…ryone's talking about, of course, are these um genomic stocks. MRNA still just a very choppy choppy name. We've seen a couple uh strong opens get sold into. It got extended and now we're just uh kind of biting time in here up in this zone. TEM is probably worth keeping a closer eye on this week. It's right on that rising 20-day moving average, the anchor from the LEO low and this prior band of resistance. So, TEM is looking interesting. I just like to see it settle down a little bit uh before maybe getting involved. And CRSP uh is kind of the other one that's it's it's holding on to support, but it's showing these lower highs coming into it. So, no reason to be excited or look to get involved in that. TEM is probably worth keeping a closer eye on this week. It's right on that rising 20-day moving average, the anchor from the LEO low and this prior band of resistance. So, TEM is looking interesting. I just like to see it settle down a little bit uh before maybe getting involved.

Everybody, Brian here. It is Saturday the 5th of September and uh we had basically a positive week for the markets. Uh bonds lost some ground which of course uh means yields were higher. Bitcoin in spite of its uh loss on Friday had a good week up 2 and a half%. So let's take a look at these charts and make some sense of it. The S&P 500, you can see here it's just kind of uh it's it's pretty ugly really. I mean, the good news is we had a a quick dip below the Liupold anchor right there and then the market quickly recovered. Right now, on the daily time frame, we still have a a pattern here. Uh, and I don't view it as a real, you know, large concern, but we do have lower highs and lower lows after coming off that all-time high over here. So, perhaps we need to settle down a little bit for this market to decide whether it's ready to run to new all-time highs or not. The NASDAQ uh is of course much further away from the all-time high. Uh more in time really than price because it's still, you know, only a stones throw away uh up at that 745ish area. Um looking to the 30 minute time frame, we spent the week going back and forth above and below that 5day moving average. Uh and the last couple weeks we've been shaking out below the Leopold anchors. So it's been a choppy mess in here. And uh a lot of that action of course is due to the what what has been underperformance in the semiconductors. Now you take away Friday's gain or because of Friday's gain rather uh we were up on the week in the semiconductors and that was largely driven by of excuse me of course Micron where the energy has been building here. uh you know a lot of people myself have been talking about that and SanDisk and you know now these stocks they do have declining 50-day moving averages but once these trains leave the station they can often go for a while so uh I think it would be a good idea to keep a close eye if you didn't get involved in these names to keep a close eye on them uh next week there were plenty of opportunities on Friday as we pulled back to the volume weighted average price to buy bounces in uh micron and also just really one opportunity in SanDisk early on right here. Uh but the buyers are in control of these names. The key is not to chase them and uh put yourself in a disadvantage uh entry point uh you know and get shaken out by a normal pullback. That is uh so back to the semiconductors again. we've got that declining 50-day moving average. And realistically, if you look at the the uh action over the last uh 3 weeks or so, it's really kind of just been rangebound in here below that 20 and 50-day moving average. So, I would say you they're turning more bullish, but uh I wouldn't say it's time to have a full-size bullish bet in in this uh uh in the semiconductors. biotechs are pulling, you know, they did what we expected them to do, that is to have a false rally with the declining fiveday moving average and then for that range to start tightening tightening up. So, this group looks good for next week. It's holding that rising 20-day moving average. If it were to break below these two recent lows right here, then I would say it it needs a little bit further time to consolidate. So if we break below here then uh you know basically just leave it alone for a little while but if it continues to uh set up like this then look for the opportunity for some upside uh over in this area. Financial stocks they're still kind of in that bigger rangebound and up towards the high end of it of course this week u but rangebound nonetheless. Uh energy uh pulling back a little bit but still have a beautiful pattern here of higher highs and higher lows. So I would be looking for at some point this week a higher low to develop and then perhaps there's an opportunity for a purchase uh as it rallies out of that. The uh MAG stocks have been you know holding up right near the all-time highs here after this bigger shakeout and Friday they saw some underperformance. So, uh, a couple days of maybe just kind of consolidation, build some energy, and then this group could be, uh, where the leadership comes from in that if we don't fail here, and instead we, uh, see some constructive action, uh, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, that could be building for a a push to new all-time highs. You look at stocks like Apple, deeper pullback on Friday. So, that that's actually a good thing. it it'll set it up for a better opportunity for a lowrisk entry if you're not involved. And realistically, we've still got this declining 200 day moving average. We're right at the year-to- date anchor. Microsoft, this is probably the strongest of them. Uh, but you know, you look at uh Netflix, it rallied up to the year, you know, just to close to the year-to- date anchor and is pulling back. Um, it's just difficult to see where this leadership is coming from. Palanteer is just kind of stuck up. You know, it it's it's in an uptrend, don't get me wrong, but it's showing some incredible volatility in here that makes it very difficult to position yourself in a lowrisk way. SpaceX, I know there's a lot of enthusiasm here. I think it's possible that this is going to serve, you know, become a false uh breakout and then uh failure. There's no evidence of that right now. I just, you know, that's just kind of a personal gut feeling, I guess you would say. Um, Bitcoin is uh still in it's I guess it's still battling with this anchor from the uh all-time high. It seemed as though it was going to be able to uh you know really make a push on Thursday, but it came right back in quickly on Friday. Um so I I'm still just, you know, underpositioned in there and uh waiting for patiently for something better to present itself. the a the action in gold has really been amazing in that you know these are levels we spoke about in advance and and that is that you know before you know right up in here I said we're coming into the year-to- date anchor uh be aware it's a possible level of supply and it failed quickly right there and then as it pulled back we said look at the anchor from the year-to- date low and it nailed it absolutely perfectly there was o you know if if this is your trade you know that there was opportunity in there. Um, and then as it rallied uh from that, I said be aware of the anchor from the recent high. Nailed it. Came down perfectly. And now we're flirting with the anchor from this most recent leg. So, I expect the volatility is going to diminish in gold, but just some pretty incredible uh action in there in terms of how it behaved around those volume weighted average price levels.
