That's Danny Kovacs our co-host of Next Gen investing here on the network. I do want to welcome in our next guest though. Take a more broad look. We've got Matthew Tuttle joining us live from impact, CEO of Tuttle Capital Management. Thank you for being with us, Matthew, taking the time out of your day over at Schwab Impact. But we had been seeing risk appetite seemingly return this week a last week's sharp sell off seemed to bee renewed confidence in AI spending. Now we've got a very different picture this morning, courtesy of alphabet and some of those names. I was just talking to Jenny about. How are you looking at the results that we've got and how it's going to impntiment now? Yeah. So I thi there's a lot of stuff going on in the market that's really interesting to us.o last week everyone was worried AI is dead. The AI trade is going to blow up. Then we had some positive ne of anthropic. And there's one that, you know, made you they, you know, AI spend is is not going anywhere. Oracle had some positive news where, you know, maybe their CDs aren't going to blow up in people's f And you had a couple of days ofrall, obviously a little bit of a sell off. You've got theoogle news, you've got what you guys were talking about as far as Fortinet and service. Now, you know, I don't think I'm seeing anything tod that's of concern. I'd be buying this Google dip. I don't know I'd buy Fortinet, but I'd definitely buy Croke here. And you know, I love software names. I buy ServiceNow as well. You menti anthropic there. We got the S-1. We got quite a bit of detail here, some questions answered. Still some questions to be answered here. But what specifically in their disclosures for you helped ease some concerns that their level of investment can be sustained? Yeah. So it's really goes down to the numbers as far as where the spend is, you know, where thei profit is, where their cash flow is. It's not necessarily a stock that I would buy on the IPO, but it is kind of the canary in the coal mine for the whole industry. And we had a lot of negative news come out over the past couple of w you know, anthropic, this anthropic, that which was hurting the market. So, you know, it's really j nothing specific in the numbers except the sky is not falling and everything con to move forward as it has been with with AI CapEx. What I am a little bit concerned about is kind of a space X type of deal wh space stocks rallied into the space IPO and then crushed. I mean, we could certainly see that in AI, a rally up until anthropic and then maybe a sell off. And certain anthropic itself, we'd wait, you know, a couple of days, maybe a wor so before we would buyit. But probably a name that you want to own at some point. And , interesting that you brought up the reaction for SpaceX's IPO, where we saw the SpaceX names really outperforming. And since they've really struggled, anthropic is a bit of a diff play because it's really a pure play. T don't necessarily have a direct competitor. So are there any names that you view as not being caught up? If we get a where if anthropic does well in its debut, it rides the wave wi and doesn't get sold off like we saw wi SpaceX names. Yeah. I mean, I think anthropic is kind of a tide that can take everything else with it. I don't think therearek it impacted, you know, a lot of th names trade together, which again, you know, you're seeing the cyberes sell off because of Fortinet. You know, so if anthropic ended up kind of coming out, get some hype, thg to things down with it. On the otherand, if anthropic is, you kno really successful on the I think a rising tide is going to lift all boats. You know, our favorite AI name right now Vicor, a little bit below the radar screen. I don't k how much of a direct impact something like anthropic will have on a Vicor, but it does trade kind of in tandem with the whole AI. Trade and energy play is to take a look at too, especially if there's concerns around seeing some of those name lower after that IPO, which we shouldf week I want to ask you about Oracleuse we did get some big news from Oracle'sg they're going to be self-fu They believe from 2029 onward of debt concerns when it comes to Oracle. But how does this this thesis that they'veidh 2031 change the investment case when it comes to concerns about the AI infrastructure build out? Yeah. we still wouldn't buy Oracle. But Oracle has been kind of a harbinger of the whole AI trade for a while. You know at firsthen Oracle ramped up, ynow, a year or so ago, whenever that was took all the AI stocks witht, then we've had obviously, the concerns over the past few months about their cash flow, their burn, their CDs whether those were going to blow out all the debt they were taking on.he fact that they are expecting to be, you know, cash w positive at some point in the very near future, I think is huge for the AI trade, because Oracle is one of those things that could really take things down if they have serious problems in their debt. Because, you know, if the financing dries up, if the money dries up, you've got no CapEx. Sohat's certainly something we're keeping an eye oin, I wouldn't be a buyer of Oracle. I think there are better names, but we do watch Oracle very closel All right. So we're not buying Oracle. But you d like VI Corps. What other names areooking at right now a lot of different namesking a outside of AI. I think you want to have the AI trades. You want to have other stuff. Yant to have property and casualty insurance stocks. We have an ETF Pcpc, but our favorite one is W.R. Berkley that had that's had a really great month. sold off a little in the past of days. I think this is a great buying opportunity. Property and casualty is a great business. It's also not correlated with with AI, with the S&P. And ifed goes into a rate hike cycle, property and casualty stock did really well the last time that happened. So we like that name.e also like timber. I like Rayonier, it's also uncorrelated. It's a play on maybe housing coming back. You know the fed left And I don't know that they're going to cut rates next year, but they certainly left room to do that if they want to. So, you know, another non-correlated to the AI trade name. All right. For getting yourself somediverso be what everyone is advocating for right now with some of the question marks tied to the AI trade. Matthew, really appreciate you joining us from Schwab Impact. Taking the time
