see one more shakeout towards $76,000 around the vote. All right. And that's exactly where we are. So, this isn't a surprise and I'm not panicking, but hold on to that $75,000 level because I'm going to come back to it at the end. All right. Now, the midterms. And this is where it gets wild. The Democrats didn't just win. They swept the lot. And yes, this is all theater, but you know, this is what markets pay attention to. They took the House, they took the Senate, and Texas even elected a Democratic senator for the first time in decades. Now, how did Trump take this? He posted, and I'm quoting him here, "I wasn't on the ballot, and if I was, we would have won in a landslide." Then he said that whatever the Democrats send him, he'll send back with a nice stamp veto. And his own vice president, JD Vance, came out and said, "The reason we lost is the war." People couldn't afford to fill up their cars. They didn't need the government to tell them what inflation really is. The real number is felt at the pump. Okay, just as it's the CP liar, right now, here's the part that really got me. The crypto industry poured hundreds of millions of dollars into these elections trying to buy friends in Washington. Take shared Brown in Ohio. Okay. The big crypto super PAC spent around $40 million kicking him out of the Senate two years ago. And this year they spent more than $46 million trying to keep him out. All right. On Tuesday night he won anyways. So all that money and now the big crypto bill they have been pushing for the the Clarity Act looks dead. All right. And honestly, I'm not upset about it one bit. And I've never expected politicians to save Bitcoin from either side. It worked for 17 years without a law from Washington and it'll keep working without one. All right. Now, check this out because the theater only is getting started. The Democrat who's set to take over the committee that investigates the White House had a two-word message for the Trump family. Lawyer up. And crypto is on the top of their list. The Trump family's crypto company, World Liberty Financial, the money that came in from the UAE, the pardon from Binance founder CZ, and the Trump memecoin. The White House calls it a witch hunt. Now, nothing happens until the new Congress sits in January, but get ready for 2 years of hearings and headlines. I'm not going to be paying too much attention to that crap, okay? But Washington spent years telling you crypto is for criminals, and now it's going to spend two years investigating itself over crypto. You cannot make that stuff up. Now, this next story is the one I really want you to pay attention to because this could happen anywhere. Down in Paraguay at the start of this week, the central bank shut down a bank called Ueno. All right, this was a big bank. All right, around 3 million customers. More than half of the adults in the entire country. Overnight, the app went off. The cards stopped working and the branches locked their doors and people woke up and couldn't touch their own money. The state pension fund had around $350 million sitting in there. And get this, the head of the central bank who pulled the plug used to run that very bank. He's resigned now. And the bank's bosses have been arrested. And yesterday, the president of Paraguay, Santiago Pena, who had a stake in the bank's parent company until last year, went on X and resigned, too. Minutes later, Congress voted 78 to0 to impeach him. Anyways, the drama continues and look what is happening on the streets. Thousands of people have been protesting in the capital all week. Retirees, workers, families chanting, "Give us back our money." And the right police hit them with pepper spray and rubber pellets. One 68-year-old man told reporters, "I lost my entire savings." And what are they being told? Your deposit is only guaranteed to about $38,000 and you'll get this back in stages. Anything above that and you wait and you hope. And the central bank's line on all this an isolated one-off event. They always say that. All right. So, this is one thing that most people don't understand. The money in your bank account isn't actually yours. The second you deposit it, it belongs to the bank. And what you get is a promise from them to pay you back. That's all it is. It's an IOU. They don't teach you that in schools. All right? And when the bank goes bust, you're standing in a line outside a locked door with everyone else hoping that they'll keep that promise. Now, it is the exact same thing with an exchange. All right. People pulled another $4.7 billion out of Binance on Tuesday. after that big hack. Okay, and I love seeing that because that is people taking their own coins home. Bitcoin in your cold wallet is the one thing that nobody can freeze, nobody can lock a door, and nobody can switch off overnight. So, if you still have coins sitting on an exchange, Heidi put together a stepbystep guide this week. All right, it's linked down below, so please do it this week. So, I promised you the one thing that didn't change on election night, and here it is. The debt. The US is paying close to $3 billion a day just in interest on a debt around $40 trillion. Did anyone on the other side run on fixing this? Nobody. Red team, blue team, it doesn't matter. They're never paying it back. They're going to print it back. Okay? So, whoever won on Tuesday, the money printer stays on and your savings buy less. That's why I hold Bitcoin. 21 million coins and that is it. No election can change that. All right. Thank you so much for that. Now, remember that $75,000 number. The last time Bitcoin was down here back in the middle of September, everyone was scared then, too. And less than a week later, it was above $87,000. Now, I'm not going to say that that's going to happen again. Nobody knows that. All right?
