We are going big on digital assets. >> I think the bottom is in. >> I think I have 0% in Bitcoin at this point is a misallocation and puts you at risk in the future. >> How high is it going to go, Jordy? How high can it go? Wow. New information has come to light. Things are about to get a whole lot more interesting for Bitcoin and crypto going forward. Let's talk about what comes next. Is the bottom in? Why are people buying? and how high can Bitcoin go? If you're interested in making money in crypto, subscribe to Altcoin Daily. We keep you informed on the entire cryptocurrency market on a daily basis. Smash the like button. Crypto is about to get a whole lot more interesting because we are now finding out just how real this rally is, why people have been buying Bitcoin, and of course, what comes next. So, new information from Unchained Capital, who reports that onchain analysis of Bitcoin and crypto holders currently suggest that the rally this week is similar to the 2023 breakout that sent Bitcoin from 20K to 125K. where Bitcoin is today, where Bitcoin has come from in the past month or so, very similar to this pivot point, last bare market, which turned into a bull market. Quote, for the first time since the all-time high, short-term holders have positions that are meaningfully in profit. shortterm holder positions. It is a key metric that depending on if they're in profit, out of profit, when they bought, that shows us can show us in this case that the bottom is in and Bitcoin is turning back into a bull market. This rally is very real. More people need to understand that the Bitcoin bottom is in and the next bull market hasn't started yet. This according to Nick Batia who is a financial researcher, CFA charter holder and adjunct professor of finance and business economics at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business where he teaches applied finance and fixed income securities. He just put his reputation on the line on the What Bitcoin Did podcast answering the question is Bitcoin's bottom in? He says yes, but the next bull market hasn't started yet. What's holding Bitcoin back? If there is a rate hike later this year, it doesn't mean Bitcoin would go lower than 60K, but Bitcoin would probably flatline for months if there was an interest rate rise and the US dollar strengthens. So, the bottom is in. And think about this. If there are no rate hikes this year, Bitcoin could really send. Listen, I think the bottom is in. Next bull market. No, you can't say that yet. There's not enough momentum at all. You haven't even really cleared uh 82 83,000 which is the local high uh post post bear drop. So, no, not in a bull market yet. Yes, I think the bottom is in. I I was picking up the seller exhaustion um you know over the summer and I think yes I think the bottom is in. So where but Bitcoin is still very reactive to global liquidity. >> Mhm. And so even if I think the bottom is in at 60 and now Bitcoin closer to 80 than than 60 um could it leak lower, stay flat, not get any escape momentum over the next several months because rates go up, volatility goes up, the dollar strengthens back after a period of several weeks of weakness post uh USD JPY intervention again from Scott Besson's name coming back in here. Um that that's all quite possible. So why are people buying the Bitcoin dip? Let's compare two expert analysts opinions on why they are each bullish on Bitcoin and crypto going forward. First of all, 9 billion Bitwise CIO Matt Hogan confirms first of all on Coindesk that yes, people are adding Bitcoin and crypto to their investment portfolios more and more. We're seeing this in the data. But more than that, when surveyed as to why or what is the current investment thesis, people are realizing more and more the problem with governments inflating away the currency, racking up the debt, and realizing that in this macro environment, which is persisting, which isn't going away in anybody's lifetime, Bitcoin is the fastest horse in the race and that's why people are buying it as type of insurance policy. Even the financial firms who aren't big Bitcoin people like Bitwise is, even they say that to have zero% in Bitcoin at this point is a misallocation and puts you at risk in the future. This is the current Bitcoin investment thesis. Listen, the other way governments get out of this is by inflating away the debt. In that case, Bitcoin is the fastest horse. So, you want to own that. The big whale of a story is the $40 trillion of debt going to $50 trillion going to hundred trillion. As an investor, you need to take that into account. The traditional portfolio of 60% stocks and 40% bonds is 100% fiat currency. You're completely exposed to that. What Besson has said is he'll grow his way out of this thanks to the AI boom. He may be right. We may get that one in a million chance that it plays out exactly perfectly. So own AI stocks. If he's right, you get that. If he's wrong, the other way governments get out of this is by inflating away the debt. In that case, Bitcoin is the fastest horse. So, you want to own that. That's what I was driving at. In terms of what I see investors doing from their portfolio, look, I see them maintaining total allocation to equities. I actually don't think that's going anywhere. People are excited about AI. The changes I'm seeing are on the bond side of the portfolio. People wanting to take less risk there. That means shortening duration. instead of owning 10-year treasuries, maybe you own three-month treasuries and then adding back risk with a crypto allocation to get the return you need. So maybe it's 60 355, maybe it's 603010, but I think I have 0% in Bitcoin at this point is a misallocation and puts you at risk in the future. Black Rockck confirms that government debt and monetary debasement are what's driving this Bitcoin rally and Bitcoin historically has performed well under these conditions. Listen to Black Rockck. If you look at the current market environment, a lot of the move that we've seen, that 30% rally that you noted, Nate, a lot of that obviously has been driven, as is well documented by a growing focus and concern over uh global debt and deficit levels. um and what's happened at the long end of of bond markets or governments uh around the world which is really uh at its heart a concern over um you know sustainability in some of that and what the implications are for uh potential monetary debasement money printing etc uh in the long run and that obviously uh is a big driver of what's always uh drawn people into into Bitcoin in in a way that historically uh they did as well for gold and continue to do for gold. Clearly, >> Bitcoin and crypto is the future. These prices are a gift. Uber CEO is bullish on Bitcoin, crypto, and stable coins directly saying crypto is a store of value. Bitcoin is a proven commodity. And for big businesses like us, I do think stable coins are quite promising. >> Crypto is a store of value. You know, obviously you can have your opinions on Bitcoin, but it's a proven commodity. Well, uh, and you know, people have different opinions on where it's going, but I do think that stable coin is quite promising, especially for global companies that are moving money around globally uh to create a mechanism for us to essentially reduce cost in terms of uh moving money internationally. So, that's super interesting to us and we're definitely going to take a look. It's going to be so obvious in the future when we look back on interviews like this. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant, we are going big on digital assets. >> We are going big on digital assets. So uh Trump administration has uh made digital assets a priority. Uh past administration starved and almost made extinct a lot of these companies and pushed it offshore. So what we want to do is apply the highest US regulatory uh and a AML standards to digital assets especially stable coins. And you know I've seen estimates that just over the short term stable coins could be create two trillion of demand for US treasuries and treasury bills. Uh to put that in context the number is probably about 300 billion right now. Hey, make sure you subscribe to Altcoin Daily. We are the largest crypto community in the world. Subscribe for daily videos just like this. And I'll leave you with one final bullish video. Jordi Visser, who is a macroinvesting expert answering the question, how high can Bitcoin go? Really? And although he admits he was a little too bullish last cycle, he says this time he's just going to do the math himself and come up with a realistic price expectation. So he shows his work, he explains his work and he gets a Bitcoin price of a 10x 800k to about a 15x a million. >> Somewhere at 800,000 to a million. >> How high is it going to go, Jordy? How high can it go? So, I'm I'm I I've I've learned my lesson after um last year believing we'd already be at 250,000 and we're not even close to that. Not to get into direct numbers, but here's what I'll say about uh Bitcoin in a in a in a in a a backended way. Um I do believe the transfer of assets from the traditional fiat system with terminal value now being disrupted by agents that more and more people are going to increase their holdings in Bitcoin. And right now, that is the only place that I believe that you're going to see massive retail, wealth management, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds. Again, they will be moving money into Bitcoin as a hedge against the other side of the equation, which is, let's just say, 700 trillion in assets versus 3 trillion market cap or let's say four. That number to me has to be a 100red trillion in the future. That's how much that the financial guard rails matter. And I think Bitcoin, which will stay the most important of that group, let's assume it ends up being 33% of crypto. Well, then you're talking about 33 trillion, a third of it. Let's go through where it is today at 2 trillionish. So, you can multiply that number by whatever you want, 10 to 15, and you can come up with whatever number you want. to get you
