You have to own either Nvidia or you have to own AMD or you have to own Micron.

I'm comfortable buying memory stocks, DRAMM, EWI, which is the South Korea ETF, Micron, whatever it is, SanDisk, depending on the one that you have highest conviction on.

So, any weakness in the semiconductor stocks, memory names, or even the equipment makers can be confidently bought.

I'd be considering rotating here.

I do believe you want to be careful with areas like memory storage that have only done well because of pricing power. Once that pricing power goes away, those stocks could fall a lot more from here.

I think Micron could be going down to 700, 750... Anywhere between 650 to 750, 700. I think it's a golden spot for Micron.

If you want to own these stocks, you know, start scaling in. buy a little bit, chip away at it, and before you know it, you'll have your full position built out and you'll smooth out um you know, your buys.

you could dollar cost average in here, but I don't know if I would go all in on it quite yet.

when the charts look a little shaky, you know, when the charts look a little um a little wonky, pointing to more downside and you're up on a quick trade, it's never a bad idea to lock in the quick profit.

I don't know if it's time to buy Micron yet, but it's definitely time or or at least I don't know if it's time to buy a huge amount of Micron yet, but you can argue it's time to start scaling in, especially if we get this next gap to fill.

That would be the time in my eyes to buy, you know. That would be a great buy.

You could argue now is not a bad time to start scaling in, but I'd much rather see, okay, does Micron take out 880? Does this head and shoulders play out?

They talked about some of these names that are all buy rated, and that they have some of the ones that you're talking about here, like Nvidia and Marvell and Micron and Broadcom, they think they have 30% upside because of the compute and memory networking, the equipment.

I'm pretty much bullish across the board here across Amazon, Google meta Microsoft Nvidia and micron as we sort of look across some of the big names that we talk about as you look out the next 3 to 5 years

Micron is the one that we continue to think is extremely cheap compared to its peers. The one that's gone up, you know, a couple of hundred percent recently, but it's still showing from a valuation standpoint to be pretty cheap.

memory is the one, I think, particularly at these stocks trading at six and seven times and so forth earnings, I think they're still very attractive.

I got a short neutral to bearish call vertical to look at here July 31st. Weekly options that expire in two weeks. Sell that 950 call and then want to stay risk to find in a 9 or $880 stock. Buy the 970 call.

this is just the beginning for Micron.

I would still re-enter that short if you were to say for for 17% potential for profit, 2 to 3% potential for loss, I would take that short all day.

I initially opened a position a short on Micron for those that don't know.

Micron got ripped today, right? From overall highs to current lows, the stock sold off 12%. ... So, again, I kept it simple. I bought very small amounts. We did it with cash, not with leverage.

This doesn't deter me from wanting to buy the dip. As many of you guys know, I've been very vocal about being okay with investing into Micron, but I'm doing it in a way where again, not using leverage and positioned well that if things did get worse before they got better, I can tolerate that time.

Micron to me, in my opinion, is a safer play.

I'm actually going to trim a portion of this position.

So I bought the dip just as it reached oversold levels.

I began trimming that position and then selling it fully

I bought the dip during uh the aftermarket hours

If you buy Micron right now, it's trading at 830 8.40

I'm going long on it.

then opened up a small short right now

I then went long when it found its support and recovered

So, I ended up having to cut losses on it

I unfortunately bought the dip on MU

There's Micron currently trading at Fuh 9 8.94 if I'm not mistaken 8.95 around that general range if it ends up recovering back to 1255 this thing offers about 40% of potential profit.

specifically on, micron on the memory side is a big opportunity.

micron has been really battered the last several days, and that will probably continue to some degree in the fall. But the earnings power of that company right now is enormous. I would put it in Nvidia and several other stocks in that category in terms of ones you really need to own in this market, but you want to you want to buy on a weakness, you want to buy when they're really been kicked down significantly. And micron is in a real sell off process and is going to get attractive at some point. But not right now.

But what you're seeing is major opportunity uh you know to be able to buy some of these companies, right? To be able to buy um you know Micron in the low 900s compared to it was 1,200.

My opinion, pretty good time to be buying.

What we believe though, Doug, is there's somewhere between 10 and 12 trillion dollars of cumulative capex that's going to be spent on AI between now and 2030. And companies like Nvidia and Micron, which were, you know, sold heavily, especially Micron, the memory names, in this last 30 days, these companies are trading at extremely cheap valuations based on their long-term agreements and the long-term profit expectations that they have. So I think this shakeout was probably healthy to delever some of what was going on in the market, but I think it also pro provides a good environment for some of these stocks that have gone down it feels like for a month straight to start going back up.
