So, it looks like the world's energy routes are being rearranged. Some people say that what we're watching right now is based on a prophecy to bring about the end of the world. >> The Wall Street Journal is reporting the startling headline, "Oil executives say the great fuel crisis is here, and that's going to impact everything from the price you pay at the pump to the cost of heating your home." >> Uh, I think you got a problem. $4 gas, $6 diesel, 7% mortgages. Uh >> there's a lot of truckers messaging me saying that they are planning a trucker's strike. >> So take a look at this. This shows the massive increase we're seeing with the price of diesel fuel. And that's having a major impact on your wallet. Most of what you buy from groceries to clothes to electronics and toys, they're all shipped on trucks that run on diesel. The national average price today is $6.40. That is the highest it has ever been. I want to know what you think about the end times. >> We don't know when God is coming, but we are commanded to try to as much as possible try to make the world the kind of world that God wants it to be. While I wouldn't be shocked if we are living in the end times, what I'm trying to focus on is doing as much of God's work as possible right now. And if that leads to the end times, okay. So, in this video, I'm going to share with you four theories that explain why all of this is happening. And what's actually happening is that diesel is becoming very expensive. And everything downstream of diesel means that everything will be getting much more expensive as well. So, how did it get this bad? Here's how we got here. On February 28th, the US and Israel attacked Iran. In response, Iran closed something called the Straight of Hermuz, where a fifth of the world's oil used to flow through. Now, oil goes up by the biggest amount since the Gulf War, up 59% in March. Since then, there have been a million ceasefires and supposed deals, which never ended up happening. Then, in September, an Iranbacked militia in Yemen called the Houthis took control of another strait called the Babandeb. Then, on September 11th, Saudi Arabia closed its only backup pipeline after it was hit by drones. The Saudi crown prince supposedly called the White House twice in the same day asking for help. Trump's like, "Nope, I'm not going to help." Saudi Arabia calls up the refineries in Europe saying, "Yeah, about that oil we promised you in September. You're not getting it." So oil goes higher. September 16th, Federal Reserve increases interest rates for the first time since 2023 into a war, into an election, and the 10-year Treasury bond yield goes over 5%. And that's supposed to be pretty catastrophic for the bond market, which is also why US mortgage rates are now 7%. Then last week, JP Morgan puts out a note that says, "We have no idea what's about to happen to the world. They have no baseline for the price of oil anymore, and they don't know how all of this will end." So, what is actually going on? There are four possible theories, and here's what those theories briefly are. Theory number one says this is the world exiting the US empire and Iran has figured out that the best weapon to do that with is to attack the US bond market. This is basically the Suez Canal moment for the United States. Theory number two says if you follow the money you'll find that all of this is about profits for the defense industry for Wall Street and big tech. At this point, it's not a secret that together they're building something called the surveillance state and the digital control grid, which consists of flaw cameras throughout the country, right? Palunteers, government contracts, which have never been bigger, programmable dollars, AI rules written by AI companies. Theory number three says, what we're watching is the deliberate destruction of the world's energy infrastructure, and it's all part of the plan. Someone wants the world's infrastructure to burn and that someone is most likely the United States because it's the last stand of the dying empire in order to enforce its petro dollar system on the rest of the world. Now theory number four is the darkest theory which says that some of the people making all these decisions believe that all of this was supposed to happen. It was a prophecy predicted a long time ago. And in this theory, the point is to bring about the return of Christ and the end of the world. So, in today's video, I'm going to walk you through all four theories. I'll show you the evidence for them and why people believe in each of them, and I'll tell you which one I believe at the end and how I'm preparing for it. So, with that said, let's get into it. Hi, my name is Andre Jick. Hope you're doing well. Come for the finance and stay for the prophecies. All right. So, if you look around the world, nothing makes any sense right now. Saudi Arabia is supposed to be our ally and they asked for help and the president said no. Right? He wants interest rates to also go down but the Fed just raised them. We were also promised no new wars. Oil refineries are getting blown up in places like Russia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar. Diesel just hit an all-time high and the biggest bank in the world says it has no idea how any of this ends. So either the people in charge have lost their minds or this is going exactly the way that someone wants it to. So that's the question of this video. So let's just get right into theory number one which is the simplest theory that Iran is fighting back and the best way for it to fight back is to destroy the US economy. Right now we are told that Iran cannot beat the US military and maybe that is true and that is why Iran is going after something the United States can't defend which is the US Treasury market. Now, it's because today the United States has about $40 trillion of debt. And every year, a big portion of that debt matures. It has to be borrowed again at whatever the current interest rates are today. So, when the 10-year yield goes from 4 to 5%, the government's interest bill goes up by hundreds of billions of dollars. And that is why interest on the debt is now bigger than the whole defense budget of the country. According to one historian, any country that spends more on interest than on its own military, that is a nation in decline. And that's been true for every empire throughout history. So Ron's like, "Okay, well, we don't have to beat your military. We just have to break your oil market and your bond market." Expensive oil means expensive diesel, and expensive diesel means expensive food and shipping. And all of that to us shows up as inflation. And when inflation goes up, the Federal Reserve is supposed to increase our interest rates, which is exactly what they did on September 16th, which is also what I said would most likely happen in one of my last videos. Logically though, it does make sense because if a country is in decline and it's attacking other countries, then it has a higher risk profile. Therefore, investors want to be paid more to lend their money. Now, this is not just some theory. Iran has admitted all of this. The speaker of Iran's parliament basically posted this strategy online. They said they'll keep hitting oil infrastructure before every Fed meeting and they'll make the Federal Reserve choose. either keep increasing interest rates and break the American economy or stop raising rates into an oil spike and lose all credibility in the first year on the job. There's really no good answer. Now, the next Fed meeting will happen on October 27th. Watch what happens to oil around that time frame. There will most likely be more fireworks. Now, unfortunately for all of us, increasing interest rates doesn't really fix anything. And that's because the Fed's tools were built to fight a different kind of inflation. Rates are built to defend against lendingbased inflation. Increase rates, people borrow less, prices cool down. None of this is that scenario. This inflation is coming from an oil shortage and a $2 trillion deficit. So increasing the interest rates does not fix our oil shortage. And when the debt is 120% of GDP, higher rates make the deficit even bigger because the interest bill gets bigger. And that also means the people that had a lot of money parked in safe investments like treasuries and money market funds also just got richer because with higher interest rates, they're now getting paid more money on their money. Now, on the other side of all of this are ordinary people that have to pay more for groceries and more for gas and more to borrow money. That is that K-shaped economy. And this theory says it's going to get worse and Iran is counting on it. That is theory number one. Now, before we get into that, here's something I didn't know until recently. See, when most home systems detect motion, a recording gets saved somewhere and a notification gets sent out and then the whole system is basically finished doing its job. But everything after that is up to you and how fast you check your phone. And the nationwide response time for the police is about 10 minutes. And what would you do in those 10 minutes if someone was trying to break into your home? That's where today's sponsor, Simplysafe, comes in. Simply Safe added a step in the middle. It's called Active Guard. There's a monitoring agent watching in real time, and if they see someone doing something they shouldn't, they can speak to that person out loud while they're still standing on your lawn. And that turns out to be really important because most of these guys are just trying to find an easy target. But the moment a voice comes out of the wall describes what they're wearing, then you've become the difficult house, and that becomes discouraging because they'd rather find an easier target. They call it stopping crime in the grass instead of on the carpet, which I think is a pretty good way to put it. Now, the setup is super simple. There's no wires. The sensors stick to the wall. The whole thing takes about 30 minutes to set up, which I've done for my own home. And if your security system is only useful after something bad happens, then that's not security. Go to simplysafe.com/andre to get yours and get 50% off a system. Thank you Simply Safe for sponsoring this segment. And now let's get back to it. Okay, here's theory number two. This theory says, "Forget about looking at all of this from the lens of sovereigns." Right? This is not about nations and ideologies. This is overly simplistic and too naive. What this is actually about is applying pressure points to centralize more capital and control. And there's nothing more profitable to do that with than war. Right? And in this framework, there are three key players. the defense industry, aka the neocons, Wall Street, and big tech companies. Now, in some sense, you could say they're all part of the same big club, but let's look at them independently, starting with defense. Remember when Saudi Arabia reached out asking for help, and the US was like, "Nope." Well, that same week, the US approved a $ 24 billion sale of 48 F-35 jets to Saudi Arabia. So the US was like, "Yeah, we won't defend you, but we'll sell you the weapons if you want to go fight yourself." Some people argue that the reason the US doesn't want to help is actually because it can't. It's running out of missiles because China makes the critical components like the minerals needed to manufacture them. China's like, "We're not going to give you those if you keep bombing our allies and destabilizing the world to preserve your dominance." But in the meantime, the longer the war goes on, the more profits these companies get to make. So that's player number one. Now player number two is Wall Street. And by Wall Street I'm specifically talking about the banking system, the asset managers like Black Rockck and the hedge funds. Their incentives are different from the defense industries. They don't profit from war directly. They profit indirectly by financing the war. To understand this, you got to stop thinking about this as banks belonging to a country or a government because they have no allegiance to a nation or a people or a government. They are transnational capital. Their allegiance is only to themselves. And here's how they profit from this. War is expensive, right? So when people say the government has to borrow to finance the war, well, that's a way of saying you you're the one paying the interest through your taxes. It is your money that's being used to finance it. Because if you want to borrow, let's say, $100, right? You're not allowed to just borrow from anyone. You have to go through one of their banks like JP Morgan, Goldman, City, Bank of America. They buy your IOU and they resell it to places like pension funds and foreigners. They keep the difference. When everyone wants your bonds, aka the IUs, the bank gives you $99 for it. They sell it for $100. They keep a dollar. That's their spread. Okay, fine. But right now, nobody wants US bonds. They don't want the IUs. Foreign central banks have dumped $236 billion of them since the war started. So the bank's like, "Um, your debt is kind of risky. We'll give you $95. You have no choice, right? You need the money, so you take it." The bank turns around and sells it for $100, right? And now they keep $5. You got less money. You're paying more interest. and the middleman's cut just quintupled. Do that for $2 trillion a year. That's the first way they profit. The second way they profit is by inventing a new buyer for these IUs. The best way to do that is to create a law. That's why Congress passed something called the Genius Act, where every stable coin and every digital dollar has to be backed by US treasuries. The whole world will be buying these. They will earn zero on the interest. The banks though, they'll make 5%. And the asset managers like Black Rockck will get to manage it where they'll profit from it as well. That's the second way. The third way they profit is the rate increase itself because banks pay us nothing on our checking and savings accounts, but they lend that money to the government at 5%. And the Federal Reserve is owned by those banks and that means it basically just gave its owners a raise at your expense. Right? Now, the fourth way they profit from this is sort of the jackpot. It's the cleanup. The higher the rates go, the more likely things break. And at a certain point, it creates an economic crisis. And every crisis in modern history ends with the big banks and corporations owning more of everything than they did before. The big eats the small, right? So, the banks don't need the Iran war to be won. They'll be paid no matter what. They might be like, "Well, we have no baseline for oil. We don't know what's going to happen." But they don't care. That's why a bank has no allegiance to a nation. They're not some patriot that cares about a country. A patriot needs your IOU to hold its value. A bank doesn't. They just need the assets to be moved around where they make the spread. So the financial institutions are player number two in this and that's how they profit from it. But there's also player number three, which is big tech. And here's how they profit. All the AI CEOs right now are like, "Please regulate us government. We're going to become Skynet. But the funny thing is that throughout the history of American business, have you ever seen a company ask to be regulated when it was winning? That has never happened. So why would they be asking for Papa Government? Maybe it's because they don't really have any big advantage cuz anyone can copy their model and do it cheaper. But the only thing that would prevent that is the law. That's why they want safety rules that require licenses and compliance departments and minimum capital. And now no one new can compete with them. That's what regulation is for. It's the same thing banks did after 2008. By the way, Jensen Huang from Nvidia said more or less the same thing. >> And don't let don't let this this doomsday narrative cause somebody to relieve them of the laws that currently exist. Now go go go and go go and read between the lines. There's a lot of there's they're actually not asking for more laws. They're asking to be relieved of the laws we do have. And I I think that that's a problem. >> He's saying they want less laws to apply to them because if their products cause some harm, those regulations would allow them to ignore the laws that we have and it would shield them from lawsuits. So this theory says that what's happening in the world right now is big tech gets the AI rules, the banks will get the payment rails and the forever customer of products no one else wants to buy right now. And it's how the defense industry will get its war. Okay, so theory number three, this theory gets darker because it says that none of this was an accident. And what we're seeing around the world, which is the destruction of the world's energy infrastructure, is the goal, right? And the country behind it is most likely the United States. And here's the logic. The US is the biggest oil and gas producer in the world. If you burn everyone else's supply, then the world has to come to you. And if you can't make the world want your currency, you can make the world need your energy and you can price that in your currency. Now, I want to show you the evidence a little differently than what you might hear in the media. Because this theory says the media is not telling the whole truth. Saudi Arabia actually never asked the US for help like we're being told. We're being told the crown prince asked for help and Trump said no. This theory says Saudi Arabia knows exactly what's going on. And there's two things you have to know. Number one, the US is in an economic war with China. And China's factories run on oil mostly from the Gulf countries. If you close both the straits, you put pressure on China while forcing Asia and Europe to buy from you instead of Saudi Arabia. Now, the second thing you have to understand is the US is leaving the Middle East for good. It's being pushed out. And before it goes, it's using every bit of pain it can inflict to force Saudi Arabia to sign a deal with Israel. That's what's called the Abraham Accords. Saudi Arabia says they won't sign that deal until there is a Palestinian state. Now, if this sounds like a crazy theory, here's the evidence for it. Almost all of this is factually provable. China for example buys more Gulf oil than anyone in the world. When the straightup her moose closed that hurt China when Babal Mandab was closed that's hurting China. And what's happening very soon is that Trump is going to meet with Xi Jinping and Trump's leverage is holding China's energy supply hostage. The crisis is basically pushing countries closer to the US. Qatar, for example, which was the biggest gas exporter in the world before this war, just lost two of its production trains and is now in talks to buy gas from a terminal in Texas that Qatar owns 70% of. There's also Venezuela, which just signed a deal for the US to develop its oil. There's also Japan, Korea, and Europe. They're all being pushed toward the Western Hemisphere. And then there's Saudi Arabia. The US is like, "Sign these Abraham Accords and you'll get the protection and the weapons and the nuclear program." And Saudi Arabia is like, "Not without a path to a Palestinian state first." So the pressure that we're seeing on Saudi Arabia is actually indirect pressure the US is inflicting on them as a negotiation tactic and it's using proxies to do it. Now, in the meantime, the US bases are being pushed out, but look at where they're going. They're going to places like Poland, Greenland, which Trump has wanted since the first term, Venezuela, which just became an energy partner, the Arctic, right? So, the US is retreating towards its half of the world. That's that Monroe/Donro doctrine they talk about. So, by doing this, you're locking down the energy in your shipping lanes that are closest to home, and then you're putting your own military bases to protect them. The US is like, "If we're going to be pushed out, we're going to take everything we can on the way out." Here's another reason why this is a very credible theory. In 2022, 3 weeks before Russia invaded Ukraine, Joe Biden was asked about the Nordstream 2 pipeline, which is the pipeline that used to carry Russian gas to Germany. Biden said, quote, "If Russia invades, there will be no longer a Nordstream 2. We'll bring an end to it." >> Let me answer the first question first. If Germany if uh if Russia invades uh that means tanks or troops crossing the uh the the border of Ukraine again then uh there will be uh we there will be no longer a Nordstream too. We we will bring an end to it. >> The reporter was like how that's Germany's pipeline. Biden says I promise you we will be able to do it. But how will you how will you do that exactly since the project and control of the project is within Germany's control? >> We will uh I promise you we'll be able to do it. >> And then 7 months later that pipeline was destroyed. Now the following year a state department official told the Senate that the administration was quote gratified that Nordstream 2 was a quote hunk of metal at the bottom of the sea. And guess who replaced? Russia as Europe's biggest gas supplier. The next year, it was the United States on long-term contracts and in dollars. Now, to be fair, all of this is, of course, alleged, right? Cuz the only people that have ever been charged so far are a Ukrainian military team, and their trial starts in Germany next month. Nobody's officially proven the US blew up that pipeline, but the motive strongly suggests it, at least from a financial incentive. So, put all of this together, burn the competitor's pipeline, become Europe's supplier, close the Gulf, become Asia's supplier, starve China's factories, meet with Xi Jinping, and get the leverage you need to ask for what you really want. My guess is it'll be access to those critical minerals which the US military desperately needs. Squeeze Saudi Arabia and get the normalization deal on the way out the door to help Israel. So, that is theory number three. Okay, so theory number four. This is the darkest theory of them all and it's the hardest to prove and it's the easiest one to dismiss as crazy, but I'm going to share it anyway because a lot of people believe it. So before I start, I also want to say I'm not talking about a specific religion or a people. I'm talking about just people in positions of power in three different governments and only what they've said on record. Now you can do the rest. So this theory says that the people making these decisions right now are not making them based in reality or strategy. They're making them based on prophecy. And in their prophecy, the goal is to bring about the end of the world. So let's start with the US. Inside of American Christianity, there's a movement called Christian Zionism. Roughly a quarter of Americans are evangelical. And a big chunk of them hold a specific interpretation of the Bible where the modern state of Israel has to exist. It has to expand and it has to be attacked by its enemies because those are the events that would eventually bring about the return of Christ. This movement has millions of members. They have organized. They vote, right? They call their congressmen. And if a politician ever crosses Israel's interests, they make their lives miserable. You combine that level of fanaticism with the funding and you get what happened to someone like Thomas Massie, right? A Republican who was in Congress for over a decade and got primaried out this year after three billionaires who don't even live in Kentucky supposedly spent $30 million influencing the election. This prophecy also potentially goes all the way to the top. Here's the vice president of the United States. He was recently asked about the end of the world. And here's what he said. And if that leads to the end times, okay, this is the second most powerful person in the country, and he says it so jokingly, like it's not even a big thing. That's the US. But now there's Israel. Last year, Benjamin Netanyahu was asked about what he was reading. And here's what he said. >> The Jews against Rome. Jews against Rome. >> What made you pick it up? >> Well, we lost that one. I think we have to win the next one, >> he says. Yeah, we lost that one. We can't lose this one. This is biblical stuff, right? When the Gaza war started, he told the country to quote, "Remember what Amalecch did to you." That is a Bible verse. Amalecch is the enemy God commands Israel to destroy. Now, his office later said he meant Hamas. Okay, fine. But in his own words, this is not a war with Iran. It's a 2,000-year-old war. And watch how he describes the United States. This is a different time. Rome and Jerusalem clashed over values with a great tragedy for the Jewish people. But the new Rome, the United States, views itself as a new Jerusalem. >> So from his perspective, he views the United States as the modern-day Rome that is also the new Jerusalem. Right? That is basically his way of combining or connecting Christian Zionism with Israel's policy. Those are his own words. Okay. Now, Iran, the Iranian regime also sees this from the perspective of prophecy. They're preparing for the return of the Mahi, which is the figure in Islamic tradition who appears before the end of times to cleanse the world of evil. You can imagine how much more certain those people are right now now that the US got rid of the Ayatollah who was to them a sacred figure. So inside of this war there are three governments and inside each one there is a small group of people. In some cases these people are at the very top. They're very powerful people and they see all of this as the fulfillment of scripture. Now they might be getting all this information from different religions and different books, right? But they all share that same story, which is the end of times. Now, even if you don't believe a word of this prophecy and you think it's crazy, that's fine. But this theory is a useful framework in explaining how much longer and how bad this conflict might potentially get. So, that is theory number four. I don't particularly like this theory, but I think it's very useful to understand parts of this story. So putting all of this together, all of these theories have some truth to them, right? Because every one of them is actually the same story that's being told from a different perspective. Like Iran is acting in his own interest. The banks are acting in their own interest. The defense contractors, the AI companies, the religious believers, all of them are following their incentives. Now, some of them want power, some want control over capital flow, some want their prophecy to come true. The question that ultimately keeps me up at night is how am I going to prepare for any of this? Now, if theory number four plays out all the way, I don't think anyone can. Unless you have a bunker somewhere and you can grow your own food and you have your own water, in which case you're probably a billionaire that's already thought of all of this. Maybe it's a coincidence, but at the very least, seeing billionaires prepare for this by building bunkers is useful evidence that they believe there's some chance of this happening as well. Now, assuming theory number four does not play out completely, and I'm hoping that it doesn't, then the way to prepare is own assets in case of emergency because there are just two ways this will go. either up or down, obviously, but specifically it'll either be an inflationary collapse where the government can't sell its debt, so the Fed prints more money to buy it, and prices for everything go up, right? Assets go up the most. In that world, you want to own things that can't be printed. Stocks, because companies raise prices gold Bitcoin collectibles real assets. Now the second outcome is of course a breakdown. It's a deflationary collapse where interest rates stay high, things in the economy break, people lose their jobs, and prices collapse because no one can afford to buy anything. And in that world, cash is king, and gold and silver hold their value better than financial assets and other stocks. Now, gold and silver can still go down, but historically, they tend to go down less by comparison. Now, the worst thing you can own in a down scenario would be debt, right? Because that's when people lose their incomes and their stuff. I have no idea which outcome we're going to get. Maybe it's neither of these and nothing happens and the world keeps on going the same way that it was before, and I sure hope so. But if I had to choose one outcome, I'm going to be an optimist and say I'm leaning more toward an inflationary collapse where prices go up. And the biggest reason why I believe that path a little more is because if there was going to be a massive conflict like World War II or something, I think the market would have already priced this in. The insiders would know by now. They would have allocated their money accordingly. And that means we'd see insanely high gold prices, the likes of which we've never seen, and a breakdown in the trust of the entire system. All of that would be reflected in the price of some asset in some market somewhere. And I don't think that's just happened yet. But it does seem we're sort of headed that way. And that's why I want to own assets that help me in both of these scenarios. And I also keep a few months of food and basics in the house just in case because if the diesel shortage gets worse, then I think things could get a lot worse than just higher gas prices. So I did what I could. If that's interesting, I go into a lot more detail on all of this in the premium member section where I have my own checklist of stuff I've prepared and a full breakdown of how I'm positioning on the investment side. If that's valuable to you, you can find all of that and more in the member section where I post my videos earlier, share more of my extra thoughts. The links are down below. Thank you so much for watching this video and being a premium member if you are, and I'll see you here next time. Thicker.
